B time for K is going to get back into
this F she goes do we have a decision
look at the hug there we
go what is up guys and welcome to
today's video I hope you enjoyed that
little Montage of some of our favorite
moments with the cream s13 I've got big
news for you and that's that the long
awaited and highly requested s13 decks
are going to be dropping today at 5:00
p.m. Eastern Standard Time this car is
long overdue for a deck I predict this
one do sell out very quickly and if that
is an incentive enough we're also going
to give out a free sticker pack with any
deck order placed today but wait there's
a little bit more if you want me to sign
the deck absolutely for free just leave
it in the order comments I'll be more
than happy to sign it just be patient I
might take an extra day or two cuz you
know I'm busy building trails to go race
my rally car in but you'll see that in
this video thank you what is up guys
happy weekend welcome to the video
Matt's hanging out with us today going
to go get this car dirty yeah so I think
you secretly just want to get it dirty
so I'll wash it for you tomorrow I mean
it does need a wash we're going to be
teaching Matt how to drift today so
expect that later on the video but
before that I've been making these
secret missions to roads that people
have sent me in the area to try to find
a cool Trail SL dirt road that I can
take this thing most of them have been
busts that's why I haven't shown
anything in the content but I've got a
good feeling about this one so I'm
having Matt come along with me we got
the brand new new ricaro so you should
be nice and comfy just went to the wrong
side of the car yep yeah you'll get that
yep so uh yeah hopefully hopefully for
your sake we have some fun but and for
my sake hopefully it's nice tame fun
yeah you know I'm a a tame kind of guy
worst case scenario we'll go to tractor
fly and get the screws you need so this
is how I roped them in to come with me I
like oh you know it's right by Tractor
Supply so these are nice usually you put
like bucket seats in the car and then
it's like less comfy backwards now
hopefully this is uh
so what uh what suspension is on this uh
essentially like custom BC coilovers
that are just like a hodgepodge of
different shocks and springs and other
things that I you just put a taller
spring on a regular shock right uh
they're long shocks okay they're not
normal shocks by any means for the most
part the ride's amazing there's a few
little weird noises but and then you
just get up kind of a Floy four-wheeler
yeah what's the update we got a little
rubbing going on but uh I don't want to
space the wheels out cuz then we run
into more clearance issues so we're just
we're going to let it rub away it might
get a little smoky might smell a little
bit in here in the beginning but we're
going to be walking home nah hopefully
not well we got trailers close by okay
the rubbing the rubbing thing like it
won't break us down it's just
inconvenient and sucks but I'm also
really excited and too lazy to properly
fix it right
now more Road Adam found dirt in the
dirt it's a good time yeah I know
right the idea is just finding roads
that are like not my def hous yeah
that's ain't it least not yet got some
water I don't know if I'm trying to
cross that M
shoot that minivan went across you're
not
wrong it's probably not that high but
what's this oh private property man this
is what keeps happening yeah I get so
excited and then well that's private
property thinking yeah that might be a
little deeper yeah big old Lumber all
right to the hardware store all right it
was a bus mat sad I wanted you to get
this thing dirty I mean we'll do a
little all whee Drive launch on the road
but uh yeah that's about it should all
wheel drive feels
yeah pretty cool right
yeah it's got a little
uh little more than I expected it to
have
got to fun on one
corner a stop successful uh we're going
to check out another road that I've been
wanting to check out but this one I
think there's going to be bird people
there as my dad would call them so you
don't want to mess with the bird people
oh they're not really bird people what
do you mean you just making up the bird
no I I looked up YouTube videos in this
place like people go bird watching there
was like we're on a Saturday you know
I'm going on a nice leisurely drive with
my dad oh I took you at your word I
thought it was like real bird people not
like made up bird people no I'm talking
real bird watchers yeah they don't like
Safari cars I'll just wave they'll be
fine don't worry about it just nice
leisurely stroll with my Dad yep you
know it looks like give your Co Uncle
act like you're driving cool Uncle yeah
there you go all right so this road is
amazing except for I guess instead of
trees we got water on both sides there's
lots of fishermen and people here so I
