Transcripts
in this video I'll be showing you over
50 tips to help you in your playthrough
of all the mods these tips should work
in both all the mods 8 and in all the
mods 9 and can help you with whichever
pack you decide to play I've picked up a
lot of tips and tricks from my speed
runs and I wanted to share all of the
things that I've learned along the way
I'm also a huge fan of making these
types of videos so if you enjoyed them
make sure to hit that like and sub
button if you haven't and let's get
started tip number one use ultimon this
is by far the most important tip I can
give because it will save you a ton of
time by default the hotkey is this
button right here it's beside your one
key and while holding this you will be
able to break up 64 blocks in one go as
long as the tool has the durability to
break it tip number two use the other
ultimind presets if you hold shift while
holding the keybind for ultimind you can
scroll your mouse well to select a
different preset for ultimate there are
tons of awesome ways to use this like
making a mining tunnel straight down or
digging long three by three tunnels
while mining or or just clearing things
out tip number three use a crafting
table on a stick you'll need a crafting
table for everything but having to run
to it every time you need to craft
something is pretty annoying make
yourself the crafting table on a stick
and craft directly from your inventory
if you don't want to take enough space
in your inventory you can always set a
keybind for it and then place it into
your curio slot tip number four you can
make a supply Camp or a supply ship from
the mod of mine colonies to make a
pre-built starter house to start out
with these take either chests or boats
to make and they're really really cheap
to make overall and they come with
plenty of starting items like tools food
and some even come with a hidden block
of golden coal make sure to check them
all out and as a bonus tip the cavern
Supply ship is the best starter house to
use because it comes with a full
smelting setup a full stack of iron
ingots a full sack of coal and a full
set of chain Mill armor now the reason
why this is a bonus tip it might get
nerfed in the future because it's just
too good tip number five you can set a
home to to teleport back to by using the
command sit home whenever you want to
teleport back to that home location all
you have to do is type in slash home to
warp back tip number six weighstones are
great to use for setting up teleporting
networks in the early game you can find
the way stones in most Villages once you
find one you can break it and place them
around your base to teleport around
these also work across Dimensions tip
number seven the best early game food is
toast this is made by smelting bread
down in a furnace you can get a ton of
bread pretty early by getting all the
hay bales that you'll find in villages
why not just pick these up while you're
looking for way stones tip number eight
botany pods are great for making early
game farms these will automatically grow
the crop or sapling that's placed inside
of it over time and can even be upgraded
to Hopper botany pots to Auto deposit
the Harvest into the storage below it
use these for early game tree farms or
making yourself some more bread tip
number nine when you're using botany
pots don't just use dirt to grow things
you can combine a hole with dirt to make
farmland which speeds up the growth just
slightly but if you want it even faster
add a piece of inferium to upgrade the
Farmland to inferium Farmland tip number
10 you can convert your vanilla tools to
silent gear tools all you have to do is
place a vanilla tool into the crafting
table and this will make you a silent
gear version of that tool this makes it
where the tool won't break when it hits
zero durability and it allows you to
repair them using repair kits one
important note though if you do this
with something like an apotheosis tool
that you find it will remove the
apotheosis effects that it has on it tip
number 11 when you're repairing styling
gear items with a repair kit you
actually don't have to use the same
material to repair the tool for example
if you have an iron pickaxe you can
actually use copper in the repair kit to
repair the iron pick you don't have to
have the same material you just have to
have the same tier of material to repair
which is pretty cool tip number 12 make
sophisticated chests instead of just
making the regular ones sophisticated
chests can be upgraded to store more
items and it gives them slots for
upgrades this can be used for something
like stack upgrades to increase the
amount of stacks per slot they can also
be upgraded into tiers like iron gold
diamond and netherite tip number 13 if
you plan on moving into a new base and
you need to move your chest just use
packing tape to move them right click on
