Q & A
What kind of truck is being used in the video?
-An old Soviet off-road truck that the narrator used during his military service.
Why did they remove fluids and parts from the truck before the explosion?
-To minimize environmental impact and make sure the truck could no longer be used, since spare parts are hard to find.
What was placed under the truck's wheel before detonating?
-A 3D printed mine replica filled with 10kg of TNT equivalent explosives.
What safety precautions did they take?
-They cleared fluids, wore protection, took cover 100m away in a concrete bunker.
What was the narrator's prediction for the explosion?
-The wheel would fly 200m, the truck's frame would remain undamaged, the front would be slightly broken.
How did the actual damage compare to the prediction?
-The truck survived better than expected. The frame deformed where the mine exploded but rest of truck remained usable.
What injuries might the driver have sustained?
-Potentially fatal injuries from blast wave and shrapnel, though cabin offers some protection.
Could the truck have been repaired?
-Yes, only one corner was badly damaged. Axles and suspension survived explosion.
What was the purpose of the landmine in combat?
-To stop vehicles and cargo by destroying wheels/tires.
How did the video creators rate the explosion experiment?
-They gave it 5 out of 5 for meeting expectations and having no injuries or issues.

welcome to P the Press Channel today we
have excellent video as always we are
going to test what kind of effect on the
tank mine is going to have on this
off-road truck and yeah it's it's going
to be quite the effect and I have to say
that I have interesting history with
this type of truck I have actually had
one of these trucks for myself two
months in an army it's bit like your G
when you are serving you have your own
rifle I had my own truck and after two
months I got like finish made truck
after this and it was better but this
wasn't like terrible I can like show
inside soon what is like the cing and
stuff like that and uh don't worry we
have gotten the fluids out the gas tank
is empty motor is like out of oil and
it's also strip out of spare part for
other trucks this doesn't work anymore
at all even that like steering stuff is
removed so it's about the same stuff as
with the uh Tesla that we exploded it's
mostly like empty up there so it's ready
to go they don't like ship spare parts
for these so if you want to keep some of
them running you have to like demolish
other ones to keep the like rest running
yeah they still use this at Finish Army
not much but like at least some special
models that have like something peed on
the like back of the truck but most of
the trucks and other equipment is like
Western M these days but there's still
like lot of like also Soviet stuff but
soon there's going to be one truck less
and since we want to like keep this
magnificent front of the truck or at
least hope to keep that we are going to
place the mine here on under the rear
wheel so this is like
reversing towards the mine and it's bit
over filled because I wanted to copy the
Finish anti-tank mine and it was too
large for my 3D printer even in the in
like many parts so I had to scale it
down 5% so there's not like it's like 5%
too small because we wanted to like
match the amount of explosives that we
are using and then and to lighten the
mood We Made It Disco chill disco is
Disco and chill is the brand of the
truck so it's not so
serious yeah I think I think this like
excellent thing and uh yeah hey I saw
the truck now the inside while it's
still like intact okay and you of course
want to see
inside it's uh pretty simple missing
some parts also here doesn't
matter yeah so you have a huge
wheel it's not connected anymore to
anything but it should be and it's it's
pretty light if you hit rocks or
something it can spin and hit your hands
so keep your thumbs out and then the
gear lever this is long and has quite
long throw and at least on the one that
I had
the synchronization is really bad so you
have to match the rests with the
throttle when shifting
down then brakes they are pneumatic and
uh it works differently than western
trucks here you use the air to push them
closed with western trucks you use air
to like keep them open and if you want
to leave in a hurry and all the air is
out this is better because you don't
have to wait that the brakes unlock you
can just go but then it's also a bit
sketchy because if you just don't check
the air pressure and you start to drive
and if it's empty you have absolutely
zero brakes and it takes good couple
minutes to get any braking at all then
clutch it's really
long quite heavy and then
here high
beam and then here you can see the IR
pressure for the tanks some general
stuff speed these go like bit over 100
kilm per hour or like I would say like
65 is the top speed and then this
controls the tire pressure you can uh
fill them and empty them with this but
don't feel them too fast or you lose the
brakes and also the windsheld
wipers work with
the air so don't use those too much
either and then it's been a long time
but this says that it's the front axle
and I think this is the low speed
gearbox and then somewhere here yeah
it's here you take the ren from the
toolkit shove it there and then there is
like clutch for mechanical
WIS that's pretty like
nice and other than that's that's about
it oh here's the instructions for the
wheels ah yeah here is also for other
stuff okay and my prediction what's
going to
happen there is 10 kilos of TNT
equivalent Dynamite flavor and at least
this whe is going to get get lot of
speed up there and it's going to go
through this and fly I say that this
going to fly like 200
M and then the rest of the truck I think
the frame is not going to be
damaged the front is going to be
slightly broken and the part is going to
be
over and don't try this at home don't
mix like anything that explodes with
anything that is heavy because the heavy
stuff this are going to fly and hit hard
we have concrete bunker that is going to
protect us and it's like 100 m away so
we're going to be okay but don't try
this at
all
okay the dust has settled we wanted to
wait for a while because the dynamite
smoke don't breathe that and definitely
don't breathe chill smoke
I think the half of the truck is
probably made out of asbestos yeah but
now it's over hey h the windshield is
okay how in the hell the window didn't
break yeah traditional finish Dynamite
hole yes look at the truck I have to say
that it's in better shape than I thought
okay and here are the high speed shots
and I can also give my own uh military
expert opinion about this in Finland
yeah we have some like special operators
and N Stuff and everything like our own
Navy Seals and stuff like that but
everybody knows that the most hardcore
and Elite groups in the army they are
the truck drivers so I'm well qualified
to comment this while we look the panda
flying
there yeah but uh I would say that you
could even maybe very slight chance but
you could survive if you reverse into
land mine because the blast
wave is about 5 m from 10 kilos and you
might die might survive but there is
some stuff between so I think the like
cing gives bit protection up from the
blast wave and even the windows didn't
break so that's a great thing you would
definitely sit yourself and would never
hear anything again
and probably get horrifying injuries but
yeah if there are landmines I would
reverse at least if you Val your own
life more than the stuff on the back
back of the truck because that's
definitely going to be like the
wheel flyed so fast through the like
back of the truck that everything that
is there is gone and of course the truck
is stopped that is probably the function
of the land mine but the cupy in itself
that looks pretty well I have to say
that the truck took it this much better
than I thought yeah there has been some
deformation going on because the gearbox
has bunch a hole in the floor so the
like frame of the truck has gone pretty
like Fast up and the cabin has been like
wanting to stay on its
place but like
um most of this is in like really good
shape and you could even repair this
because only like the this corner is
messed up but even the axles and the
like suspension and everything is
okay yeah but we're going to keep this
here like this put it on display and
when people visit this like really nice
show piece to show what happens when
truck drives into anti-tank
mine ah here is the rim and yeah it like
didn't rip off it in like whole
piece the drive actually with it but I
think that like some parts that were
closest to mine those flew really high
yeah everything went really well uh the
mine did its work truck did its work
nobody died we were really safe in the
bunker and even the mess isn't too bad
and all the cameras Sur
so five out of five video and yeah
that's about it if you want to see more
stupid stuff like that subscribe to
channel and maybe give some ideas for us
and that is all for today thank you for
watching and have a nice day
