door hinge bolts are those the final

ones okay those are the bolts but now

we've got to get washers are these

quarter 20s so the first hole

it fits through the tubing on the cab

but trying to see if it it doesn't fit

through the tub of it so I think we're

have to go to the next size yeah that

one fits perfect now it doesn't want to

come back out cuz of the foam but then

this hole so those ones are like welded

they drilled it and then welded it but

these ones just so it won't fit in that

so we'll have to do two different bolt

sizes and let Robbie wants to just do

that size all the way around that one's

too big okay that one will well so that

one will go through the tubing of bomb's

cab but not through the bottom this one

will all the way through but this one on

the two outside holes goes through

everything goes through everything will

that go through the holes on some of

them yes so then let's do two of these

and then six of these six of yeah cool

m10s out so the way this works is you

start everything before you tighten it

oh yeah this SU is not like line

up um let me see the 38 washers they're

going to have to take this all apart at

Matt's but that's their problem not

this I'm going to do headlights plates

at Hill Belly being all efficient and

take this back to MX

splice it I think I want to see if I can

take a notch out of it and Contour it so

I force it it'll have a smudge but I

to put a seal right here across the back

and then this is going to come down the

the outside all cleaned up and ceramic

coat it all right so Heath's got all the

glass done and he's going to take off so

Side autog Glass out of Nei Utah he does

everything automotive glass so we have

gotten as far as we can get today

tomorrow we got Kevin from powdered

extreme Coatings Bringing Down the

engine and he's bringing us all the door

latches and yeah so we're basically at a

standstill we want to wait until we're

completely done to do any of the ceramic

coating and all that cuz we've got to

final clean it so we're going to do that

tell it snowed and it got warmer and

we've just got this slushy water crap

that's like really gloomy but what's not

gloomy is that Kevin from Powder extrems

just pulled in with the engine for Bombi

did it up cuz I can see through the

plastic wrap and it looks good so we'

got Fred all fired up it's been warming

up we're going to going to go and pick

this out of the back of Kevin's truck

and get it inside where it's warm so we

can get the rest of bomie finished get

that thing ceramic coated and get ready

to take it back to mat all right let's

powder coater he's an LS engine building

extraordinaire I wouldn't go that far

but I love the OS engine so pretty happy

this it's got the dod delete now and

it's got the Kevin it's reilt top to

bottom now so what all have you done to

it so pretty much obviously we we were

going to just do the dod delete put a

cam in it you know put all the stuff on

it for the D DOD delete but once I got

the heads off it had some scarring in a

bunch of the cylinders so we I called he

a and talked to him about just doing a

full rebuild we sent the crank out

crank's been polished um line H home the

block board the block um and new parts

all the way back up so she she's as good

as new not only is bombie going to be

new but the heartbeat is going to be new

everything on this thing is going to be

brand new so it just needs turbos Matt

yeah needs a couple hair dryers so cool

we've got our lock our lock nuts on and

we've got our latch or our lock back in

our latch handle so we got one together

getting this panel bolted on so I've

just about got my bolts started and then

I can start getting them tightened up so

it's kind of a tedious little process

but yeah we'll get it so once I get that

taken care of we'll go get these latches

installed I've got the new Matts

off-road recovery decals sitting right

there do I get to put one on no no I

will you're the one that put the Crooked

P I will go ahead and install those

P runner on okay Robbie gave me the task

of putting the door latches

in so I'm hoping not to screw this up

door latch we've got to use short bolts

down on the bottom and longer bolts on

top so I just went and grabbed some of

those we're using quarter in stainless

steel button heads they're going to look

good on this black and then we're going

to use a washer and lock note on the

back side and again using our food grade

antise

cooking oil hold on let me get this

subside insert and then we'll spread

some cooking oil on it well if that's

case joh we grab the pan spray yeah go

grab some Pam that's Pamela

spray I'm just dropping stuff left and

and get these tightened up then we just

know who went with him but I assume it's

his friends and family anyway so once he

gets back hopefully we already have the

seals we'll get those installed and

we'll get this thing back to them but

for now we need to clean the outside cuz

now we've got to ceramic coat it now the

reason we want to ceramic coat this is

this is going to be in wet conditions

basically its entire life and the

ceramic coating just makes every single

thing hydrophobic so we're going to do

all the glass we're going to do all the

rubber we're going to do all the outside

pretty much anything that can get wet on

this we're going to sheram it coat but

before we can do that got decals that

need to go on I'm going to show you guys

a little life hack a little trick

okay look what we had made okay that's

some Matt off-road recovery decals made

but I had three made you want to know

why so when I screw up I have a spare

because I'm bound to make

mistakes like always so we'll Center up

this door we're going to get our

deckles installed I call call them

decals but a lot of people call them

deal what do you call them you better

let us know in the comments anyway I'm

really happy with the way everything's

coming

happy I was thinking about putting one

up here but it's going to be covered by

the winch and then I think it would just

look kind of gy so we're only going to

put them on the doors Robbie I got my

side done I figured you did well come

you so we just want to get our panel all

cleaned up so we can make it dirty so

we're just using some glass cleaner here

so what I want to do now is I'm going to

Center this in the door so I'm going to

put a piece of

tape I'm put a piece of tape here and

put a piece of tape on that

rubber and then I will find my Center on

the

decal so it's 30 9 and 3/4 that's going

to be

15 19 and a half 19 and

3/4 so I'm going to hurry and find my

centers on all of this I think that will

work hand me the

deal all right so here's what we want to

do now now we want to line up the

stickers not go on there straight no

they go on an angle so we actually had

to use a jack and raise the back so the

well oh I bumped it still centered so we

had to use a jack to bring Bombi up so

we could get all our centers correct so

that is where we are going to put Mount

Offroad recovery on bom's door so

normally I would do this dry with no

spray but I want to try to be perfect

today just today yeah just today you try

to be perfect every day that's why we

have such a good name for the auto body

industry why I always fall short I've

got my decal installation spray stuff

that actually a fan sent us it's called

rapid Tac but we've used this in the

shop a ton but this specific bottle came

from a fan or the company I don't know

who sent it but thank you for sending

itang and you have to like get

aggressive with it and really smack it

smells good um I need a microfiber so

what I like to do you can see it out of

the bottom you just want to squeegee all

the liquid

out and I like to wipe all the stuff off

wipe wipe it wipe it and then we'll undo

this side look at that if we just go

right through look at look at how

perfect that is it goes right next to

the r right up the sliver and I didn't

even mean to do that look at it you did

such a good job hillbilly thank you now

that we've done one side we know right

where our Center is get this all peeled

off don't ask me what kind of sorcery or

witchcraft this is that allows for this

to not stick until you squeegee it but

it works I don't know the science behind

it you aside from all our Easter eggs

everywhere this looks great and I even

have an extra now we'll get the outside

of this all cleaned up so we can ceramic

coat it all right so the time has

finally came we are going to ceramic

coat Bombi in its entirety so hillbilly

is going to start working on the top I'm

going to start working on the front e

yours going down the side Matt will

thank us

crap I don't know if you can see it but

you can I can see the windshield is

starting to Rainbow but now that I've

got the entire front applied I'm going

to give it 5 minutes and I'm going to

start buffing mine off all right so I

went ahead and got the entire passenger

side all coated now to do a unit of this

size with one person it's probably going

to take you about an hour to 2 hours

maybe but there's three of us and we've

done this lots and lots of times so

we're able to do it pretty quickly this

is probably going to be about a 45

minute process the front's rainbowed so

I'm going to start buffing the whole

front off Colton just got his side

applied so we're going to let that sit

and then I just got the other side

applied so we're going to let that sit
