face Trials of many kinds because you
know that the testing of your faith
produces
perseverance think of The Heroes of
Faith in the Bible each of them faced
daunting challenges but they also
experienced incredible victories because
they trusted in God Moses led the
Israelites out of Egypt Against All Odds
Hebrews 11: 24 25 speaks of Moses's
Faith by faith Moses when he grown up
refused to be known as the son of
Pharaoh's daughter he chose to be
mistreated along with the people of God
rather than to enjoy the fleeting
pleasures of sin David a young Shepherd
defeated Goliath David said to the
Philistine you come against me with
sword and Spear and Javelin but I come
against you in the name of the Lord
Almighty the god of the armies of Israel
whom you have
defied as it is written in 1 Samuel

and we know that in all things God works
for the good of those who love him who
have been called according to his
purpose for my thoughts are not your
thoughts neither are your ways my ways
declares the Lord as the heavens are
higher than the earth so are my ways
higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts as it
says in Isaiah 55:
8-9 Lewis speaks of how God often uses
difficulties to bring us to New
Beginnings and direct us to where we
will truly find happiness and purpose
God who made us knows what we are and
that our happiness lies in him yet we
will not seek it as long as he leaves us
any other resource where it it can
plausibly be looked for while what we
call our own life remains agreeable we
will not surrender it to him what then
can God do in our interests but make our
own life less agreeable to us and take
away the plausible sources of false
happiness excerpt from the book the
problem of
pain when you look back you will see his
hand in in every detail guiding you
protecting you and preparing you for the
blessings to come be open to the new
things that God wants to do in your life
he is a god of surprises and delights in
giving good gifts to his children as it
says in Matthew
7:1 if you then though you are evil know
how to give good gifts to your children
how much more will your father in heaven
give good gifts to those who ask him
maybe he is calling you to a new job a
new relationship or a new ministry maybe
he is asking you to step out of your
comfort zone and take a leap of faith
whatever it is know that he has equipped
you with everything you need to succeed
Psalm 27:1 encourages us the Lord is my
light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear
the Lord is the strong stronghold of my
life of whom shall I be afraid you are
capable you are strong and you are ready
additionally remember to show love and
kindness to those around you as you are
blessed be a blessing to others as it
says in Luke
6:38 give and it will be given to you A
good measure pressed down shaken
together and running over will be poured
into your lap
for with the measure you use it will be
measured to you share your time your
resources and your love
freely There Is No Greater Joy than
giving and serving acts
20:35 confirms this in everything I did
I showed you that by this kind of hard
work we must help the weak remembering
the words the Lord Jesus himself said it
is more blessed to give than to receive
receive by doing this you reflect God's
love to a needy world and become a
living testimony of his grace finally
let your faith be
unshakable stand firm on God's promises

lives of your loved ones as it says in
Matthew

but my words will never pass away
declare his promises is boldly for his
word is alive and Powerful Hebrews
4:12 for the word of God is alive and
active sharper than any double-edged
sword it penetrates even to dividing
Soul and Spirit joints and Marrow it
judges the thoughts and attitudes of the
heart when doubts and fears come combat
them with the truth of God's word as it
says in Romans 8: 37 no in all these
things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us his promises
are your shield and your strength it is
God who arms me with strength and keeps
my way secure Psalm

the power of perseverance and the
importance of standing firm in our faith
as it says in 1 Corinthians
15 verse 58 therefore my dear brothers
and sisters stand firm let nothing move
you always give yourselves fully to the
work of the Lord because you know that
your labor in the Lord is not in vain
there will be times when the path seems

depends on each one to accept him in our
hearts Lewis says that we are like
imperfect houses and that God with your
permission

starts to fix your internal and external
flaws but there will be times when he
will make painful
Transformations all
because he does not want us to be just
small houses but a palace where he will
enter and dwell if you allow it now let
us also be aware of the importance of
prayer prayer is our direct line of
communication with God as it says in
Philippians 4: 6 do not be anxious about
anything but in every
situation by prayer and petition with
Thanksgiving present your requests to
God it is in prayer that we can pour out
our hearts to him seek his wisdom and
receive his peace as it says in Matthew
7:7 ask and it will be given to you seek
and you will find knock and the door
will be open to you so make prayer a
daily practice start your day seeking
his guidance and end it by thanking him
for his faithfulness as it says in 1
Thessalonians 5:
178 pray continually give thanks in all
circumstances for this is God's will for
you in Christ
Jesus in all situations whether joyful
or challenging Turn To God In Prayer
prayer he hears every word and values
every moment you spend with him this is
confirmed in 1 John 5
verse4 this is the confidence we have in
approaching God that if we ask anything
according to his will he hears
us as you navigate this new season allow
God to transform you from the inside out
this is a time of inner growth as much
as it is of external achievements as it
says in Romans
12:2 do not conform to the pattern of
this world but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind then you will be
able to test and approve what God's will
is his good pleasing and perfect
will let the Holy Spirit work in your
heart shaping it to the likeness of
Christ as it says in 2 Corinthians
3:18 and and we all who with unveiled
faces contemplate the Lord's Glory are
being transformed into his image with
ever increasing Glory which comes from
the Lord who is the spirit be open to
his correction and guidance because the
Lord disciplines those he loves as a
father the son he Delights in Proverbs
3:12 let his love fill you overflow from
you and touch everyone around you your
life is a testimony of God's grace and
power and through you others can come to
know his love as it says in Matthew 5:
16 in the same way let your light shine
before others that they may see your
good deeds and glorify your father in
Heaven in this new season embrace the
unknown with faith often we wish to have
everything figured out to know know all
the details of God's plan for us but
faith means trusting in Him even when we
do not have all the answers as it says
in Hebrews 11 verse 1 now Faith is
confidence in what we hope for an
assurance about what we do not
see it means stepping out of the boat
like Peter and walking on water keeping
our eyes fixed on Jesus as it says in
Matthew 14:
29 come he said then Peter got down out
of the boat walked on the water and came
toward Jesus when the storms of life
arise focus on the one who calms the
Seas as we read in Mark 4 verse 39 he
got up rebuked the wind and said to the
waves quiet be still then the wind died
down and it was completely calm his love
will carry you
I am the vine you are the branches if
you remain in me and I in you you will
bear much fruit apart from me you can do
nothing John
