took forever for this probably like more

than a month so finally I got the hyped

Sim god EA 500 and I want to thank Sim

and I'm gonna go ahead and unbox this

now I am going to be a bit because this

is really hyped and like there are very

few reviews out there that

like very few people dislike this set so

I'm gonna be a little bit you know let's

let's do a little bit of twist I'm gonna

be um no sibling myself meaning I'm

gonna be a little bit skeptic about this

and let's see if it would still wow me

okay so this is the box and you open it

okay nice this way oh there are the

items okay very neat packaging though it

should be the accessories here

and the items wow here are the

same God it's very shiny all right I'm

pretty sure these are scratch magnets

okay they feel heavy uh but they feel

premium though

other accessories I think these are the

cables oh okay there's a carrying case

are there other stuff inside

like the silver nozzles the one that

they're talking about and I think I'd

have the uh I don't know silver and

they're red and black but for some

reason I is this the red one here I get

the black Foams inside and this one is

also black so what does it mean like I

have black and black they were talking

about red nozzles and black nozzles but

seems like I have black and this one's

okay anyhow so I only have the black is

it QC I'm not sure because this is an

unboxing we get to see what's inside if

I end up not having the red nozzle

that's gonna be um it's gonna be sad I

can't compare how they sound or the ear

tips mediums am I excited yeah but my my

excitement was like I don't know I I've

been very anticipating to get this I

actually I was able to I mean I could

audition this from a friend but I chose

not to because I was you know I really

plan to do like an unboxing and I want

everything to be first impression

because it won't be first impression if

I I heard it at that time so yeah these

are the iems they look really shiny

though to do the build is fine so let's

oh fit is really good wow one of the

most comfortable

items I've tried at this price range

maybe together with the gimlet they also

fit very nice too the cables are nice

actually like I thought they have like

they're tangly but it's it's it's

actually nice to to touch

and soft too uh yeah let's start with my

first one Unwell by Matchbox 20.

um I'd say it's not neutral it's

definitely not neutral maybe it's

balanced but I

feel there's a there's a lot of

thickness in in in in the mids and

probably also like the base is more mid

they're not so open because I feel like

probably around

400 to 500 there's an elevation there

that makes everything a bit forward and

thick yeah let's let's let's let's

listen to I'm gonna listen to another

correct playing God treble though yeah

the treble is forward maybe I learned a

lower treble I can I can hear there's

forwardness in there but let's see uh

yeah like the treble here is like

similar to Heart mirrors but maybe

lesser in intensity but I do get that

that Timbre and the symbols let's check

the trouble if like they're peaky or or

something

oh vocals female vocals actually sound

nice yeah like and everything has this

lushness

I I can understand why people like this

because

it's pleasing to listen to let's check

under my umbrella

okay it's a it's a good stage like

everything is forward you know like it's

kind of like

semi-holographic it's not like like this

the sounds are not really encircling

your head it's like it's in front of you

yeah this is yeah a little bit in a

little bit a little bit different in

presentation okay let's try Here Without

You the bass reminded me of how

b-q-e-y-z implements their their tuning

it's similar to that kind of style it's

not bad if you ask me but it definitely

it's not really my preference I prefer

like like a linear Glide from the sub

bass going until 300 Hertz maybe this

one seems like there's a lot of focus

on the mid bass area because there's not

much sub bass I think you get that a lot

of thickness in everything let's try get

lucky yeah I can I can see that this is

like an upgrade of a heart mirror but

yeah

um but vocals doesn't sound as open as I

wanted to

picky my no sibo is you know effective

what do I say

um

that's fun though like this is not

neutral though like well yeah

instruments sound good guitar sound good

I'm listening to Ego death now by

polyphia and I was expecting that the

treble is gonna be aggressive all I get

is like there's the timber is not as

natural as they wanted to very thick the

base

this oh my God I mean they're not really

base head but it's too thick

okay yeah

um I don't know like should I score

for this uh I think I'm gonna graph it

first okay so I'm gonna grab this one

here yeah they actually graph pretty

fine but I am seeing some yeah the upper

mids to travel isn't that smooth it

really is reminiscent of the heart and

mirror yeah I'm not sure what's going on

I'm getting like I don't know like three

to five DB difference in the base with

my right pair but the thing is all the

nozzles I have are Mark black so I don't

know what's going on so maybe it's QC or

I'm unlucky or am I doing something

wrong yeah so I'm gonna try changing the

nozzle to try to match that other pair

because that's a lot I hear five DB

difference come on I mean even 2db has

an effect on EQ let me let me find the

right nozzle for that let me see oh so

yeah that that took quite some time um

I don't know like the first was the

nozzles and like I can't seem to get the

ATP it always falls into 9k so I have to

change the ear tips using my ASLA said

my ear fits because they can fit deeper

and they're secure and I have the graphs

now as you can see and

um yeah the the overall signature is

kind of like balance there's some travel

energy around six to eight K but I don't

really feel that it's peaking similar

with the chew but it has some mid bass

to compensate for it and you get some a

little bit of air

10K I don't really get a lot of what

like treble fatigue from them but for

some reason there's there's lacking

um probably because of the over boosting

and the treble or maybe it's because of

the mid bass they don't sound as open as

I wanted to so um but first i'm gonna

listen to it again because I just I just

changed one of the nozzles and uh you

know maybe it's better now so uh

try them one more time yeah because at

first I didn't get like good sensor

Imaging because of that Under My

Umbrella yeah

um what do I say like okay like I feel

like yeah okay I I get it okay

um final thoughts about this thing no

it's not my found thoughts but it's just

for my first impression

um they're not bad it's a refreshing set

like most sets like last year were tuned

similarly okay like the same base same

same gain same Rye same decline like

same everything and when you hear this

set it sounds new it does sound new and

your brain of course it notices that oh

this is not the usual tuning I am

listening to and um yeah that's that's

probably that's what's happening

um and in a sense this tuning I mean

surprisingly it's not as offensive as I

thought they're actually not that

offensive you know I was thinking it's

like true level offensiveness but no I'm

gonna give my final thoughts in that but

for now

in my final review though but for now

let me just score this one tonality

yeah maybe to know they're not bad

um but I feel like the base could be

cleaner because I get a lot of it

actually even if it's just the mid bass

I get a lot of it so maybe maybe two

um base is yeah base what do I say about

the base base is fine like the quality

of the base is actually good

um so maybe 2.5 mids is yeah the guitar

sounded good

um yeah maybe 2.5 as well trouble

trouble yeah maybe treble is just

average though like it didn't like the

treble presentation much even if it's

they're not even if they're not

aggressive

um I felt like I don't know maybe maybe

I need some time for this so for now

it's like just too average

technicalities yeah a lot of a lot of

sets can actually do this kind of like

um 79 though like they're it's a yeah

it's uh this price range is very

competitive you get the hexa here

there's gimlet here and there are

first impressions like first impression

versus First Impressions I'm gonna

choose

but it might change you know

um they're early you also get a lot of

accessories you can customize this you

know but for now it's uh

the hype I don't know I'm gonna reserve
