Transcripts

play00:00

- I know that changing your thinking

play00:02

will change your life, never more so

play00:04

than when you change negative thinking

play00:06

to positive thinking.

play00:14

When we have too many negative thoughts

play00:16

and almost become a negative person,

play00:19

that will really impact your life.

play00:22

It will lessen your quality of life.

play00:24

If you are negative and have negative thoughts,

play00:26

a lot of negative thoughts,

play00:28

and you become a negative thinker or a negative person,

play00:31

that will limit your happiness,

play00:34

your confidence, and of course, your enjoyment of life.

play00:38

But no one is born negative.

play00:41

We learn that behavior,

play00:42

we learn to think negative thoughts.

play00:45

We learn what we live.

play00:46

We play the only part we've ever known

play00:48

and then it becomes our own.

play00:49

And today, I'm going to show you

play00:53

with a free hypnotic audio

play00:55

how to stop those thoughts,

play00:57

how to replace them,

play00:59

how to change them.

play01:00

Because here's the truth;

play01:02

everything begins with your thoughts.

play01:04

Your thoughts control your feelings,

play01:08

your feelings control your actions,

play01:10

your actions dictate your behavior,

play01:13

and you justify it all by how you think.

play01:16

So I know that changing your thinking will change your life,

play01:19

never more so than when you change negative thinking

play01:22

to positive thinking.

play01:25

So, where does negative thinking come from?

play01:27

Have you ever met a negative baby

play01:29

who goes, "Don't look at me,

play01:30

"I've got these triple knees and milk spots

play01:33

"and no hair and a little fat tummy

play01:35

"and a wrinkly little butt"?

play01:37

No, never. Babies are naked

play01:38

with stuff coming out of their mouth, their nose,

play01:42

every orifice,

play01:43

and they still think they're lovable.

play01:45

They have no concept.

play01:49

All babies come onto the planet with positive thinking.

play01:54

I remember years and years ago,

play01:55

when my little girl was tiny

play01:57

and I was talking to someone about money, she says,

play01:59

"Mommy, you must never worry about money.

play02:01

"If you go to the bank, they give you money."

play02:04

You see how her belief was?

play02:06

I was driving her one day

play02:07

and there was a vagrant lying on a bench,

play02:10

she said, "Mommy, why is that man not having a home?"

play02:13

I said, "Well, darling, he could have a home,

play02:15

"but some people, unfortunately, live like that.

play02:19

"They drink a lot of alcohol,

play02:21

they get in a bad place, and they don't have a home."

play02:23

And she went,

play02:24

"Oh, well, he's got a lovely garden to wake up to."

play02:27

When I'd say things like, "It's raining,"

play02:29

she'd go, "Mommy, if it didn't rain

play02:31

"the flowers wouldn't get any water."

play02:34

And she was such a great teacher to me,

play02:36

that she was naturally positive,

play02:38

naturally looked for the good.

play02:39

She'd see a puddle, that was great fun,

play02:42

she could jump in it.

play02:43

She'd see a worm,

play02:44

she was fascinated by its movements.

play02:46

She'd see snow, that was exciting.

play02:49

And unfortunately, we teach children to be negative.

play02:53

Now, my daughter would go to stay with my mother,

play02:55

come home and go,

play02:56

"Mommy, I've got my migraine headache.

play02:59

"This will never work out.

play03:01

"We've gone all that way for nothing.

play03:03

"We'll never find a place to park.

play03:05

"They're never going to have what I want in the store."

play03:08

She was still five years old.

play03:10

So my mother, who I love dearly,

play03:12

was incredibly negative,

play03:14

always sick, and was probably a master in negative thinking.

play03:18

If I took her away, she'd go,

play03:20

"Well, they going to lose my luggage,

play03:22

"the plane will be late,

play03:23

"it will never work out,

play03:24

"they won't have the food I want."

play03:26

If I took her shopping, she'll go,

play03:27

"They'll never have what I want,

play03:28

"I bet it's out of stock."