the chest with a tape and it will wrap
it up in the tape now you can easily
break them and it'll pick them up all in
one go and then you can place them
wherever you need them tip number 14
make sophisticated backpacks you might
find these in loot chest but making one
early is one of the best things you can
do to keep your inventory clean they can
be upgraded just like the sophisticated
chest into iron gold diamond or
netherite tears and they even have their
own curio slot if you place one in the
slot you can open up the backpack with
the default keybind which is B tip
number 15 use a drying Basin to make
leather if you've gathered any raw flesh
from zombies you can throw these into a
drying Basin from the mod integrated
Dynamics all you have to do is throw it
in wait five seconds and it will turn
into leather tip number 16 if you run
into some wild and Hunters you can kill
them for wild and wings you can throw
these into a crafting table and you'll
get leather from them tip number 17 you
want to skip the night but aren't near
your bed make a sleeping bag these won't
reset your spawn point but allows you to
sleep through the night to keep you safe
tip number 18 if you want to skip the
daytime so you can get mobs to spawn
make a hammock you will also need some
rope and nail to hang the hammock to
hang it you'll need exactly four blocks
of space between two blocks and then you
want to put the rope and nail on each
side then right click the rope and nail
with a hammock to hang it now you can
sleep in it to skip the daytime tip
number 19 make a dank danks are very
similar to backpacks but instead store
stacks of items and it can be set to
Auto pick up items into the Dank that
you find and pick up they are super
cheap to make and can be upgraded to
hold even more stacks and have more
slots you can change the pickup mode by
hitting the o key by default void pickup
is my personal favorite for mining
because all you have to do is just put
in all the types of stone that you want
to pick up into your tank then you could
just go out and go mining and it'll keep
your inventory clean of those blocks
bonus tip number two do you have a tip
you'd like to share make sure to leave
me a comment with your best tips and
tricks and while you're at it don't
forget to hit that like and sub button
if you haven't tip number 20 osmium is
one of the best things to look out for
and is one of the best medals to make
tools and armor with in the early game
in all the mods 8 you can make osmium
paxils which are great for early game
damage the armor you can make with it is
even better than Diamond one thing to
note here for all the mods 9 mechanism
will eventually be added to the pack as
of this video it's not in the pack just
yet but you can still use osmium to make
silent gear armor and tools tip number
21 make a simple magnet tired of your
items falling into lava the magnet will
suck it right up into your inventory
they are pretty cheap to make and you
can also place it into your curio slot
and toggle it on and off with a key by
if you need more range you can also
upgrade it tip number 22 make an or
Hammer don't just throw your raw ores
directly into the furnace at least not
like the more valuable ones in the early
game like iron you can make an or Hammer
to break down the rotors into double the
dust which then you turn around and
smell and it turns into ingots the
easiest or Hammer to make in the early
game is copper and it just takes two
copper blocks tip number 23 upgrade your
furnace to an iron furnace regular
furnaces are really slow and they take a
lot to set up automation like using a
complicated Hopper system if you
surround a furnace and iron or copper in
a crafting table you can upgrade it to a
furnace from the mod iron furnaces this
allows for it to accept augments that
upgrade it or change the way it works as
well as giving you a config in the
interface to Auto pull or push items
into or Out of the Furnace so no more
needing Hoppers tip number 24 make a
speed augment for your furnace this
doubles the speed of the iron furnace at
the cost of using double the fuel this
is great for the early game if you have
a ton of things like coal or charcoal to
use tip number 25 the best upgrade for
an iron furnace is the factory augment
this allows the furnace to smell
multiple items at once the higher the
tier of the Furnace the more items that
it can also smelt at once the factory
augment also changes the furnace to
accept power instead of just burning
fuel tip number 26 need an early game
generator for power make the generator
augment and turn your iron furnace into
a generator with just the generator
augment you can burn items like wood and
coal to make Power if you combine that
with something like a blasting augment
you can burn things like ingots or even
