play00:00

In this video, I will share with you 7 useful  tips that not many new players know about and

play00:04

I guarantee at least one of these tips will make  your experience much better in Wuthering Waves.

play00:10

If you ever come across these ores out in the open  world – just take your time to quickly mine them,

play00:15

especially if it’s Indigoite ore vein you can  see here or Scattlethorn material – both of these

play00:20

ores are going to be used for free 4-star weapons  that you can craft. To do this, you need to go at

play00:25

this location here called… well, Weapon Crafting. And as you can see, you can craft a 4-star weapon

play00:31

for each class, so you can get a 4-star Rectifier,  Pistols, Broadblade, Gaunlets and Sword.

play00:36

Now are these weapons cracked? Well, at the early  game, they are pretty much the best thing you

play00:41

can get your hands on if you get unlucky with the  Gacha system, since they do provide a really good

play00:45

Base ATK compared a 3-star weapon and even some of  these weapon passive effects are pretty good. Keep

play00:51

in mind, in order to actually craft these weapons,  you will also need this Standard Weapon mold,

play00:55

which will drop from a weekly boss and there are  currently two – Bell-Borne Geochelone and Scar,

play01:01

so just pick the one whose ascension  materials you can utilize for your

play01:04

characters and then you can do them up to  3 times per week and there’s a chance you

play01:07

can get this Standard Weapon Mold from them. Now one thing to keep in mind – you can use

play01:11

map markers to remind yourself where you mined the  ores since I believe they refresh every day after

play01:16

the server resets… but to save yourself some  sanity and speed up the process of gathering

play01:21

these ores, you can use an interactive map on your  browser, for example, I am using Wuthering.gg/map,

play01:27

I’ll leave a link in the description and you  can easily check out all the known locations

play01:31

for these ores, to get that 4-star weapon as  soon as possible. Also, there’s one cool bonus

play01:35

tip at the end of video I will show you,  7 tips just sounded better for the title

play01:39

so make sure to watch this video till the end. Now this next tip is pretty crucial – collect

play01:46

everything. I mean it – if you’re one of  those packrats who hoards every material

play01:50

you can get your hands on, now is the time  to shine for you because you’ll get rewarded

play01:53

with Astrites and other useful materials you  can help level up your account and progress.

play01:58

What I mean by this is that there are two of the  places that aren’t so clear about rewards but

play02:03

definitely offer them… and it’s the Synthesizer  and Cooking station. When you’re in their menu,

play02:07

you see this place right here that says  Synthesis Level for Synthesizer and Chef

play02:12

Level for cooking? Well, if you click on this  button, you will get to see a preview of rewards

play02:16

and Proficiency score – you raise Proficiency  by simply just crafting or cooking the various

play02:21

things in these places and once you level  up Proficiency you get the rewards – pretty

play02:25

easy to get some FREE Astrites and materials. On top of that – if you visit this Relic merchant,

play02:31

you can submit Sonance Caskets you found all  over the world. These caskets are basically

play02:35

Genshin equivalent to Oculus and this place is  extremely important for those of you who decided

play02:40

to play Rover the main character, because some  of the rewards will provide crucial materials

play02:44

such as Mysterious Code that’s used to ascend  Rover’s level and even Wavebands that can be

play02:49

used to obtain new powers via the Resonance Chain  system, also known as Constellations from Genshin.

play02:55

Finally, you can also visit Pioneer Association  at this location where you can receive a ton

play02:59

of rewards for each percentage of the map areas  you complete – so again, out in the open world,

play03:04

just collect everything and do all puzzles  chests that you come across for tons of rewads.

play03:11

Now this next tip is probably the most important  one I wanna talk about – do not waste your

play03:15

Waveplates on unnecessary activities. Waveplates  are basically the stamina system for this game,

play03:21

not only do you get a ton of Union  level experience to help increase

play03:23

your account’s level but you can also pick up  some important rewards by spending Waveplates.

play03:28

But where do you spend them on? As a good rule  of thumb, it’s recommended to first prioritize

play03:32

dumping your Waveplates on World Bosses and the  Weekly challenge which can be done up to 3 times

play03:38

per week. Yes, there’s Simulation Challenge you  can do for various level up materials but since

play03:43

the game just launched, you should be getting a  lot of these materials by just completing events

play03:47

and by exploring open world. On the other hand,  when you want to for example ascend to level 50

play03:52

or after reaching Union level 20, it will cost  3 boss materials per character and right now,

play03:57

I am not sure whether this is just the current  drop rate or I was unlucky but I had to spend 540

play04:04

Waveplates or 180 Waveplates for each character,  just to prepare to ascend my main 3-unit team to

play04:09

level 50. So that’s 2 days-worth of Waveplates.  Obviously, if you’re playing Rover, the cost goes

play04:15

down since they use their own special ascension  materials you can get from the Relic merchant

play04:20

but still… I would only recommend spending your  Waveplates on Simulation training if you don’t

play04:25

need the boss materials and from the looks of it  – we will need tons of it, for example, if nothing

play04:30

has changed since CBT2, you need 46 Boss materials  in total to fully ascend a character – so in other

play04:37

words lots of Waveplates you’ll need to spend. And later on, you will also unlock these Tacet

play04:42

Fields which can grant Tuners and Echoes as  a reward – the current recommendation would

play04:46

be to wait until you reach Data Bank 15, which  will then allow you to farm highest rank Echoes.

