office is about 5 minutes from my
penthouse which I showed you in the last

that started my Ecom Journey so I'm now
doing the same thing how crazy is it
that at 18 years old you start just a
simple Drop Shipping Store with Shopify
and then now 5 years later that same
Shopify store did 20 million last year I
didn't expect it to end up like this of
course but man I uh just found something
that worked for me and that was Ecom and
still to this day it works for so many
people as you can see with my clients
it's crazy so um to bring you guys along
with what we got going on today we
started the year off uh pretty good we
still have issues with growing because
that's what happens when uh you do very
big numbers we did 4.2 million in a
month in November that also came with
some obstacles you know because we
scaled at at rapid face our marketing
team is doing very well but the back end
couldn't always handle it I'm mainly
pointing towards the supply chain and uh
the the customer service yeah just came
out of a great uh meeting with the team
and uh we made a plan Ruben maybe you
can tell a bit about that because you're
obviously in the the operations yeah So
the plan is to go double down on the
back end right now because over the past
years we uh put most of our times into
uh set the marketing team right so uh we
select a little little bit regarding the
back end so what's the plan now we're
hiring a new customer service manager
we're going to do the customer service
more uh natively a European agents so I
think we will have that sorted out in
around two weeks uh we also got a new
supply chain manager maybe in a few
weeks a new demand planner is coming as
well and also we are going to launch a
new website next week uh a fully new uh
design team so that's also great
Improvement so yeah there a lot of
things uh that going on in the business
but uh we'll make it happen honest L me
and Ruben we aren't the smartest kids
but you know to win with Ecom or making
money online you don't have to be the
smartist but there's one thing you got
to have and that is just believe and
executing because I'm so tired of them
people that look at my life and think oh
he started at the right time or this or
that or he got lucky come on I executed
while you was there drinking beers at uh
1:00 a.m. in the morning with with broke
people come on exactly in the beginning
you need to make sacrifices uh to win
you need to skip all those parties
chilling with friends if you're young
the first thing that you need to do is
just start just start with e-commerce
and then the only thing you need to be
doing is being fully dedicated to it
testing a shitload of products and just
don't give up then it's just a matter of
time that's how it went for me that's
how it went for Samuel that's also how
it went for all our students they're not
the smartest ones but they put in all
their hours that they have they just
keep on going even if things are not
going their way in the beginning because
in the beginning you need to make those
mistakes first before you will get your
first winning product or first success
of course if everybody test one product
or started their first website and it's
a big success everybody would do it just
start exactly in the beginning man my
website was trash I didn't know what the
hell I was doing and that's the problem
with most of you people you know what
you want you want wait first let me put
this [ __ ] in cor I'm out real
quick I'm a family G I still got do that
Max most of you people you want to find
all the answers before you start not
realizing that starting is how you find
the answers man I had no [ __ ] clue
how Shopify worked which products to
sell that's okay I have clients that are
doing 5K a day that a week ago didn't
even know which products work but what
did they do they listen to the plan they
copied and pasted the strategies because
in all honesty a lot of this is just
copy and pasting especially with the
Drop Shipping techniques uh we teach you
go into the ad Library you see which ads
work for competitors you go to their
website you check with spy tools what
are their best sellers which products
are they actively promoting and you just
copy it you copy the creatives you copy
the products here and there you want to
make it better you want to make slight
changes improve focus on the cro so uh
your website is conversion rate
optimized and before you know you are
getting orders oh man when I look back
in 2018 nobody really believed in making
money online and I think in all honesty
many people still don't do they still
don't do they still have limiting
beliefs but I cannot forget that moment
when I was there eating at my mom's
house with my mom and my stepdad and
that first order came in and you heard
that Shopify sound and my stepdad was
like what is that what is that I said
yeah I just got an order he said you
made money while we were here eating
food I said hell yeah and that are the
moments that I will never forget because
that made me realize and gave me that
confirmation that this is real that's
where this this [ __ ] all starts
understanding that it is real believing
that you can do the same thing already
seeing it in front of you even without
making Revenue even with things stacked
against you smelling the success already
I was dreaming about getting orders and
making money then waking up checking my
phone seeing that I didn't even had
orders yet that's how much I wanted this
[ __ ] that's what I want you to have you
know because then it's impossible to
lose a man that believes in it and is
willing to commit and put everything on
the line to succeed that's the
[ __ ] I will place my bets on you
know because all the answers are
basically already out there they are
here online on on the internet for free
even or um in courses or when I uh help
people uh with my one-on-one coaching we
hold them Hand by hand do this click on

