Transcripts
hello i'm dr marianne teitelbaum
and today i'm here to talk about milk is
it a nectar or is it a poison
because all articles blogs videos and
books call milk a poison
they say it causes autoimmune diseases
in cancer
ayurveda on the other hand calls it a
nectar the most
nourishing of all the foods capable of
making ogis immediately
whereas all other foods take a month
we'll talk more about ogis a little bit
later
so why the disconnect let's go all the
way back to digestion and examine this a
little further
when food comes into the body it travels
through a channel
the esophagus stomach intestines but as
it goes through that channel it must
break down into smaller and smaller
particles
to come out of that channel and absorb
into the bloodstream
now if the food is too heavy it can turn
into what's called armor
which is partially digested food that's
now stuck in that channel
which then rots and ferments and becomes
what's called amivicio
the word bishop means poison thus
it becomes a highly reactive acidic
toxin
that can pave the way for cancer and
autoimmune diseases
remember the inside of the cells and
people with autoimmune diseases in
cancer
is acidic it needs to be alkaline
so you must first fix digestion and
second
have good quality milk taken in the
correct way
let's take a look at digestion first in
the gut we have friendly bacteria that
break the food down into very small
particles for absorption into the
bloodstream
but antibiotics birth control pills
immunizations steroids acid reflux
medicines and many other pharmaceuticals
destroy this very delicate friendly
bacteria
the gut and the liver are considered the
seat of digestion
and so for digestion to run smoothly
both have to function prop
properly but nowadays the liver is so
toxic from so many pharmaceuticals
going through it as well as toxins in an
impure diet
a fast food diet when the liver is
cranky from holding on to too many of
these toxins
instead of processing the food correctly
when it comes in
it has a temper tantrum on the food
oxidizes it and turns it into amivicio
immediately
this is what causes reactions to foods
food sensitivities
food allergies that you hear so much now
about that nowadays
so you must fix the gut first using
probiotics
medicinal lassies buttermilk homemade
yogurt
and in all my patients i have to use
various herbs to clean the liver
cool down the heat in the liver
regenerate the liver cells and bring the
intelligence back to the liver
so that it can process the foods
correctly and turn them
not into ammo bishop but into good
intelligent food that nourishes every
cell in your body
now let's take a look at milk
both the best quality milk and how to
take it in the correct way
first there's the homogenization issue
when you milk a cow and let the milk sit
the cream rises to the top this is the
kind of milk you want it's called
non-homogenized
xanthine oxidase is a large molecule
it's a protein
enzyme that's too large to be digested
and absorbed into our bloodstream
so it passes right through the digestive
tract and comes
out the other end which is a good thing
but when the milk is homogenized it
breaks the xanthine oxidase down into
very small
molecules so that it can now absorb
directly into the bloodstream and cause
heart attacks
in some susceptible people
now the grass-fed cows contain omega-3s
which is very good for your health
whereas the grain-fed cows milk contains
omega-6s which causes diabetes
cancer metabolic syndrome
ninety percent of the cows in this
country are from very large dairies and
they're eating grains
the smaller dairies give their cows
grass
a2 milk is lacking a protein that some
people find
very difficult to digest this is why
many people
who think they have lactose intolerance
find they can in fact
digest this type of milk also a2 milk is
easier to digest
and promotes the production of
glutathione
the body's master antioxidant
you also want to drink whole milk
because the fat in the milk delivers the
calcium into the bones
if you drink low fat or skim milk your
bones can suffer
as the calcium comes in one end of the
channel and out the other
now let's talk about how to take milk in
the correct way
first it must always be boiled and
always cook it with cardamom pods
cinnamon stick and a pinch or two of
turmeric
the cardamom helps the digestion of the
protein in the milk
while the cinnamon helps the sugar in
the milk
turmeric is extremely good for your
health but it is fat soluble
so simmering the turmeric in the milk
helps in delivering the turmeric into
your cells
