a very easy way to see santorini with

minimal expenses is to come during the

off-season between november and march

but i'm sure that you guys would rather

come to santorini when the sun is

shining and the sea is warm so for the

sake of this video let's focus on the

summer season and let's start with the

accommodation this is definitely the

area in which you can save the most

because hotels tinted pretty pricey here

around 150 euros a night for a basic

double room or 400 a night if you want

the swimming pool with the view which is

definitely not cheap so if you're on a

budget you can't afford any of those

things and i have two alternatives for

you one hostels which will cost you

around 15 euros a night and option two

if you want slightly more comfort or

privacy than in a hostel you can also go

to a cheap hotel room because the

cheapest hotels on the island are

actually around 50 euros a night for a

double room which is not too bad the

best way to find those cheap rooms is to

go on booking.com and sort the hotels by

price very easy just keep in mind though

that if you're planning to visit

santorini by bus it's a good idea to

look for a hotel which is within walking

distance of the main bus station of fira

fidel the capital which means that if

you're staying in fire you can be

anywhere you want on the island in less

than 45 minutes but if you don't stay in

friday every time you'll have to take a

bus two feet and then change buses go

somewhere else which will make you lose

a lot of time but also money because one

ticket is for one bus so a second bus

means second ticket and that's why i was

telling you to find a hotel within

walking distance of the bus station of

obviously is to go to the supermarket

and just buy whatever and make yourself

and secondly we have the bakeries

because just so you know grace has the

specificity to have bakeries with much

more savory stuff than sweet stuff so

bakeries and race are not just for

breakfast but easily also for lunch and

dinner you will find all sorts of pies

stuffed with cheese vegetables and meats

and those will usually cost around two

euros for one now regarding restaurants

here are some very valuable tips that

can definitely make you save money one

don't eat in yeah it's so much more

expensive than the rest of the island

two try in general to avoid the places