play03:30

And she would be negative in advance of a situation,

play03:33

"Let's go out for lunch."

play03:35

"Oh, they won't have what I like."

play03:37

I took her out once,

play03:38

and I remember her saying,

play03:40

"There's nothing on this whole menu I could eat.

play03:41

"I can't eat gluten,

play03:43

"I can't eat dairy."

play03:44

And it was very hard to say to her, "Mom,

play03:47

"you're thinking these thoughts and making them real."

play03:51

I was lucky that my father was the opposite,

play03:54

very positive.

play03:55

And I obviously chose to be more like him.

play03:58

Doesn't mean I didn't love my mother dearly.

play04:00

But where does this stuff come from,

play04:02

this negative thinking,

play04:04

"It will never work out.

play04:06

"What's the point?

play04:07

"Everything I touch goes wrong.

play04:09

"I'm bound to be late.

play04:11

"I'm never going to get that job.

play04:13

"It won't work out for me.

play04:14

"Everyone else will get that

play04:16

"but it just won't happen"?

play04:18

Where does that come from?

play04:19

Unfortunately, it comes from the people that raised us.

play04:23

If you are raised by negative people who go,

play04:25

"Oh, that's never going to work out,

play04:27

"don't even try that.

play04:28

"Oh, it's a scary world out there,

play04:31

"you mustn't go there,

play04:32

"don't do that."

play04:33

Even when I sit in the park,

play04:36

I'd see children playing and I'd see the parents go,

play04:38

"Don't do that you're going to fall,

play04:39

"you're going to break your neck.

play04:41

"Don't try and climb that tree,

play04:43

"you're going to hurt yourself.

play04:44

"Don't swing so high, you could fall."

play04:47

I'd say to my daughter,

play04:48

"Darling, when you're climbing a tree,

play04:49

"look at your hands, look at your feet,

play04:52

"be aware." I'd never go,

play04:53

"You're going to fall,

play04:54

"you're going to fall now,

play04:54

"you're going to fall off any minute."

play04:56

Because I'm telling her she's going to fall,

play04:59

and of course, she's going to fall.

play05:00

She had plenty of falls, of course.

play05:03

But we, often with the best intentions,

play05:07

program our children not to take risks,

play05:10

"It's a big, bad world.

play05:12

"Don't expect much.

play05:13

"You'll never do that.

play05:15

"You can't be top of the class."

play05:16

Some teachers say that too,

play05:17

"Oh, that's too much for you.

play05:20

"That's too hard.

play05:21

"That's above your reading level."

play05:23

And so we learned to be negative. To think small,

play05:27

to not aim high.

play05:29

And as a second thing in play here, that's very important,

play05:33

we are hardwired and super coded

play05:36

to go back to what is familiar.

play05:38

Because 500 years ago, familiar made us safe

play05:42

and kept us alive.

play05:43

So our primitive brain, in our very modern body,

play05:46

wants to run back to what's familiar

play05:49

and run away from what's unfamiliar.

play05:51

But you can train that brain

play05:53

to make being positive familiar,

play05:56

and to be negative unfamiliar.

play05:58

Sometimes I have a client who comes in and I talk,

play06:00

they go, "Well, that won't work.

play06:02

"I could do that but...

play06:03

"Yeah, I could stop eating cake,

play06:05

"but you know, cake's the cheapest thing,

play06:06

"it makes me happy."

play06:08

And I have to say to them,

play06:10

"You're not allowed to say 'but' in this office.

play06:12

"And we're going to focus on other things that you can do.

play06:15

"I can see that you're instinctively going back

play06:19

"to what's familiar."

play06:20

Other clients come in and go,

play06:21

"You know, I always date losers

play06:23

"and I actually really like bad boys

play06:25

"and I'm not interested in a nice person."

play06:28

I go, "No, that's just familiar.

play06:30

"There's no one that's too good for you."

play06:33

They say,

play06:34

"Oh, well, they're too good for me."