diamonds for even more power generation
tip number 27 most mechanism machines
can actually be given Redstone to create
power this is great for the early game
and allows you to actually skip having
to make a basic generator for example if
you plan on making a wind generator you
can just give the metallurg to confuse a
redstone to give it some power and then
that will allow you to make the items
needed for a wind generator tip number
28 make pipes for transferring items
fluids or power the pipes are really
cheap to make and these can be upgraded
using pipe upgrades tip number 29 when
using a pipe from the pipes mod and you
want to extract something you'll need to
sneak right click on the pipe with a
wrench the tip is that you don't
actually have to just use the pipes
around most wrenches from other mods
also work my personal favorite is the
create wrench tip number 30. not sure
what you want to do in game are you just
running around in circles jumping on top
of your chests am I personally attacking
you right now do you feel attacked right
now check out the quest book you can
find it by opening up your inventory and
then clicking the little book icon in
the top left corner you can also set a
keybind to open it up quicker I'm
definitely not biased here because I'm
the quest Dev for the packs I promise
please just like the quest tip number 31
make a jet pack in the early game flight
is incredibly useful for traveling or
diving into dungeons while making a jet
pack does sound pretty expensive it's
actually really cheap to get started you
can do this by making a wooden jet pack
first then upgrading it as you get more
materials tip number 32 want to
wirelessly charge your jetpack while
flying the easiest way to do that in the
early game is by making something called
a player transmitter from the mod power
it's pretty cheap to make overall with
the most expensive part of the recipe
just needing a single ender pearl you'll
use this ender pearl to make an aerial
Pearl first then right click on a zombie
with it and it will give you the player
area Pearl that you'll need to craft it
you'll also need a binding card which
you'll hold in your hand right click and
then place it into the player
transmitter tip number 33 you can
upgrade the player transmitter to work
across Dimensions by upgrading The
Binding card to do this take your
binding card and just right click an
Enderman with it this will upgrade it to
a dimensional binding card which will
then charge your inventory across
Dimensions bonus tip number three do you
want to host your own all the mod server
you can use code Alfred GG to get 20 off
of your first month using acklets I'll
have a link in the description below if
you'd like to check them out tip number
34 use silk touch to move spawners if
you have a pickaxe with silk touch this
will allow you to move spawners to
create your own types of mob Farms tip
number 35 silent gear offers the easiest
way to get silk touch on a pickaxe any
tool made out of brass will have silk
touch added on it brass is pretty easy
to make all you need to do is combine
three copper s and one zinc desk
together then you could just smelt the
brass dust down into ingots you can also
add an amethyst tip upgrade to a
silanger tool to give it silk touch as
well tip number 36 spawners can be
changed by using a ma bag on them there
are several ways to get spawn eggs but
the easiest that I found would be
finding them in chest from these
specific structures and you'll find a
ton of these inside caves or even on top
of mountains tip number 37 Bob eggs can
also be made using mob swabs from the
mod mob grinding utilities to do this
you just want to make the mob swab and
then right click on the mob that you
want the spawn egg for then you'll
combine that mob swab with any seed in
one bucket of experience in a crafting
table and you'll get this special
chicken feed you just feed that to a
chicken and
you'll get the mob egg from it you'll
also get one of my personal Favorite
Things guilt tip number 38 need to get a
bucket of experience totally set this
one up perfectly make an experience
Crystal not only is this the best way to
store experience as long as it has
experience inside of it all you have to
do is right click on it with a bucket
and you'll get a bucket of experience
tip number 39 are you planning on
building a massive base or mob farm use
a construction one to help you build
these are super cheap to make and allow
you to extend blocks out making it much
faster to build tall structures or
extend out walls tip number 40 when
you're using the building one you can
put a different Block in your offhand
and then instead of extending the block
that you're looking at with the building
wand it'll use the Block in your off
hand instead I found this out on
accident using torches tip number 41
stop mobs from spawning around your base
