Highlights
Approximately 5 million people in Germany suffer from osteoarthritis, a chronic disease characterized by symptoms such as pain, instability, and limited mobility.
Osteoarthritis is a typical wear-and-tear disease affecting joints, and its development is associated with age.
While a healthy diet cannot cure osteoarthritis, it can potentially reduce symptoms.
Two important aspects of diet in managing osteoarthritis are weight reduction and anti-inflammatory nutrition.
Certain foods should be avoided or limited in the diet of those with osteoarthritis, including meat and sausage products high in arachidonic acid.
A high intake of arachidonic acid, an Omega-6 fatty acid, can lead to an unfavorable ratio with Omega-3 fatty acids, potentially exacerbating inflammation in joints.
The German Nutrition Society recommends a maximum of 300g of meat per week to maintain a healthy diet.
Trans fatty acids, often found in processed foods, should be limited due to their potential to promote inflammation and worsen osteoarthritis symptoms.
Alcohol consumption can negatively impact osteoarthritis by affecting the efficacy of pain medications and contributing to weight gain.
Refined carbohydrates, such as white flour products, can lead to rapid spikes in blood sugar and contribute to weight gain, which in turn can worsen joint wear.
Sugary treats and sweets should be consumed in moderation to reduce inflammation and the associated negative effects on osteoarthritis.
Weight reduction is a critical factor in managing osteoarthritis, as excess weight puts additional strain on joints.
Engaging in joint-friendly activities and exercises can help maintain joint health and mobility.
Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and can positively influence joint health.
Trace elements like silicon may have a stabilizing effect on cartilage tissue, with foods such as oats, barley, and rye being potential sources.
Flavonoids, found in fruits and vegetables, may help reduce inflammation and are beneficial for overall health, including joint health.
A multimodal approach to osteoarthritis treatment often includes medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes to improve quality of life and reduce the need for joint replacement surgery.
Maintaining a healthy diet and engaging in regular physical activity are key components of osteoarthritis management.

irgendwelche Wundermittel irgendwas
anderes das ist nicht möglich man kann
die Symptome vielleicht reduzieren aber
nicht heilen Arthrose stattdessen sind
bei der Ernährung zwei Dinge wichtig
nämlich Reduktion des Gewichts durch die
Ernährung und eine entzündungshemmende
Ernährung und ein paar Lebensmittel die
sie aus dieser Perspektive jetzt
unbedingt vermeiden sollen wenn sie
Arthrose schon haben um das Risiko
Arthrose zu bekommen zu reduzieren was
sie da vermeiden sollen das zeige ich
ihn jetzt im
Video hallo mein Name ist Dr Tobias
Weigel und ich möchte auf meinem Kanal
medizinisch verständlich und korrekt
über wichtige Krankheiten
gesundheitsstem aufklären und gerade
natürlich Ernährung Prävention spielt
dabei eine ganz wichtige Rolle
Entzündungen in unseren Gelenken kommen
rotes Fleisch Wurstwaren enthalten viele
entzündungsfördernde Stoffe und können
deshalb zur Verschlechterung ihrer
Symptome beitragen ob man gleich eine
ketogene Diät braucht ist fraglich aber
eine Reduktion denn Stichwort
Arachidonsäure das ist eine Omega6
Fettsäure die vermehrt in
Schweinefleisch in Wurst in vielen
anderen tierischen Produkten enthalten
leberworbrötchen essen will deswegen
sogenannte
Transfettsäuren und vielleicht kennen
Sie auch den Synonymen Begriff gehärtete
Fette Stichwort auch schlechte Öle
transfettsäuen bzw gehärtete Fette
werden oft in der
Lebensmitteltechnologie nämlich benutzt
bzw die entstehen dort und vereinfacht
gesagt werden Öl in eine stabilere Form
gebracht ein ganz klassisches Beispiel
ist die Margarine sollte tatsächlich ja