play06:35

No, they're unfamiliar.

play06:37

You can make anything familiar.

play06:38

Here's the thing,

play06:39

the first time you take a bit of plastic

play06:41

and shove it in your eyeball

play06:42

if you're wearing a lens,

play06:44

that is the most unfamiliar thing you can do,

play06:46

your eye will water

play06:48

and go, "Get that foreign object out."

play06:50

But if you keep persevering with lenses, you can do that,

play06:53

super familiar,

play06:54

and even do that and squeeze that lens of your eyeball,

play06:57

and its familiar.

play06:59

Peeing in a toilet wasn't familiar once,

play07:01

getting food in your mouth without aid wasn't familiar.

play07:05

So we're going to learn to make

play07:07

positive thoughts super familiar,

play07:09

and negative thoughts so unfamiliar

play07:12

that they just don't exist in your world.

play07:14

We're going to start right now.

play07:16

So all I need you to do

play07:17

is if you're in a chair like this, sit back.

play07:20

It's much better if you can have your neck supported,

play07:23

but for the next 10 minutes it's not essential.

play07:26

Uncross your legs.

play07:28

Don't sit like that

play07:29

because that's a closed position.

play07:31

Sit with your hands open if you can,

play07:34

your feet and knees apart.

play07:35

Also it stops you fiddling.

play07:37

And just get ready to understand

play07:41

that we're going to make being a positive thinker

play07:45

so familiar that it stops being what you do

play07:48

and becomes who you are.

play07:50

And I promise you, I guarantee you,

play07:53

it will change your life.

play07:54

So make yourself comfortable.

play07:56

And remember, hypnosis is not scary.

play08:00

You are not going to sleep.

play08:01

In fact, you're going to wake up

play08:03

the amazing possibilities of who you are

play08:06

and what you can do when you choose

play08:09

to think positive thoughts,

play08:11

because it is a choice.

play08:13

You know, I have, many times, got in a taxi,

play08:15

returned to London,

play08:17

driver says,

play08:18

"Oh, where have you been? America?

play08:19

"Oh, lucky you. You know, this country is finished,

play08:22

"it's gone to the dogs."

play08:23

I'm go, "I'm really sorry.

play08:24

"I have to make a phone call."

play08:25

Now I shut the partition,

play08:27

because I choose not to get involved in that dialogue,

play08:31

"Oh, isn't it terrible?

play08:32

"What an awful world.

play08:34

"It's dreadful."

play08:36

I prefer to sing that song,

play08:37

"I think to myself

play08:39

"what a wonderful world."

play08:41

Because I can choose.

play08:43

And the way you feel about anything

play08:45

is down to the pictures you make in your head

play08:48

and the words you say to yourself. Today,

play08:51

and for the rest of your life

play08:53

if you choose, you can fill up your mind

play08:56

with positive thoughts and pictures.

play08:57

And because your mind can only hold one thing,

play09:01

you can't then have negative words and pictures too.

play09:04

You can't be happy and sad, excited and terrified,

play09:09

feeling great and in pain.

play09:10

So let's go.

play09:12

All I want you to do,

play09:14

is to look up like that.

play09:16

The same position your eyes go into

play09:18

when you naturally drift into sleep.

play09:20

I want you to look up,

play09:22

and the trick, and it is a trick,

play09:24

is to keep your eyeballs up

play09:26

but to close your lids down. Let's do that.

play09:28

Now look up,

play09:29

keep your eyeballs up as if you're looking here,

play09:32

but keeping your eyeballs up, close the lids down.

play09:36

And if you can do that, and you just did it,

play09:40

you can't stop yourself going

play09:42

into a beautiful healing hypnosis,

play09:44

which is safe, which is wonderful.

play09:48

It's rejuvenating,

play09:49

it's restoring, it's repairing,

play09:50

it's powerful.

play09:52

Hypnosis has changed my entire life,

play09:55

and it can do that for you.

play09:57

It's nothing to be scared of.

