the whole

play00:21

idea the whole picture or journey of my

play00:25

transplant

play00:26

um rejection process because the first

play00:28

video was kind of like a summary but

play00:31

this video I'm going to be hopping into

play00:32

details what I was feeling and my

play00:35

symptoms along with it so without

play00:37

further Ado let's hop into this video

play00:39

but quickly let me introduce myself for

play00:41

anybody that is new here my name is

play00:42

Cindy and here on my channel I share my

play00:44

kidney transplant Journey as well as

play00:46

travel Vlogs lifestyle videos workout

play00:48

videos and so much more so if you are

play00:50

new definitely consider subscribing now

play00:52

let's begin

play00:54

[Music]

play01:03

good

play01:04

[Music]

play01:17

so like I mentioned in my previous video

play01:20

you guys saw basically the whole summary

play01:22

or a quick summary of what I went

play01:24

through I want to hop into the details

play01:26

of like exactly what I was feeling prior

play01:29

and then during the treatment of me

play01:31

being in the hospital and then after

play01:33

till what I'm feeling now so in the

play01:35

beginning of my process

play01:37

um what I was feeling was just a

play01:39

tiredness and overall tiredness and

play01:42

nauseous so those were the two main

play01:45

symptoms the tiredness I felt very

play01:47

sleepy I felt like I didn't have energy

play01:49

to do much but one thing is that I

play01:52

continued to push myself even the day

play01:53

before going into the hospital I

play01:55

actually even played a soccer game

play01:56

hustled sprinted and did everything so I

play02:00

was like a tired but it was more like of

play02:02

a

play02:03

ah what is the word it's kind of like no

play02:06

motivation for anything

play02:08

um but I would still push myself but

play02:09

honestly I thought it was just tiredness

play02:12

from being uh work at the title company

play02:14

as well as doing real estate being a

play02:16

single mother plus church and socials

play02:19

you know different things family you

play02:21

know I thought it was just an

play02:22

overwhelming tiredness and that's

play02:25

honestly what it felt like also the

play02:27

nauseousness I would only feel it when I

play02:30

went hours without eating and my body

play02:31

was like hungry and I wasn't feeding

play02:33

myself then the nauseousness would begin

play02:36

and once I would eat something it would

play02:38

go away completely so that was prior to

play02:41

when I got into the hospital and they

play02:42

started the treatment that's where I

play02:44

really went downhill I was not expecting

play02:47

it to be as hard as it was and when I

play02:50

was in the hospital I cried so much and

play02:52

this is me being 100 transparent I'm not

play02:55

gonna have any filter with you guys

play02:57

um when it comes to anything with my

play02:59

health because I'm here to be an example

play03:02

for you guys and to motivate you guys

play03:03

and this is not an easy journey I think

play03:05

we all know that and I would be lying if

play03:07

I said that it was smooth and that I

play03:10

didn't shut any tears that everything

play03:12

was great because reality hit and I was

play03:16

broken I felt so sad you know the fact

play03:19

that I had gotten to that point and then

play03:21

on top of that everything that I was

play03:23

feeling emotionally plus physically and

play03:26

physically I was just feeling very tired

play03:29

doggies they're trying to get in here

play03:30

but they make way too much noise when

play03:32

I'm trying to record so I went into the

play03:34

hospital when 140 pounds because that's

play03:37

my usual weight right by day two I was

play03:39

weighing 153 pounds so I had gained 13

play03:43

pounds in fluid weight in just a matter

play03:45

of two days why because they were

play03:47

pumping fluid after fluid plus

play03:49

medication and the medication had me

play03:51

with nauseousness tiredness headache

play03:55

very weak abdominal pain I felt very

play03:58

swollen so I was just feeling like sick

play04:01

I had no appetite just everything was

play04:04

just this is when I really felt like

play04:06

sick I just felt everything just coming

play04:07

downhill and it was just bad and it was

play04:09

just

play04:10

I this is where I began to hurt you know

play04:13

like spiritually mentally physically I

play04:16

was just hurting okay I was like down

play04:19

um didn't have too much of a motivation

play04:21

for anything else

play04:22

um at this point I was just so

play04:24

traumatized by my work I ended up

play04:26

quitting my job at the title company

play04:29

um and I was like you know what I'm

play04:30

gonna focus on real estate I'm not gonna