auch eher verschwinden wenn sie Arthrose
haben denn zum Härten damit das schön
streichzarte Konsistenz ist muss man die
Margarine Härten das Problem bei diesem
Prozess werden die enthaltenen guten
ungesättigten pfettsäuren so verändert
dass sie in ihrer Zusammensetzung dann
den gesättigten Fettsäuren also den
schlechten fettsuen nämlich ähneln und
diese gelten in größeren Mengen als
ungesund weil sie z.B das LDL
Cholesterin im Blut erhöhen können und
auch Auswirkung bei Arthrose haben denn
bezogen auf die Arthrose vermutet man
dass ärtete fette Transfette
Entzündungen fördern und sich somit auf
eine bestehende Erkrankung negativ
auswirken können die Symptome noch
verschlimmern können wussten Sie dass in
der EU ein Grenzwert von 2 g industriell
hergestellten gehärteten Fetten so auf
100 g Fett besteht mein Tipp versuchen
sie ihren Verzehr von derartigen
Produkten von Fertiggerichten auf ein
Minimum zu
reduzieren viele frische Gerichte aus
unverarbeiteten Lebensmitteln lassen
reduzieren Sie Ihren Fastfood Konsum
Genussmittel unter der Lupe Alkohol sie
haben Arthrose und gönnen sich dann
jeden Tag nach der Arbeit ein kühles
Feierabendbierchen das ist für viele
vielleicht Entspannung gehört für sie
vielleicht zu einem schönen Leben
irgendwie mit dazu ist aber schlecht bei
Arthrose und ich denke jedem von ihnen
sind die möglichen Folgen von Alkohol
auf die Gesundheit generell bewusst hört
man immer wieder aber auch bei Arthrose
warum ja tatsächlich deutet sich an dass
Alkohol auch hier nicht gut abschneidet
bei der Arthrose bei bestehender
Erkrankung werden ja auch häufig
Schmerzmittel eingenommen die durch den
Konsum von Alkohol in ihrer Wirkung
beeinträchtigt werden können also
ibpropen dilopinak vielleicht sogar
stark wirksame Opioide
problematisches Lebensmittel was hier in
der Kiste verschwinden sollte bei
Arthrose kann weiß mir sein also alles
was beim bahnhofsbecker gut riecht
Croissant Muffins Brötchen haben einen
hohen Anteil an einfachen Kohlenhydraten
die schnell über den Darm ins Blut
gelangen stichwur ist hier glychäischer
Index und dann steigt sehr schnell der
Blutzuckerspiegel an nachdem sie die
gegessen haben und weizmehl hat einen
glychemischen Index von 85 das ist
wirklich ein hoher Wert und das heißt
dass durch einen hohen Konsum durch
häufiges Essen von Weißbrot von ost von
Muffins von croissons etc vermehrt
Blutzuckerspitzen auftreten immer wieder
auftreten und durch diese
Blutzuckerschwankungen immer hoch runter
in Verbindung mit der recht hohen
Kaloriendichte natürlich steigt auf
längere Sicht ihr Risiko für Übergewicht
neben anderen Erkrankung wie Diabetes
Insulinresistenz etc und die
blutzuckerschwankung führen zu einem
geringeren Sättigungsgefühl was uns zum
dauernden snacken verleitet wir essen
immer wieder nehmen immer wieder
Kalorien zu uns und diese Mehrbelastung
Mehrgewicht wiederum fördert den
Verschleiß ihrer Gelenke gute
Alternativen können z.B sein
Vollkornmehl Pseudogetreide auch
kichererbsmehl z.B es wird zudem
diskutiert ob Weißmehl eine
entzündungsfördernde Wirkung hat also
Entzündungsprozesse was wiederum einen
negativen Einfluss auf die Arthrose
haben kann vom erhöhten Risiko für
Übergewicht ganz zu schweigen je mehr
sie wiegen desto mehr belasten sie die
Gelenke reduzieren Sie deshalb nach und
nach ihren Konsum und ersetzen Sie einen
Teil Ihrer Liebsten ungesunden Snacks
letztlich vermeiden Gewichtsreduktion
also schlechte Eigenschaften sind stark
reduzieren dauerhaft dann sollten Sie
neben der gesunden Ernährung auch auf
Bewegung achten in ihren Alltag achten
entzündliche Lebensmittel welche man
vermeiden sollte worauf man achten
sollte das wissen wir jetzt jetzt noch
mal ein paar Tipps wie man eine
gelenkfreundliche Ernährung machen kann
was man sozusagen auf der Habenseite
verbuchen kann und ganz vorne mit dabei
sind hier die Omega3 fettsoren ich habe
gerade schon über die Omega6 fettsäuung
gesprochen davon sollte man weniger
bewegungseinschränken deshalb immer an