keep the milk separate from a meal as it
absorbs instantly into the bloodstream
if food is there it could prevent the
absorption of the milk
as it waits in line to be digested and
it rots and ferments in your stomach
again forming an acidic toxin
milk only mixes well with grains dried
fruits and nuts
so whereas you could have a bowl of
oatmeal with nuts and raisins
you wouldn't want to have it with fresh
fruits or you wouldn't want to take
a glass of milk with vegetables protein
chicken
it'll upset your stomach now if cow's
milk is too heavy for you
try diluting it with 50 water that would
be much better than buying it
automatically
low-fat where they've had to process it
or skim milk
is even worse or you could try goat's
milk it's always a2
and it has 10 times less fat than the
cow's milk
and as a side note it can be taken if
you are congested
whereas cow's milk is somewhat more
heavy and not recommended if you have
congestion in the sinuses or the lungs
goat's milk is very good for the lungs
and is used to treat infection in the
lungs such as tb
and many other infections you could also
make almond milk by soaking one cup of
almonds with their skin on
overnight in a bowl of spring water in
the morning peel the skin
put them in a blender with enough water
to cover it by about two inches
and blend it for about three minutes
strain it through a nut milk bag that's
organic
and drink it immediately don't put it in
the refrigerator for the next day it'll
oxidize and go bad
many people can tolerate milk again
after both
fixing their digestion and taking milk
in the correct way
so here are some of the benefits of
drinking milk this is why i don't give
up so easily if the patient
can't take milk or doesn't take it at
all
milk makes ogis immediately
oges is the end product of digestion
it's a compound
that's formed after all seven tissues
have been nourished
so there are seven tissues in the body
which are
the blood plasma the blood muscle
fat bone bone marrow and the
reproductive fluids
once the food we eat comes out of the
digestive tract it absorbs into
the seven tissues spending three to five
days in each tissue before moving on to
the next
thus the food you eat today won't be
able to nourish all seven tissues
until about a month from now the only
exception to this is milk
it nourishes all seven tissues in one
day
at the end of the seventh tissue oges is
formed and
oges gives you great strength immunity
to diseases
a great healthy radiant glow and it is
the neurotransmitters and the hormones
this is why so many of the patients i
saw who were infertile
were able to have children because the
female hormones
that make you fertile are made out of
cholesterol and they weren't having
enough
milk which is one of the best sources of
cholesterol in the diet
so milk is then seen as a nectar the
most
important food as it creates oges
immediately
this is why babies can live off of it
exclusively for the first year of life
and this is why so many people have
reported back to me
that they feel that reintroducing milk
back into their diet
has given them their life back that
they've been avoiding it for so many
years
and that first sip of that steaming hot
milk
with cinnamon turmeric and cardamom
infused into it
just felt so nourishing and nurturing on
so many levels
from that point on they were able to
regain their strength and stamina again
now if you haven't had milk in a while
you have to slowly reintroduce it
a little milk cooked into oatmeal with a
lot of water
slowly adding more milk and less water
until you have all milk
if you take the time and effort to fix
your digestion
find good quality milk and take it as
outlined here
you will avoid thinning of your bones
and continue to feel great strength
as you age my teacher and mentor from
india by rama kant mishra who sat with
me for 20 years imparting this vedic
wisdom to me had a saying
that cold milk is like a poison to the
body while warm milk is like a nectar
now you know why cold milk forms alma in
the gut
then eventually rots and ferments and
turns into amivitia
a highly reactive and acidic poison
which can cause cancer and autoimmune
diseases
but don't make the mistake that everyone
else is making calling milk the poison
because if you fix your digestion and
take milk correctly
it becomes a nectar filled with all the
nutrients to keep you alive
even if you were to stick to eat any
other food
so i hope this video has given you more
insight
into this controversial topic and hope
you will reconsider
slowly adding milk back into your diet i
think you'll be glad you did
take care
