right um because apparently this has

caused a lot of uproar it definitely has

caused an uproar in the community in the

YouTube Community um some stuff was

warranted some stuff wasn't you know

opinion based that's what YouTube is

however today I want to take a look at

this objectively speaking right because

honestly I love Lumix cameras I had that

gh5 which is still to me the goat if I

was just want to spend my money forly I

go buy another one you know what I mean

like to keep it a buck but I love

everything about the lumit uh I love

everything about my gh5 I had a G7 I had

a G9 like I was a Lumix I was lumus gang

you feel what I'm saying shout out to

Big Cook but my my rule of thumb is this

as we're talking about this camera

objectively if it does not apply then

let it fly you feel what I'm saying like

understand this man with this camera

stuff every camera that's coming out

right now is not made specifically for

you but that also doesn't mean that we

get to give camera passes even if they

may be lackluster in some areas so we're

going to take a look at that today and

it's kind of determ

a couple things about this camera number

one the first thing will to be is why

people may love this camera number two

is going to be why people may be upset

with YouTubers in regards to this camera

to talk a little bit more truthfully now

why would people love the Lumix S9 first

of all it's you know at the $1500 price

point full frame body does 4K does 6K

takes great steals it has this hybrid

Zoom option when you get to like kind of

take a 28 mil lens and turn to like

something ridiculous like a 640 mil lens

it has a Lut feature type of thing where

you kind of like cycle through L kind of

like how Fuji has like their own like

you know their recipes for the film

emulations where you can kind of create

your own fil film emulations using you

know LS on your camera and just take

pictures to your LS like I mean don't

get me wrong

if someone was just starting out right

so let's just say I have a kid maybe who

just finished 8th grade maybe who's you

know maybe who's going to high school

maybe graduated high school maybe even

graduated high school and they they're

trying to you know they want a camera

they've been doing some reach they're

like man I really want a fullframe

camera you know what I mean this may be

a valuable options for people especially

if somebody's like in your family like

you know who has lumus Camas right let's

say they got family members that are

Lumix Die Hard Lumix fans this is a

camera that Lumix needed this is the

first one out so it's a first one going

to be crazy no I mean if we look at you

know some of Sony's first attempts to

thing like if we look at the Sony zv1

that that camera wasn't perfect when it

first came out if you look at the Canon

R5 that camera wasn't perfect when it

first came out now in all fairness you

know this they kind of been doing

like this for a while but I think that

was kind of first time doing like 8K Raw

on the camera so it was overheating

things like I'm stting out to say that

like when first come out there's

going to be issues like we have to

realize that there's not going to be a

perfect product there's not a single

piece of technology out there that does

not have its faults okay let's go ahead

and just set that Baseline right there

so for somebody who doesn't care about

those faults this this camera may be a

perfect buy for them especially at that

price point and it has a face autofocus

I mean Panasonic has done everything

that essentially we wanted within this

camera I'm not going to say we I don't

want that but what I am saying for

somebody who does who who has been

looking at the camera like this this is

a great valuable option for them um

who's not you know who's not looking to

record content for long and we also have

to keep in mind that because the the way

the humans attention spans are getting

shorter and shorter and shorter you know

a 10 minute 15 minute time recording

limit may not be such a huge deal for

them you know what I mean like again

you're looking at it from your case

needs your your knee case but everybody

doesn't have the same knee case this may

be for somebody who's like on the road

traveling real quick want to get a

couple quick clips and they good and

they gone now that we've looked at that

objectively on why the S9 is a valuable

option for some let's kind of talk about

why it may not be so valuable and why

YouTubers kind of so much flag behind

this camera okay may have to take

another sip of this wine for that also

what do you think about the lighting set

I I actually try I'm trying to I try

like I'm trying I tried with the

lighting set up I really did why were

people finding so much issues with

YouTube YouTubers in regards to this

camera it's not that the content

creators and YouTubers were not um being

truthful about the camera right it's

just the way that it was done and I

think that's the problem when it comes

into like YouTube and ethics thing and

stuff like that and even when lumus

right the that happened with Jared

undone as far as like you know them only

want to rock with him if he going to

talk positive about the camera and I

don't know how true this is but

apparently there's been reports that the

bird photos like for the the autofocus

for like the birds and like that

like apparently that was taking on a

Nikon camera from way back when I guess

and Lumis is using those you know images

to Market their new camera now I'm not

going to lie to you if this is

true yeah I'm going use it now that's

some if this is true if this

is true but if it's not you know again

if it doesn't apply Let it Fly but if it

is come on Lumis bro like that's

unacceptable and then on top of that you

know let's let's think about this right

because some people was kind of like you

know even with the Japan thing which

jald touched on it was a simple fact

that like for example if I had a wedding

let's say I did a wedding and at this

wedding the ceremony was the

getting ready was the portrait

session was I already got no photos

but it comes to reception time got that

open bar me and my homies having a good

time I don't give a about none of

that no more like I about that when I

having a great time this wed it's fun we

for this camera not having a mechanical

shutter if I remember correctly on this

lumus S5 Mark II and a Sony a7c both of

them have viewfinders neither one of

them have record limits both of them has

mechanical shutters so you telling me

for extra what $2 $300 and in some cases

damn near cheaper I can give me a better

camera nah dog that S9 listen in my
