from the telegraph in the UK UK which is

a decent Outlet um from a decent

journalist saying that United

shortlisted der Zerby tuel and um Gran

Potter what I would say about those

straight away is um I don't think

Barcelona are going to be looking at any

of those managers so Javi leaving

Barcelona shouldn't make us go we

need to sack ten hog uh do Liverpool

look at any of those managers I don't

think Liverpool will go for a German

coach again straight after klopp and I

the latest on Marcus rashford a big big

video we were live last night when this

came out that Lori Whitwell in the

athletic and his colleagues had

confirmed that Marcus rashford was out

on Thursday night he wasn't out on

Wednesday night uh Manchester United

obviously had training at carington on

Friday morning and Marcus rashford was

in a Belfast nightclub in the early

hours of that morning so you know not

acceptable um I just want to say on this

um really really obvious Point here when

I saw Eric tenh hard's press conference

on Friday and he said that Marcus

rashford and Johnny Evans were ill I

take that on safe safe value that

they're ill and I automatically think

you know January in the UK it's probably

a chest infection or a cold or some sort

of you know that sort of an illness this

has been going around Manchester United

for two months rashford's already had it

um varane's had it martial's had it

we've had this illness thing going

around Old Trafford and Carrington for

two months this is high this is high

level sport this is people lose their

job they don't get a contract you don't

get a win bonus millions of fans are

disappointed because you you lose or you

draw at some point Man United and I'm

pretty sure s David braford will

implement this at some point Manchester

United have got to start acting like a

big football club and what I

mean by that is so many people are

getting their knickers in a Twist about

a player being in a nightclub the night

before

training what you've also got to think

about is you're a professional athlete

going into a nightclub or a pub or even

a restaurant where there's hundreds of

other people exposes your body which is

you know meant to be a well-run machine

it's like a Formula One car it exposes

you to the fumes and germs of a load of

people that actually P during the season

maybe you should avoid like we've had so

many people ill recently and I know you

can't say to a player don't go out to a

club don't go out to a pub but you can

educate you can educate these players

and say look the standards at this

football club is I want you to be

available every week unless you've got a

footballing injury and if you're not

available because You' picked up an

illness you're on 1002 200 300,000 a

week where have you picked it up from

what have you been doing doing to go out

and pick up a cold or a cough now if

it's it's from your kid who's been at

school fine but people say well you

can't micromanage like that other clubs

do other sports do like you wouldn't

believe what some athletes do to avoid

picking up an illness you know marathon

runners and people like that so look you

can take it as low or as high as you

want what I'm saying if if you want

sporting excellence and you want

high-end mentality and you want the best

players on the pitch each week these

things are part of that and I'll tell

you for free cycling so David balford if

he brings this in he will be looking at

exactly stuff like that I think people

get lost on the fact that a player might

be in a nightclub they might be in a

nightclub having a lime and soda with no

drink with no alcohol in it but they're

still surrounded in a not very well

ventilated room by hundreds of other

people the day before they train a

couple of days before they've got a

match if they pick up an illness they go

into Carrington and they pass it round

if they weren't in that nightclub or Pub

that doesn't go around and this has been

Old Trafford for a long time this has

been going on we need to look at this

sort of stuff it's not just being in a

club the night before training it's also

how you conduct yourself in your private

life like you're a professional athlete

earning more money than most athletes

earn in any sport and we need that

professionalism the attitudes of the way

the be attitudes and behaviors are not

acceptable at Manchester United I think

we can all agree on that anyway the

timeline of rashford's case Wednesday

he's in Belfast he's out Thursday is a

day off Thursday night he's in a club in

Belfast Friday morning Carrington

training I think the slippage here is

Wednesday he was at training Wednesday

night is in Belfast that's fine Thursday

is in Belfast that's fine get yourself

back for Thursday night so You' be back

for training the issue is why are you in

a nightclub on Thursday night when

you've got training on Friday morning

morning apparently he took a private jet

in the early hours of Thursday morning

back to Manchester and then skipped

training but that's the problem you know

training in Carrington Thursday day off

rationale as to why you're paying that

wage why you're paying that salary why

you're paying that commission why you're

paying that transfer fee and if you

don't and you overpay you lose and that

puts you in a difficult position for the

next deal that you do I mean look this

is not rocket science this is absolute

common sense and it's something that

we've been talking about on this

community for years and years and years

and years but that now it looks like

we've got a CEO that actually gets it

the snowball effect of going to Juventus

and saying there's 89 million for Pogba

overpaid here's a ridiculous wage

overpaid Mino Rola there's tens of

millions of pounds overpaid the minute

you do that the next deal you do Harry

MaGuire Aaron Juan Baka Jaden Sancho

Bruno Fernandez like all these deals

that come after Pogba snowball on

reputation of you know how much I earned

out of man united do you know how much I

earned out of man united you know how

much we got out of man united and this

is what barard is talking about and you

lot have been talking about it for years

it's absolutely ridiculous how we've

just snowballed for years and years into

paying I mean look at the Anthony deal

Anthony as a player leave him alone but

it's the same with Harry McGuire as well

leave the player alone it's not their

fault but 80 million pound for Harry

McGuire 190 Grand a week 80 million

pounds for Anthony 200 Grand a week

they're not 200 Grand a week players and

should have given him any more than 140

never should have gone up we never

should have gone over 55 million we went

up by another 25 we never should have

ridiculous ulous amounts of money

this is why I'm really encouraged look

there's many aspects to what I think

else but this has to stop this will make

shirt and we'd have got him that summer

would be pure profit as I said last

night but I don't know that United will

do it if I'm being completely honest but