don't think this is uh this is the road
but imagine if they closed this down and
made it into a rally stage this is
Florida this is Florida's againsts yeah
it is look you can see the uh shuttle
launch from right there that's pretty
crazy this probably fills up with people
when they they launch yeah we're out
there man mangroves on the right inter
Coastal on the left lots of people
fishing yeah I can see you sliding this
corner here no it's flat out what I like
about it is it's really wide open so you
can see everything yeah but uh yeah know
that ain't happening today unfortunately
no if you know some roads around me let
me know all right I want to get out to
the firm I want to go to some proper
rally tracks but during the work week
it's difficult to make a drive that far
oh yeah look at
that it's pretty good you got to find
something like this it's remote where
nobody's at no houses no National Park
really remote it's the park problem yeah
there's a lot of people
around look at that dude that's sweet
and here's the thing you don't even look
like a dork when you're videoing cuz
everybody else is taking pictures look
at this part
after driving all day and not being able
to find any trails to drive I had an
itch that I had to fill so I went on our
former suron Trails which I should have
showed you guys first cuz they're super
overgrown and lots of new dirt and rocks
and cement dumped after all the concrete
repairs worked on it for about an hour
and a half 2 hours to try to make our
track here better now it's small but
it's not all about size it's about how
you use it and I think I'll be able to
turn this into a pretty cool layout
probably going to be like first gear but
I still think it'll be fun and it'll
help me brush up on some of my all-wheel
drive slidy
skills all right first take rear wheel
drive time to send
it oh tree tree
treat you
box I got to do something with those
rocks ditch I got to be careful of
there
that's pretty
[Music]
[Music]
fun
[Music]
[Music]
try auto all whe drive and see how what
handles be a lot faster
now
oh so it doesn't even lock you know we
drive I think cuz it Doesn't decouple
the front true pulling oh I almost hit
that my
god
oh how did I not see
that go like this back this I literally
was about to look I literally looked in
the mirror I didn't even see it dude
stupid mirrors how bad is
it a wheel that' be
nice we all
right yeah dude it sounded like we hit
my quarter yeah but the quarter is good
is just the wheel yeah thank God all
right get in we're doing it again what
the did you just get that lucky I don't
know are you ready
[Music]
yeah
good
[Music]
[Music]
oh my God
oh she's breaking
up it's getting too
hot it'ss really rich when it gets hot o
they go yellow that's pretty cool that
was fun all right today's the day Matt
what are we about to do you're going to
teach me how to drift officially so if
you didn't see I was pretending to be me
one day while I was gone took out the
E36 I'm not going to lie me and Colette
like we were very very impressed it
looks like you've done this before so I
swear to you that's probably the third
dut I've ever done in my entire life I'm
I'm a straight and narrow kind of guy so
doing putting it making a car go
sideways is not my thing what I'm
interested to see is like it's funny
like usually when I teach a guy how to
drift they're like foot to the floor
they don't know how to like really dial
themselves back and it's very hard for
them to control and it seems you had a
really good balance of throttle and
steering input well I I think I'm afraid
you know I'm very reserved you know the
obsession is real uh and so I'm thinking
about it a lot probably more than what
you're used to where people just send it
the the feeling the grip is like
everything once you feel that and you
find the limit both on the steering and
the gas like that's when you when it
clicks but it's hard if your foot to the
floor to be able to find that you know
yeah yeah I'm interested to see can I
even do this is this something I can
figure out well I'm also interested to
see you drove the E36 which is arguably
one of the easiest cars to the drive the
Z is a very easy car to drive too but
this one's got a little bit more going
on with it the rear is really soft the
front's a little loose cuz it's set up
for LZ grip driving and uh it uh I don't
know it's different you're going to hate
how it sounds but I'm curious to see how
you like how it drives I'm just going to
throw you in first and we're going to
see what you can do and then we'll we'll
figure out where to go from
there hey Matt if you hear any weird
noises it's normal this thing's been
through uh it's been through some
right yeah I could see that I didn't
stall it back and out so we're we're off
to a good start you look good at
it it's been a while since I've been in
