it so all right off the bat the thing

about this fight that made it so special

was that this was Dustin Po's

potentially final fight and his last

opportunity to fight for a world title

in the UFC he's had multiple times he's

fought Charles oliv he's fought khabib

for the belt and then he fought Islam he

came up short all three times so right

off the bat let's just take a

appreciation to these cool flower

shorts that Dustin pory is rocking in

the Octagon so uh that was pretty cool

thing um especially for his last fight

I'm sure he's going to uh donate those

to uh fight foundation so that's a cool

thing you guys look out for but one of

the things I really loved about watching

this fight was just how is was able to

use the wrestling to strike and he

actually outstruck Des support with 143

strikes um granted I don't know how many

was on the feet how many was on the on

the ground but right here look right

here typically you don't really see this

you know from a guy from you

know khabib's Camp I don't know Eagle FC

Eagle MMA whatever it may be but look at

this shot right here beautiful uh

technique from Islam coming in and

Landing that shot outside of Dustin Po's

signature hooks right landed that shot

very clean this what makes this guy so

dangerous because he can either strike

you he has a striking he also has the

grappling Advantage he also has the jits

advantage and also the wrestling which

these two equal uh well uh the wrestling

and Jiu-Jitsu equal the grappling right

so he's able to do stuff like this you

don't no he going to come in and strike

with you or you don't know if he's going

to come in and take you down but right

Dustin you know tough as ever um I think

his nose got broke after I watched the

press conference there was also a

picture on the internet where you see

the blood just coming out of his nose I

another beautiful uh this is a beautiful

shot from Islam maach but once again

this what makes these guys so damn

strong is the striker and the grappling

Jiu-Jitsu the wrestling exchange he can

do all that so I'm not saying that

Dustin pory can't do those but typically

Dustin likes to revert into striking

it's not very rare you see him go out

there do doua takedown and force the

grappling ex change oh also let's do M

for Mu Thai because he did a lot of that

by shutting off and and stopping the

momentum that Dustin would get when he

would start to have some success in the

fight but very good shot shot of the

producer for get this shot put together

perfect shot right there to show you

that you know Isam was Landing some

great shots on the feet against Dustin

po a lot of people thought it was just

going to be Dustin po defending the

takedown and he was defending a lot of

the takedowns during the fight and here

it is right here um you know there's

nowhere for uh Dustin to run and he's

doing the right thing which is to get

the arms underneath and as I am at the

you know telling end of my career I feel

takedown defense you're better off to

focus on your balance instead of giveing

your hands because because right now

when Dustin puts his hands in here he's

locked they're now they're even

connected now Dustin has to pick him up

off his hips while keeping his balance

where for me now in my stage of my

career when I fight adrion last time I

actually lift them in on my hips push

the head down and just focus on my

balance and be athletic enough to just

you know keep my balance and throw a

knee in a to get them off get the face

up and and try to do short shots in

there or slaps or whatnot but right here

when you connect your hands Dustin's

post he has no post up here so if uh

Isam is to take him this way he can't

post that arm if Isam take him this way

he can't post that arm so in order for

him to post that arm he has to bring the

arm out and do it but he's got to go

underneath there so it's it's a it's a

catch 22 you know you got to figure out

do you have good balance do you not have

good balance you want to use exert a lot

of energy to pull this guy up because

think about doing a bicep curl he's

bicep curling like this

right it's interesting thing but for me

I found that I find more success when I

don't fight the taked down like this I

rather just not even wizard put my arm

on his back ear put my hand on his his

head and let's keep my balance granted I

have a great balance so I'm able to do

that okay let's go on to the next shot

but once these guys get in in a position

like this it's so hard to get them off

um especially when you're connected

connect with them I love you that and

right here this is uh some of the ground

control that that Islam did very well

against theore so a lot of people are

like oh man I hate grappling this is a

check move what do I check so he has a

body triangle so the only and it's long

enough to come through there so the

typical way to get out of a body

triangle Dustin has to roll this way

take this foot push it on there or on

the foot pull that out and

then stay on the side and not allow

Islam to go back and forth that's why

such a hard hard thing to deal with also

what are the options that Dustin uh

excuse me Islam has he has a run that

can choke he can punch right punch him

and he can also swing his hips this way

and armar him right there if Dustin is

caught slipping so it's a very dominant

position for Isam and also Isam you saw

later in the fight he came up and

mounted him and this right here this is

a very key thing right here he's

squeezing the

diaphragm while trying to punch him

while punching him and trying to choke

him so it's a lot of there's three

battles going on here I'm going to get

all down the battles are going on first

battle this Dustin's got to beat this

Boom the diaphragm so this is one this

is two and then this is three

right three battles that Dustin has to

fight while Isam can pick and choose

which battle he wants to focus on he can

focus on the keeping him on his back

with this hook because Dy can't go this

way because when he tries to go that way

you elevate that leg he keeps on that

side and you also have the diaphragm

he's squeezing it and he's also hand

fighting so four

battles hand fighting also while trying

to choke him a lot of battles going on

there that a lot of the common people

don't really understand what's going on

here so good position from Islam well

that's why it's called the check move

just like in chess depending on where

you move you have to force your move you

got to make sure you make the right move

he gets him down right here he's going

to focus on taking that post away from

uh Dustin that way Dustin can't get back

up right he's not going to focus on try

to punch him he's going to focus on

getting that post taken out from him but

a beautiful shot from Islam those guys

love the wrestling are so good at the

wrestling as well what makes him so damn

dominant

was in body triangle he's coming up to

the top and just smothering him and just

basically trying to drown him while

grappling him and this is this this

takes energy out of both the guys more

out of uh Dustin but right here look at

often Destin is put in a clitch when he

somebody's head's down like this down

you can't you don't throw your punches

like this you can't generate a lot of

energy like that maybe you can but it's

very hard to generate energy like this

right here I felt like I saw that last

night when he fought Dustin and I also

saw when Dustin fought Charles ol as

now Islam was getting DUS po to cover up

in shell so right now Dustin is is blind

and when Dustin was doing this this is

kind of like a tactic to draw your

opponent in because look what's

think this is one of Dusen Po's ticks