play04:32

work the same I'm just gonna be at home

play04:33

be it stay a hot mom and just pay

play04:36

attention like put all my focus in my

play04:38

daughter raising my daughter and taking

play04:40

care of my health and this is where my

play04:42

mind is during this time I'm just

play04:44

feeling very like hopeful like to get

play04:48

out because I'm like okay once I get out

play04:49

I want this this and I'm gonna do this

play04:52

this that I'm gonna like take care of my

play04:54

health I'm gonna be there for my

play04:55

daughter I'm gonna you know focus more

play04:57

on me versus working and hustling

play04:59

because things come and go right like my

play05:02

health is

play05:03

above everything if I'm not okay if I'm

play05:06

not healthy and strong how am I gonna be

play05:07

able to raise my daughter and that was

play05:09

one of the things that was very like

play05:11

conflicting within me and I was just

play05:13

like why why work so much

play05:17

to have something that I'm not even

play05:20

gonna be healthy enough to enjoy it if

play05:21

I'm not taking care of myself so

play05:23

everything was just

play05:25

I was in a like I mean how they say like

play05:28

I'm in the valley right and you're

play05:30

walking through the valley but the Lord

play05:32

is still in this but the Lord is still

play05:35

there while you're in the valley and

play05:36

there's still Grace and hope and that's

play05:39

what I was trying to stay focused on

play05:42

um but my body was feeling very sick so

play05:44

I was feeling all those symptoms and

play05:46

then on top of that

play05:49

um the weight gain and then I started

play05:51

the plasma For Recess did I feel

play05:53

anything when I was doing plasmapheresis

play05:56

to be honest I kind of felt like

play05:57

dialysis I had the catheter place and

play06:00

everything and it felt very much like it

play06:02

just not as tiring as on your body like

play06:05

you know after dialysis you feel like

play06:07

drained like you don't have energy for

play06:09

nothing okay so plasmaphoresis I just

play06:13

had like a headache a huge headache I

play06:16

had no appetite I felt very nauseous I

play06:18

felt lots of headache but a nurse told

play06:21

me to drink a lot of water because that

play06:22

would help my

play06:24

um you know headache so I was just

play06:26

chugging down water and basically all I

play06:28

had was water for a good couple of days

play06:32

um by the way by like day three of me

play06:34

being in the hospital I got constipated

play06:36

from all the medication they were giving

play06:37

me so I had asked for a stool softener

play06:40

they gave me and by like the next day I

play06:43

went to the bathroom and guys I'm gonna

play06:46

be TMI with you guys I'm gonna be

play06:48

transparent I'm gonna share it all with

play06:50

you guys I was feeling so sick I went to

play06:52

the bathroom I thought I was gonna pass

play06:54

out because I could not use the bathroom

play06:55

and I wasn't gonna strain myself I

play06:57

wasn't gonna push I was like okay if I'm

play06:58

gonna go to the bathroom then I'm gonna

play06:59

go I'm not gonna over like I'm not gonna

play07:02

hurt myself trying to go to the bathroom

play07:04

so I didn't I just was there you know

play07:07

trying to do my thing thankfully I did

play07:09

use the bathroom but then the following

play07:12

day I had diarrhea

play07:14

so I didn't take the stool softener and

play07:17

I thought you know the diarrhea is going

play07:18

to go away by like day five still had

play07:21

diarrhea day six still had diarrhea by

play07:23

the way I was in the hospital for 10

play07:25

days and I had diarrhea the rest of the

play07:27

days on top of that I had diarrhea the

play07:30

month like a whole month after I was

play07:33

discharged I tried everything I tried

play07:35

changing the way I eat I tried eating

play07:37

things that like were gonna help me like

play07:40

clog myself up I guess I even had like

play07:43

this rice water thing nothing helped the

play07:46

only thing that kind of helped were like

play07:48

green juices I know that made sound

play07:49

strange because I know those are good

play07:51

for detoxing but every time I would take

play07:52

it like it really did help it would

play07:54

settle down like my stomach for a little

play07:56

bit I also tried anti-diarrhea pills it

play07:59

didn't work they were like oh maybe and

play08:01

by the way nobody could figure out why I

play08:03

was having diarrhea they were like maybe

play08:05

it's the microfinolate the dose is too

play08:08

high and I was just thinking in my mind

play08:09

like I've been on this dose for the

play08:11

longest so it can't be that I also was

play08:14

take magnesium

play08:16

and they said maybe that could cause it