country there was no excuse for you to

so as a fashion brand you see we got
many things going on I will uh show you
in a bit what we are working on right
now but this office I got about 2 years
ago in the beginning it was completely
empty there was no floor there was no
paint on the walls no nothing back then
of course I was also at a different
stage with big business so I
underestimated a little bit I thought
let me just grab this office throw some
Furnishing in there and that's it but uh
a lot of money went in there a lot but
I'm very happy with the results this is
like an entrance nice couch at the
moment we use it to uh lay out some
samples things we are working on here we
have the record also with some uh releas
it from the new collection sh like this
we just lunched these long sleeve polo
lunched two weeks ago so other these we
are going to lunch in I think 4 weeks a
very good jacket so and here we have
kind of a meeting SL podcast room yes
very good for creating content to hold
strategy sessions with uh all our
managers for example or to bring in
Partners if we have like uh
relationships or these uh big
negotiations going on yeah we take this
spot as well as in my penthouse that you
saw in the in the last video we have
here a nice fireplace even nicer even
nicer we must say how much did this
fireplace cost 2 and a2k 2 and a2k
honestly in total to get everything done
in this office like 150k maybe 200k even
to get everything done so but it was uh
well well worth it so we even threw a a
very nice opening party here a month or
so ago uh after we uh crushed it with
Black Friday and one of the things I
also like here I can just park the car
in front of the office you know so you
you see what you're working on let's uh
let's check
upstairs there you have sky sky comes
with us everywhere you know she even has
her own little spot here in the corner
doesn't annoy anyone everyone loves that
dog no great you see it icon Amsterdam
the brand that I founded in 2018 as a
drop ship store in the beginning but
look what manifested right now so that
just shows you what can happen when you
put your hat down and you stay in the
game you know I think what makes our
brand very good is of course the team
we've built but also that we are deeply
in the game you know uh we got a very
good Network we see what is working with
other brands we do a lot of uh research
competive analysis here at the office

here's where uh where it happens you
know it was uh amazing for example last
Black Friday we have the big screen
there we had the numbers up there the
amount of Life visitors at the moment
and then uh yeah it was uh touchdown so
uh no it's very good we got all people
working on different things it's Friday

because um we have even more spots
coming here we have now 10 spots
downstairs also four extra spots are
coming in a meeting room so yeah enough

yeah some interior designers we hired
ourselves we came up with the ideas
ourselves what we liked what style is it
that we want to go for this how first it
was all empty it was only concrete so
nothing was in there not even the floors
so it took us like more than 6 seven
months to make everything perfectly but
now everything is finished and we had a
good office opening everybody enjoyed
good especially Kai here enjoyed the
party good he sipped on a little bit too
much of the class daul but uh that's
that can happen when you work at Icon so
yeah great man work hard play harder you

I'm head of design at Icon mam been
working here for now for about uh 6
months it's been crazy awesome crazy
busy yeah we're just heading heading
forward up the team spirit is is the
yeah man it's pretty dopee what what is
the most uh exciting thing you what
would you say you got working on right
now the exciting part is obviously
making lots of money we got a lot of uh
great best sellers coming up we have in
store actually so basically the job is
to now expand it and uh yeah just you
know build on that and uh we working
also on a really cool uh yeah for the
first time show to the peeps an icon
active range yeah it's going to you know
our clientele really loves to go to the
gym they like to look good they like to
look fresh so we want to give them
something to go to the gym in and not
only the gym but give them a 24/7 look
as well so that after the gym they can
go grab a coffee or they can go shopping
and they can uh yeah rock on some great
looking clothing sick stuff man so uh
Angelo is doing great head of design so
what we have here Mark I'm Mark I'm uh
the media buyer at icon for the Facebook
ads and also responsible for the contact
for the HS we are just now creating some
new uh ads creative testing some new
strategies last 7 Days uh we spent like
75k uh and we have like row as like uh
3.7 we scale down a bit normally we're
at the Double ad span but uh as you see
now still we have very healthy rows so
for example here Germany rows four here
Netherlands row 3.6 on high budget uh
USA 4.5 uh 2.4 and you see all these
healthy rowes so we're just crushing it
with the S lately but not lately always
yeah Mark how is it working at Icon yeah
really nice I think we have a really
good mindset everybody everybody's
working every day so hard uh that we
work um yeah like 8 n hours in a in a
day sometimes 10 sometimes 12 especially
with the Black Friday month that was
crazy and yeah the numbers what we did I
think everybody's going to going to
dream about it but we did it just got
his driving license just got driver's
license so uh yeah what do you do so uh
I'm uh I'm the head of content at Icon
Amsterdam so I'm responsible for all the
video content all the videos that has
been edited so we also work with edit
henc that also edit for us I started
working here at Icon I think uh last
year what did you start it as what uh
what role I started as customer service
worked in customer service for a long
time and then uh I met some Ruben and
then I asked if I can come to the office
and so of course I can come to the
office and then I met T also the team
was still very small just saw some
opportunities in uh video editing and
started with helping with that
eventually got more in involved into the
marketing and the video editing and now
I'm the head of content and uh yeah it's
it's an amazing ride for me so last year
I was still in school and now I'm out of
content at I in Amsterdam and working
with Dro out no I didn't dropped out I I
finished my my half as you call it in
Netherlands work for for someone Ruben
it's uh best school you can have
you hear it you hear it here so uh okay
so many things going on here at the
office here T for example T what are you
working on man uh now I'm working on the
on the bundle deals these are um
fictional numbers for now but uh as you
can see this is example of an ad we're
going to create bundle deals from uh
from the T-shirt the muscle t-shirt in
different colors so we make this as a
gift at that it pops
over also working on it for the anonio
sip also this the because you don't see
uh the back of the of the shirt so what
I did was uh yeah just very simple uh
made it gray made the cut out of here
place it on top add a shadow to create
more depth and then you have this from
more zoomed out it looks very natural
and clean and then uh yeah change the
color of from this so it's all the same
uh same sweater yeah make a nice outfit
because can you tell the people what
your role is at uh I I'm full
responsible for the Emil marketing and
also for design what kind of results
were you able to do for us with the
eemil Mark we can show so yeah this was
from uh last quarter 24 so total revenue
was 8 million cio's attributed Revenue
was 44%
3.55 million so yeah we did very good
job on that also I can show the best
performing email click rate was 26% this
was on the Monday what do I see here the
table oh BMW