play09:59

You can come out of it at any time.

play10:01

But you're really just going to hear my voice guiding you

play10:04

like a meditation. You will like it.

play10:07

So let's get ready.

play10:08

Feet apart, hands not touching.

play10:11

Look up as high as you can,

play10:14

keep your eyeballs up.

play10:16

Keeping your eyeballs up,

play10:18

breathe in and breathe out.

play10:22

And take another deep breath.

play10:24

Breathe in.

play10:26

That's good.

play10:27

Breath out.

play10:29

You're not looking at the screen anymore,

play10:31

your eyeballs are rolled up.

play10:33

So one more time, breathe in.

play10:35

Keep those eyes up for just a few seconds more,

play10:38

and keeping your eyeballs up.

play10:42

As you exhale, keep your eyeballs up,

play10:45

but just close your eyelids right down,

play10:48

all the way down, that's it.

play10:50

Just close your eyelids down.

play10:54

Breathe out.

play10:55

And I want you to drop your chin down now,

play10:57

so you have that same looking down feeling

play11:01

that you might get as you look over a balcony

play11:04

or down a flight of stairs.

play11:07

You are looking down 10 steps.

play11:10

And as I count backwards,

play11:12

you can see your feet

play11:14

and hear your feet,

play11:16

and feel your feet treading each step.

play11:18

This is safe, deeply relaxing, powerfully healing.

play11:22

You are looking down 10 steps.

play11:25

You have that looking down sensation.

play11:28

You are moving onto step 10 as each muscle,

play11:33

every nerve turns loose,

play11:35

lets loose, and you go deeper.

play11:40

You are taking step nine.

play11:42

As you gently,

play11:44

calmly, easily move on over to an even deeper level.

play11:51

You're taking step eight.

play11:52

You can see your feet connecting

play11:55

to every step as you go deeper.

play11:59

You're taking step seven.

play12:00

You can hear your feet touching each step

play12:06

as you go deeper.

play12:07

You are taking step six.

play12:10

You can see your feet, hear your feet,

play12:13

feel your feet connecting to every step

play12:17

as you go deeper and deeper and deeper into a beautiful,

play12:22

profound awareness of yourself.

play12:26

You are taking step five.

play12:29

And you're now going deeper with every sound around you,

play12:33

every sound, every noise.

play12:35

Your own breathing,

play12:37

your own heartbeat are taking you deeper.

play12:42

You're taking step four as you gently,

play12:45

calmly, easily, beautifully drift into the most wonderful

play12:51

state of healing hypnosis.

play12:55

You're taking step three. Going even deeper still.

play12:59

You're taking step two.

play13:02

As each muscle,

play13:04

every nerve turns loose, lets loose,

play13:08

and you go deeper.

play13:11

And now, you're taking step one.

play13:14

Just go deeper, drift deeper, sink deeper.

play13:20

And as you go deeper,

play13:22

you are listening with your subconscious mind,

play13:26

your subconscious mind is taking in everything.

play13:30

And as you go deeper,

play13:31

you're suddenly remembering

play13:33

being a tiny newborn baby.

play13:37

And when you're a tiny newborn baby,

play13:40

the first thing that happened to you is that

play13:42

people assessed you,

play13:44

they counted your fingers and toes.

play13:46

They looked at you,

play13:47

people came to see you.

play13:49

And you never looked away and said,

play13:51

"Don't look at me,

play13:53

"I'm having a really bad hair day or a no hair day."

play13:57

As a baby you were born with endless possibilities,

play14:01

everything excited you,

play14:02

every new day was exciting.

play14:04

Babies can spend hours looking at their fingers,

play14:08

looking at a mobile,

play14:09

staring at the leaves in a tree, and they are happy.

play14:15

And you were born like that.

play14:16

And even if you think you have forgotten, right now

play14:19

you are starting to reactivate,

play14:22

remanifest, regenerate, and recreate

play14:29

that powerful ability you were born with to be positive.