play08:18

but they were giving me the slow

play08:20

um acting magnesium which doesn't

play08:22

suppose it doesn't cause diarrhea so it

play08:25

was just kind of unknown but honestly I

play08:27

think it was just the medication maybe

play08:28

my body was just trying to get rid of

play08:30

everything

play08:31

um but I had it for a full month guys

play08:35

I had lost soul remember how I mentioned

play08:37

that I had gained like all that weight

play08:39

on fluid so what let's say 13 pounds and

play08:42

flew up like

play08:43

after they stopped the fluid by like

play08:45

they day three I had dropped all the way

play08:49

down to 137 pounds past my healthy

play08:53

weight which is 140 so I had dropped

play08:56

what is that 16 pounds in a matter of a

play08:59

couple of days

play09:01

yeah so at this point I'm weak

play09:05

not eating I have headaches I have

play09:09

diarrhea I could barely walk up and down

play09:13

I was so I felt skinny and I felt like I

play09:16

had no energy to do anything I couldn't

play09:19

I was so out of breath I look like sick

play09:22

I look bony I just did not look healthy

play09:25

and honestly I went into the hospital

play09:28

looking good you know looking

play09:31

um like healthy and fit I came out of

play09:34

that hospital looking bony until this

play09:36

day I haven't been able to gain the

play09:38

weight that I lost

play09:40

um which is basically like three pounds

play09:42

which I don't mind to be honest but and

play09:44

I've been eating I've been eating a lot

play09:46

but like healthy I'm working out which

play09:49

I'm really happy about

play09:51

and so sorry let's backtrack because I'm

play09:54

kind of like hopping forward so after a

play09:56

month the diarrhea finally went away and

play09:59

I had no more symptoms except one which

play10:02

was the nauseousness and that I would

play10:05

only feel when I would get really hungry

play10:07

and I didn't have food but the minute I

play10:10

ate something it would go away so it was

play10:12

like very strange it was kind of like a

play10:13

hunger nauseousness feeling that I would

play10:16

get and then I would eat something and I

play10:17

would be fine so now

play10:20

um if the nauseousness went away roughly

play10:22

around this month in the beginning of

play10:23

January I started to eat on a very clean

play10:26

uh like Diet I was doing the Daniel Fast

play10:30

and I think honestly that helped me a

play10:32

lot

play10:32

um because I haven't felt nauseous since

play10:34

the beginning of January I'm not on it

play10:36

right now but I have been making smarter

play10:39

choices while I'm eating and like I

play10:41

mentioned in the previous video I'm

play10:42

trying to go vegan so we're taking it

play10:44

one step at a time as I tried to do so

play10:48

um but I am trying to get fit I'm trying

play10:51

to get a good healthy body I am trying

play10:53

to maintain

play10:56

my weight I guess you could say but burn

play11:00

fat so I want to gain muscle on my arms

play11:02

and my legs

play11:04

um my basically my lower body and

play11:06

honestly who doesn't want to get fit

play11:07

right who doesn't want to get healthy so

play11:10

my goal my Fitness training goal is

play11:12

getting you know getting fit getting

play11:14

healthy which I'm gonna make a video

play11:17

about it

play11:18

um pretty soon where I'm going to share

play11:20

with you guys like what I do for working

play11:22

out because I don't just go to the gym

play11:25

I'm doing that but I also play soccer

play11:27

which I'm getting my cardio I'm burning

play11:30

lots of like fat when I'm doing that

play11:32

because it's a lot of running a lot of

play11:34

sprinting and I think I'm gonna Vlog

play11:36

tomorrow and I'm gonna go play soccer

play11:38

with the guys so I'll probably record

play11:39

that for you guys so you guys can see a

play11:41

little bit what it's about

play11:43

um but yeah I work out at the gym

play11:46

I play soccer I feel good now like now

play11:50

I'm feeling good I'm taking my

play11:51

medications on time I'm eating better

play11:53

I'm working out I'm working less and I'm

play11:56

just focusing more on myself and my

play11:58

daughter so yeah

play12:00

um thank you guys so much for all the

play12:01

amazing comments that I got from you

play12:03

guys I was honestly not expecting that I

play12:06

was being so hard on myself you know

play12:08

we're our own biggest critics sometimes

play12:10

and I was doing that I wasn't giving

play12:12

myself any Grace especially when I was

play12:14

in the hospital and then even like being

play12:17

so open with you guys that I was like

play12:18

talking to my sister I was like man like

play12:21

I know people are gonna be like you know
