find on Marketplace and not only is it

this is the one as you can see there's a

massive big jet engine hanging out the

back of this VN commodor and I thought I

really wanted this car and I thought

this would be the coolest thing ever and

I'd be driving it around going the shop

to get milk but turns out I'm scared of

this car let me show you let me show you

what we're working with

here so this this car is a Rolls-Royce

well it's a VN Commodore but the engine

is a Rolls-Royce jet engine makes

roughly 3,000 horsepower has been

released in a a bunch of jets over the

years and uh from training Jets to

unmanned Jets to you know all the above

and this engine has the ability to go

supersonic so if you don't know what

supersonic is it's pretty fast so some

mad scientists over the years thought

you know what what we're going to do is

we're going to Chuck this engine in a VN

Commodore and

well I don't know who this guy was or

what he did for a job but I think it's

probably the greatest creation ever

St my as you can see the jet engine runs

from the front of the car to the rear of

the car it's got a couple of levers and

some knobs which I haven't quite figured

out what they all do yet but all I know

is it throws flames and makes a lot of

noise we're planning on doing a lot more

to this car we want to improve prove the

safety that's probably Paramount at the

start upgrade things like the brake the

paint body kit Wheels stuff to make the

car a lot safer than what it currently

is you know you're in trouble when you

go to a car meet someone's like pop your

Bonnet

well there it is just a wire cage

sucking in 3,000 horsepowers worth of

air and when we add the After

Burner this has the potential to go to

6,000 horsepower which is very silly

because who the hell needs 6,000

horsepower in a jetp

VN I'm not sure but we're going to do it

anyway so apparently this thing here is

the oil so the oil what the oil does is

feeds all the bearings inside the motor

keeps the motor from failing so we

probably should definitely check that

oil level and make sure we don't run out

of oil it's probably a good thing

there's some sort of Mount engine mount

stuff going on here looks looks like

it's all there looks like it's ready for

3,000 horsepower maybe not Kirk race

seat you know nothing but the best you

know when you go on 300 miles an hour

you definitely want to feel safe in your

Kirk it doesn't have a seat belt but you

have a Kirky so whatever that means once

again the era of steering wheels I had

this exact steering wheel in my vs

Commodore U but this is translated into

the VN a lot of early commodor run this

very top of steering wheel makes me feel

at home makes me feel a little bit safer

when I'm cruising down at Rocket speed

and I've got something famili to grip

onto so normally where the rear seat

would go we've got a box and basically

the box says danger high voltage and

I've been instructed not to touch that

so they said don't definitely don't

touch this thing don't do not touch this

one apparently that has enough power to

kill multiple humans so we're going to

avoid touching that box as I said I'm

not really sure what it does I just know

it's it's dangerous don't touch it as

you can see the interior is pretty nice

weight reduction we're all about speed

light is fast remember

now possibly the sketchiest part of this

car well obviously apart from the uh the

jet engine is the fuel tank so the fuel

tank sits where the passenger would and

as you see they've upgraded the interior

in the front to make it look nice but

basically we've got a 100 lit fuel cell

and this 100 lit fuel cell doesn't have

a pump you just put an air air fitting

onto the tank and basically put 15 psi

in it and that pumps the fuel into the

engine I don't know if that's how Jets

normally run I'm not assuming so

but in my eyes that's pretty sketchy so

hey at the end of the day there's

nothing not really sketchy about this

car so why stop there so this system

runs on 24 volt so we've got two big boy

batteries up the front which I sort of

half charged yesterday hopefully they're

charged enough and there's a bit of a

sequence with fuel Taps

throttles starter Motors firing

sequences it all it all goes on

hopefully I can remember what the guy

told me I was really excited even when

someone's telling you something

important but you're too excited

something else and you're thinking about

what this jet car is going to do instead

of listening to the drive about how to

start the jet car well that was me so

unfortunately we're just going to have

to wing it but we should be able to get

it to run it's got things like exhaust

gas temperature and EGT so basically we

know what temperature the motor's

running at I don't know what the

temperature is meant to be I just know

what it's running at so I can tell you

but I don't know if that's good or bad

realistically we've got a fuel tank for

some reason the fuel tank works

it's only it's pretty low should be

enough for a startup oil pressure not

sure if it works this is a mgl a some

sort of plane gauge it it lights up and

says numbers I don't know what the

numbers mean but they're on there and

then we've got things like throttle

there's a whole bunch of cables and

wires and lines and stuff fitted to the

motor once again I have zero idea what

any of this stuff does but all I know is

this thing starts and it makes noise and

it sounds like an airplane and if it

does that that's good enough for me all

right now back to the Barbe tell you

what I'm getting a bit hungry wouldn't

mind a bit of a feed in near Bunnings

could um do with a they do a bit of a

sausage on a Saturday morning Friday