play14:34

And as you go deeper, you're understanding something that

play14:37

you'll remember forever.

play14:38

You get the chance to change twice every day,

play14:43

for the rest of your life.

play14:45

You can change twice each day.

play14:47

The first change is in the way you think,

play14:49

and the second is the way you act and react.

play14:53

And you have decided, right now, to be positive.

play14:58

Being positive is a decision.

play15:00

"Decision" is a Latin word

play15:03

that means to cut off from.

play15:07

You have made a decision to be positive.

play15:12

And every day you're going to think,

play15:14

and indeed say, this expression,

play15:16

"I am choosing to be positive

play15:19

"and I'm choosing to feel great about it."

play15:23

I want you to say that out loud, right now.

play15:26

Repeat after me,

play15:27

"I am choosing to be positive.

play15:32

"I'm choosing to feel great about being positive.

play15:38

"I'm choosing to be positive.

play15:41

"It isn't even what I do,

play15:43

"it's becoming who I am."

play15:46

As you begin to repeat those words to yourself every day,

play15:50

every time you play this recording,

play15:52

in many times throughout the day,

play15:54

you are sending a clear message to your mind,

play15:58

"I want to be positive,

play16:00

"I choose to be positive.

play16:02

"Being positive as a choice,

play16:05

"it's a choice I'm making and I like it,

play16:08

"I love it.

play16:10

"I love being positive,

play16:13

"I choose positive thoughts."

play16:15

So as you go deeper,

play16:19

just hearing these words

play16:21

is causing your incredible inner mind to hear

play16:23

what I'm saying, and beginning to manifest it right now.

play16:28

Just hearing it is causing your mind to act upon it,

play16:33

your inner mind has no choice

play16:35

but to act upon the words you say.

play16:39

Let's say it again,

play16:40

"I'm choosing to be positive.

play16:43

"I'm choosing to feel great about being positive.

play16:48

"Being positive is not what I do,

play16:51

"it's who I am,

play16:54

"who I am is positive."

play16:57

I want you to say that, to think it,

play17:00

because as you say and think it,

play17:02

you are becoming a walking, talking, living,

play17:08

powerful, impressive example of a positive person.

play17:14

And you know you have a choice.

play17:16

You look at any event and go,

play17:17

"Well, how could I make this positive?

play17:21

"What's positive about this?"

play17:24

I went to Cuba with my husband.

play17:27

He lost all his luggage,

play17:28

I lost most of mine. And it was so wonderful.

play17:32

We wore the same clothes every day.

play17:35

It was great not to have to think, "What shall I put on?"

play17:39

It was incredibly freeing.

play17:41

I actually really saw the benefits in that.

play17:44

And that's when I learned to say,

play17:46

"What's good about this?

play17:47

"What's great about this?

play17:48

"How can I make this positive?"

play17:51

And I want you to think,

play17:53

how can you make every thought positive?

play17:57

How can you go through life being positive?

play18:00

Well, the easiest way is to look at a negative thought

play18:03

and to flip it over, "That will go wrong,"

play18:05

"It could go right."

play18:07

"Who will like me?"

play18:09

"Why wouldn't people like me?"

play18:10

"I can't do that,"

play18:11

"I can do it."

play18:13

"I don't know enough,"

play18:15

"I will learn enough."

play18:17

"What's good about this?

play18:19

"What's great about this?

play18:20

"What can I learn from this?"

play18:23

And every day, my words are going in,

play18:26

sinking into you like lotion on dry skin.

play18:31

When you put lotion on dry skin it sinks in

play18:34

and it nourishes you.

play18:36

And the words on this recording nourish you every day,

play18:40

they sink in; they make an impact,

play18:42

and they remind you of a truth.

play18:45

The way you feel about everything

play18:48

is down to the pictures you make in your head

play18:52

and the words you say to yourself.

play18:56

And you are making positive pictures and positive words,

play19:00

because that is your choice.

play19:02

You choose to fill up your mind with positive images

play19:07

and positive words, no matter what.