just got a new car very happy with it so
BMW they they want to see it they want
to see it they want to see it of course

yeah just drifting away and not being on
your purpose so caring what other people
think only watch entertainment
procrastinating losing focus on your
purpose this really shows that uh once I
written this down and me and Ruben we
kept standing our ground with these
principles everything changed so make a

do it doesn't matter where you work or
what you do but what does matter is that
you grow in life you know that's also
why I try to show you some of the people
that work here because they started from
zero and uh for example we just checked
at Di and his car started at zero and
there are many here that are also now
materializing their dream future so if
it's in a company or with your own
business just look at yourself man and
look what can change what are you not
proud of because every day every uh
every morning when I wake up I think
where do I want to be better and even at
this stage I still do it so come on man

drug in this day and age and also we got

and I was researching About Drop
Shipping and what to sell and then I
stumbled across uh the Furnishing Niche
and then uh I saw this product we were
like holy [ __ ] we need to sell this [ __ ]
and me and Ruben we are like okay let's
build a crazy store around this what did
we do we ordered a sample took pretty
long and then I had to pay like €400 in
import TX so I was like what the [ __ ] is
this but we cannot drop ship this we
wanted to drop ship it this big of a box
came in heavy as [ __ ] was like 50 kg or
something crazy and we was like [ __ ] man
but that dream no we cannot sell this
[ __ ] so we didn't sell it we had that
box and I just threw it somewhere in in
my home when we were moving to the
penthouse we found that box we still

of lamps uh not 100,000 but in Revenue
100,000 of lamps uh with my Drop
Shipping Store first I started selling
wall art and and paintings after I sold
like lamps I did pretty solid with that
almost 1 million in Revenue you but the
only thing was that was like 21 2021 I
still didn't have much experience with
e-commerce so I lost a lot of money uh
on the back end because I didn't have
customer service people I didn't had a
good uh structure I didn't handle my
disputes because I was still young and
reckless but I learned a lot from it so
processing uh a lot through CLA you know
after pay so that was also something to
look at you know uh your backand is very
important making profits is one thing
thing keeping profits it's a second so
let's uh check downstairs here we have
the kitchen when we first moved in here
the kitchen was all white but uh I Got
It Made matte black with marble details
that of course stands for uh the the
brand in 2018 I started using this black
and white marble or white and black the
other way around before everyone started
copying that [ __ ] but uh yeah fits the
brand so very happy with that as well so
here we have uh the quarterly plans
mostly what we put here is certain dates
such as uh Chinese New Year or Black
Friday or things going down things when
we are dropping products or new
collections so the whole team has a
clear oversight of when what is going to
come so we can all uh adapt on that with
our own strategies very good to have
Clarity in your
business that was the office man of a
brand that does 20 million a year and I
don't show this for my myself matter of
fact I don't show this to just make a
video and get likes or get subscribers
no I show this for you man I want you to
get inspired man I would have never
expect myself to end up here I started
from my mom's house just in my bedroom
grinding behind the laptop typing [ __ ]
in how can I drop ship how can I sell
products so this must inspire you to the
core I'm 24 years old we expect to
double Revenue this year so maybe we'll
grow out of this office who knows