by making Mega torches or dreadlamps
these have a massive radius of 64 blocks
all the way around it the mega torch
stops hostile mobs from spawning in low
light but it won't stop mobs from
spawning from mom spawners which is
great for your mob farm The Dread lamp
will stop the natural spawning of
passive mobs in the same exact radius
tip number 42 keep an eye out for
meteorites while you're adventuring
specifically from Ad Astra these
meteorites usually have like a bunch of
obsidian or magma blocks all around it
and are also surrounded by a ton of coal
and coal blocks if you break into them
there's also a great loot chest inside
tip number 43 if you want to find a
specific biome make a Nature's compass
with this all you have to do is Sneak
right click and you'll be able to search
for the exact biome that you want to
find once you select it it will point
you in the direction of the nearest one
and tell you exactly how many blocks
away it is in the top left corner tip
number 44 if you need some more into
pearls head to the Nether and search for
a warped Forest using the Nature's
Compass this is a great place to farm a
few ender pearls in the early game tip
number 45 with ender pearls you can make
something called mob gates from the mod
gateways to Eternity these can be used
to open up a gateway to fight waves of a
specific mob with each way giving you
more and more of that exact mob's loot
for example you can use five ender
pearls to make an Enderman game once you
make it through all of the Waves you'll
have so many ender pearls that you can
then use to make any other mob gate with
tip number 46 using some Blaze powders
and ender pearls you can make or side
potions that basically give you X-ray
vision for specific ores through walls
you'll first need to make a mortar and
pestle from the mod potions Master then
you can use those to crush down one
ender pearl into Ender powder now you'll
combine the Ender powder and the mortar
and pestle with whatever Ingot of the
aura you want to find and this will
create a powder that you can then smelt
down this will turn it into a calcinated
powder which you can then put into a
brewing stand with three mundane potions
and create three oresight potions tip
number 47 don't drink the oreside
potions right away instead combine the
three oresight potions with six Blaze
powders to make an or parasite charm
these can be toggled on and off to give
you the X-ray effect instead of it just
being a timer for the potion that you
drink tip number 48 in both allowed's a
and in olivan's nine one of the most OP
metals that you can find is all the
modium you can find all the modium ore
in the deep dark biome along the walls
and the ceiling tip number 49 to mine
all the modium you'll need at least a
netherite tier pickaxe lots of people
think that you can only mine all the
modium with netherite but there's
actually a bunch of different pickaxes
that will break all the audio for
example you can use an Imperium pickaxe
or an endurium pickaxe made from Silent
gear tip number 50. if you can't find
any autom just kill the warden this will
complete a quest in the bounty board
which you can turn in to get your first
Ingot of all the Mario tip number 51 do
not use your first piece of all the
modium on anything other than making a
Teleport pad to use this just place it
in the Overworld and sneak right click
it with both of your hands being empty
and you'll teleport to the mining
Dimension this is the best place to mine
almost every ore in the pack including
all the Mario to find all the modium
here you'll need to dig down to at least
the Deep slight layer whenever I'm
searching for all the modium I
personally start around y level 96. tip
number 52 if you're looking for a
specific structure you can make a
structure Compass just like the Nature's
Compass you can use this to search for a
specific structure and it will point you
in the direction of the nearest one
which leads to my last tip tip number 53
to get the best loot in the pack you'll
want to head to the other and find one
of the dungeons there to get to the
other you'll need to place down a
Teleport pad in the Nether and then
sneak right click it with both of your
hands being empty to teleport if you
have one you can use the structure
Compass to search for the all the modium
dungeon this dungeon is filled with
great loot like blocks of diamonds and
even blocks of netherite inside of the
pillars up top or you can head
underground to find tons of legendary
gear stacks of diamonds and emeralds
tons of enchanted books and even all the
modium and vibranium nuggets and that is
all for my tips and tricks today now if
you guys have anything that you would
like to share make sure to leave a
comment below let me know if you know a
tip or trick that I don't I want to
thank y'all so much for watching and as