play19:09

No matter what, you get to choose

play19:12

those two changes every day.

play19:15

You choose to put positive images in your head,

play19:19

you choose to use positive words always, always, always,

play19:24

and you choose something else.

play19:27

You choose to remember your thoughts control your feelings,

play19:32

your feelings control your actions,

play19:35

and your actions justify your behavior.

play19:39

And every day, you remember to take that right back

play19:42

to the truth.

play19:44

The only thing you can really control are your thoughts.

play19:48

And as you make your thoughts positive,

play19:51

your life is changing in the most powerful way.

play19:57

As you make your thoughts positive,

play19:59

your life is becoming wonderful, extraordinary.

play20:03

I want you to imagine

play20:05

you know someone who is a positive thinker,

play20:08

we can all find someone even if it's on the screen.

play20:11

What would they say every day?

play20:13

How would they run their life?

play20:15

How would they cope with adversity?

play20:17

How do positive thinkers talk?

play20:20

How do they conduct their life?

play20:22

What do they do?

play20:25

They say things like,

play20:26

"Well, sorry, it didn't work out.

play20:28

"Sorry you don't like me, I like myself.

play20:30

"Oh, you really can't reject me

play20:33

"because only I have the power to reject me.

play20:36

"That's unfortunate,

play20:37

"but I believe something good will come of it."

play20:41

You see, you can choose.

play20:43

So imagine you're metamorphosing into someone positive,

play20:48

That positive thoughts and beliefs are just

play20:52

melding into you, merging into you.

play20:55

That positive person that you know of, or know,

play20:59

their thoughts are becoming your thoughts,

play21:01

their words are becoming your words.

play21:04

Your words shape your reality.

play21:07

You have chosen to think positive thoughts,

play21:11

to speak positive words.

play21:13

It's already changing your life.

play21:16

And one of the fastest ways

play21:17

to be super positive is to say things like,

play21:20

"I can, I always, I do."

play21:23

Remember the words that follow, "I am," will follow you.

play21:28

So let's end this amazing hypnosis recording

play21:31

with some "I am" statements.

play21:34

"I am positive.

play21:36

"I am always positive.

play21:38

"I can always see the positive in any event.

play21:42

"I always do see the positive.

play21:45

"I look for the positive.

play21:47

"I find the positive."

play21:49

See, here's another truth.

play21:50

Whatever you look for, you will find.

play21:53

Repeat after me.

play21:54

"I am positive.

play21:57

"I am always positive.

play21:59

"I am a positive person,

play22:02

"being positive is who I am.

play22:05

"I think positively,

play22:08

"thinking positive is who I am.

play22:10

"It's what I do.

play22:12

"It's me.

play22:15

"I am positive.

play22:16

"Naturally, instinctively, intuitively.

play22:20

"I look for the positive and when I look for it, I find it.

play22:25

"What I look for I find."

play22:27

I invite you to repeat those statements,

play22:30

and any others,

play22:31

many, many times as you play this audio.

play22:34

"I am, I can, I always, I do."

play22:39

And let me know how fast you change.

play22:42

And remember, you can change who you are

play22:45

and how you feel every day by using positive words.

play22:49

And if you think a negative one, just flip it over

play22:52

and say the positive instead.

play22:54

Because your mind doesn't know,

play22:56

and it really doesn't care, which one is right.

play22:59

Choose the positive,

play23:00

and you are choosing to change your life.

play23:03

So knowing it, feeling it,

play23:06

and, more than anything, becoming it.

play23:09

This is not what you're going to do,

play23:11

this is who you are.

play23:14

So knowing it, believing it, making it so,

play23:16

being committed to make it so.

play23:19

You can just slowly, calmly, easily, effortlessly just

play23:25

come back to your full awareness on the count of one,

play23:29

two, three, four, five, that's it.

play23:34

You can open your eyes and just be here.

play23:38

Of course, if you ever play this before sleeping,

play23:41

you can drift straight back into sleep.

play23:45