this thing yeah she's got some history
man so so I need I need lots of room I'm
going to go do a donut up there right
sure yeah wherever you
want to be fair most people wouldn't
learn at the compound either but I'm
just really trusting of you oh oh
one big thing one big thing stop the car
okay this car I'm guessing I haven't
checked tire pressure it probably has
very little front grip okay most people
will Panic break and steer if they're
trying to get away from something okay
obviously don't slam on the brakes and
turn to lock if you feel like you're
going to plow into something smaller
inputs and like light on the brake
you'll feel it let's do a donut and then
I'd like to teach me how to do a figure
eight I can I can never make that link
sure and one thing to focus on while
you're doing the donut is try to
maintain like a equal Circle so try to I
can get you a cone if you need to have
like a A Center Point okay but instead
of just doing a donut try to focus on
just maintaining a smooth Circle I think
yeah the easiest way is just to dump the
clock see I always uh I have a tendency
to bail out yeah this one you're going
to need to be kind of committed to the
throttle quite a bit so are you
Feathering you kind of off and on I mean
you want to break traction and then once
you're in the slide and comfortable
you're just don't a lot of people do
this yeah try to be smooth okay when you
do this the car is going to do that and
the car you're going to have to make big
steering Corrections when you're smooth
with your inputs yeah you're just kind
of like
[Music]
balancing can't all right so have you
ever done like a trick on a bike where
you go where you look yeah yeah yeah
okay you got to keep looking around the
circle and stay committed on the
throttle okay a little bit
tighter
start to floor it a little
more so that was perfect I just need you
to start releasing the wheel soon yep
yep y that's it oh I see it it doesn't
it feels so unnatural that was it and
then basically then your wheels are set
and you just maintain throttle and
you're
good
that was it got it let's see if I can do
it again the biggest critique on that
you were making a big adjustment on the
steering wheel and that's why you
weren't holding a steady Circle it was
kind of going and then big correction so
Mak smaller micro adjustments and it'll
it'll be
perfect
I could have almost figure it there when
when you're steering in what's happening
is you're steering in and you're holding
it there okay when you're doing the
donut and you're using that correction
tool you're you're going to like steer
in but then you're almost going to
immediately bring the wheel back to like
let's say your donut position is like
heish you're going to steer in but then
you're almost going to bring the wheel
right back if you steer in and lock and
hold it it's just going to going to spin
you out I feel like I'm doing I'm I'm
either out here or I'm back here and so
I'm doing too much input I think yep I
need to stay in this yep position
exactly
okay
that was really good I just can't
maintain a even circle now I think what
was helping you there is you were being
nice and easy on the gas and you're
really feeling the grip yeah you're kind
of feeling where the car is at and like
that helped a lot would it help if I
kind of show you how I'd approach it in
this
yep got letting
go
that little sawing kind of keeps it in
drift for the second you go hand over
hand or you crank it you're going to
spin out starting with it turn a little
biger so once you get set if you keep
your hands locked on the wheel and just
make those little micro adjustments you
should be able to do everything else
with the throttle that'll prevent you
from going Overkill yeah I'm like on off
all over the
place so close that one hand overand the
second you do that you spin
out
yep so right there you starting to lift
you floor it and it stayed in drift
then after you Flor it you needed to
breathe off a little bit but did you
feel what that did for the car yeah
yep right come on Madd you can do
[Music]
this
it it dang it we getting it
[Music]
now
let's
go I got it I got
it
[Music]
woo that was
it our temp oh shoot is it Peg yeah ah
you're good just drive in circles it'll
cool down
you got the feel and you were learning
what to do when it was starting to over
rrow like your your throttle movements
were really good yeah hey there I forgot
to film an outro I had a really good
time making this video I hope you had a
good time watching it reminder to go
check out our decks we just launched our
decks the're really nice decks they
might be sold out we might be sold out
of decks by now hey thanks for watching
the video should I get a skid steer and
make more Trails or should I start
pulling the engine of my porch or should
I get more
decks okay bye when
