Hello everyone from Mirko, today we see the METEOR 75 PRO,
BETAFPV WHOOP class micro drone,
if you want to buy it you can find the link in the description.
During the purchase phase we can choose which receiver to equip our model with:
ExpressLRS 2.4Ghz, FRSKY or TBS.
I chose the EXPRESSLRS version, let's immediately see what we find inside the package.
We have two batteries, a charger, some spare propellers, a USB cable, a screwdriver and some accessories.
Finally we have our BETAFPV METEOR 75 PRO.
As for the batteries we have two 1S BETAFPV 550mAh.
The connector is a BT2.0.
The charger has two channels and can also be used to check the charge of the LiPo,
in this case we use the TEST port.
To recharge the batteries we use the USB TYPE-C cable that is supplied with us.
The propellers are 45mm 3-bladed GEMFAN propellers,
as I said, a spare set is provided in addition to those already mounted on the drone.
These accessories are not strictly necessary and are used to customize the drone,
if you want to use them they must be placed on top of the canopy.
Once assembled the final result will be this.
The METEOR 75 PRO has the classic white and blue BETAFPV color,
but if we prefer we can purchase spare frames to customize our WHOOP.

Let's now move on to the specifications of this drone.
The METEOR 75 PRO is an analog WHOOP class drone,
designed to be used with 1S LiPo.
The motors are BETAFPV 1102 22000KV,
they are therefore optimized for 1S batteries.
The crankshaft is 1.5mm,
take this into account if you consider getting replacement propellers.
The FPV camera is a BETAFPV C03 Micro Camera.
The sensor is a 1/3" CMOS.
The resolution is 1200TVL.
The ratio is 4:3 with NTSC system.
The lens is 2.1mm with a 160° FOV.
Moving on to the video transmitter, we have a BETAFPV M03 5.8G VTX.
There are 48 channels divided into bands A, B, E, F and R.
The power can be adjusted and we can choose between 25, 100, 200 or 400mW.
All configurations can be carried out via SMARTAUDIO directly from Betaflight or radio control via the viewer's OSD.
Now we come to the Flight Controller, we have a BETAFPV F4 1S 5A board.
The processor is an F411 and the Gyroscope is a BMI270;
An 8MB FLASH memory is available for tuning via black box.
8mb is not much, it must be said however that Betafpv has already created its own PID,
so the black box is not of much use.
Moving on to the ESCs, BETAFPV provides us with a 5A BLHELI_S with BLUEJAY Firmware already installed.
As you can see, the RPM FILTERs are activated and configured,
so from this point of view we don't have to do anything else.
This board has integrated ExpressLRS receiver via serial connection,
it can therefore be updated without problems with your PASSWORD via the ExpressLRS configurator,
I would say immediately to see how to do it.
Let's download the expresslrs configurator from this Github page, I'll leave the link in the description.
Once the configurator has been downloaded and installed we can start it.
Here we always choose the latest available version.
In DEVICE CATEGORY we choose BETAFPV 2.4GHz.
In DEVICE we choose BETAFPV 2.4GHz AIO RX.
As a method for Flash we select BetaflightPassthrough.
We can also leave all the options below default,
the only thing to enter is the BIND password which must be the same one you used in the module.
At this point we can do FLASH.

Very well, after seeing the features of the METOR 75 PRO and updating the receiver, we can go out for a flight test.
And here we are at the flight test, those who follow me know that I'm not a big fan of 1S micros but in this case I have to change my mind.
The meteor 75 PRO turns out to be a very agile and agile drone,
despite being powered by a single cell battery.
Even though today was a little windy to use this whoop, I have to say that the micro performed equally well.
In flight you can feel the lightness of the model,
which allows long accelerations and filp and roll with rather high RATES.
In fact, for this test I used RATES very similar to those I use on my 5 inch freestyle.
The VTX is good, even if I didn't move too far away the signal always remained clean, with very minimal interference.
The component that thrilled me the least is the FPV camera.
In fact I found the colors slightly dull, and I would have preferred a video with a little more saturation.
In general, however, I would recommend this drone to you,
if you are looking for a 1S analog whhoop, this METEOR75 PRO is a choice to absolutely take into consideration.