play04:52

And speaking of which – do not over invest into  lower rank Echoes. There are currently 4 rarities

play04:59

of Echoes, ranging from Green all the way to  Golden or simply known as Rank 5. You basically

play05:04

only want to level up Rank 5 Echoes because they  offer the best main stat increase and the amount

play05:09

of substats you can unlock, however, it would be  unrealistic to not level up lower rarity echoes

play05:14

to have an easier time with the game, however if  you do that, it is recommended to raise them at

play05:19

most to level 5, if we talk about Blue or Purple  echoes, also known as Rank 3 or 4 Echoes. On top

play05:25

of that – focus first on leveling echoes that  provide either something like Critical Rate

play05:30

or Elemental Damage Boost from their main stat,  which will be found on Cost 3 and 4 Echoes. And of

play05:35

course, try to complete the set bonus if possible. I will talk about more how to quickly raise your

play05:40

Data Bank level in future video that’s coming  out very soon, so hey – I’d appreciate if

play05:45

you could subscribe to my channel and  press the like button on this video.

play05:49

Now continuing on with the trend of resource  assignment, I highly recommend to first focus

play05:55

on raising 1 Main DPS character you like to play  with. That means assigning best echoes, giving

play06:00

that 4-star or 5-star weapon and prioritizing  Waveplates to be spent on them is basically a

play06:05

good way to have that one damage dealer that can  quickly take care of any monsters in the open

play06:10

world to save you time when farming or exploring.  And as I said before – you definitely want to use

play06:15

at least a 4-star weapon instead of a 3-star one  because it provides a much better Base ATK that

play06:20

will scale with your main character’s damage quite  well. Basically, we are in the early game right

play06:24

now and it’s no different than from most gacha  games where having at least 1 strong unit on

play06:29

your team can help with progressing the game. Now I personally love this – there’s a 5-star

play06:35

character selector banner that you can unlock  after completing the beginner’s banner – HOWEVER,

play06:40

this banner can be a bit misleading. So, here’s  the thing – you can wish on this banner by either

play06:45

using Lustrous Tides or by spending Astrite.  You can also just buy Lustrous Tides with

play06:50

Astrite. But the thing is – you should never  bother spending Astrite for Lustrous Tides

play06:56

because this is a currency that’s used only  for Standard banner and this selector banner.

play07:00

You definitely want to always save up Astrite  for either featured character or weapon banner

play07:05

and when it comes to Lustrous Tides – trust  me, you will keep earning them from events,

play07:09

in-game mail rewards and world exploration –  so just don’t rush and spend Astrite on this

play07:14

selector banner – save it up and collect those  Lustrous Tides to spend them here afterwards.

play07:20

When exploring the world, you will come across  many chests and these things called Tidal

play07:25

Heritages. You’ll notice they give this resource  called Wood-textured Shard. Well, you can actually

play07:30

spend it in a special shop located right here  at the Souvenir Store. Talk to this NPC and tell

play07:36

them you want Souvenirs. And as you can see here,  you can spend this Wood-textured Shard to obtain

play07:41

Lustrous Tides for that Selector or Beginner  banner I mentioned or obtain experience materials,

play07:46

tuners, ascension mats and even recipes, to help  raise you that Chef level for even more rewards.

play07:53

Now as a bonus tip, this isn’t something that I  recommend to do for everyone but if you want to

play07:58

speed up your exploration there is pseudo  mount you can obtain in the game. So, you

play08:02

will need to accept this quest right here from the  bulletin board, called “We Promise, We Deliver”.

play08:07

Complete this quest chain and you will unlock the  ability to fight and collect Inferno Rider echoes.

play08:12

Now here’s the cool part, if you long press the  Echo button to summon the Inferno Rider, you can

play08:17

actually ride it anywhere in the open world for a  few seconds. But, what you can also do is equip 3

play08:22

copies of this same Echo on all your active team  mates, to keep riding the motorcycle over and over

play08:28

again. Obviously, this echo might not be the best  match for every character but if you by any chance

play08:34

have to farm this boss and want to speed up your  exploration or simply look cool – you can do this.

play08:40

But yeah, hope you found this video useful  and as always I would really appreciate if

play08:44

you could subscribe to my channel and press like  on the video because… I am gonna have quite the

play08:49

sleepless week putting out guides for you guys.  Anyway, thanks for watching and see you next time.
