smly off from the inner diameter of this

tube it might just be the fact that I

like welded it or hit it on the edge to

get it in there the little sleeve and it

widened it a little bit but it's not

fitting so I'm just going to warm the

tip of this up and it should go right on

inner diameter to fit around my inserts

the whole go-kart is lengthened quite a

bit um by a foot now I'm really happy

with all this and how it turned out I'd

say it's probably my best thought out

planned thing I've done so far I'm I'm

going to make a brace that goes here and

ties into somewhere around here I think

to Mount the engine a little easier cuz

I'll have two bars coming here and then

I can build something off of them to

mount the top of the engine

on on how I can make this stronger and

Brace it first I was going to make a

just a straight bar that went from here

to there but I figured I'd surprise

Ethan and do some bending so this is

some very basic bending it's the same

kind of style that I used on the

because it's going to allow me to make a

mount from this bar to this mount on the

engine and then I'm just going to take a

bar from here cross here and make two

little dingly mounts that go here and

hold this and it will drop the engine

down a little bit and give us a better

situation for our chain because right

now that angle is pretty steep but if it

drops down like an inch it'll be a lot

better all

right something kind of like that now I

just got to make sure that my notches

line up because I'm not known for being

very good at notching

still for you guys it's probably

once we got this brace bar that's going

to be for the lower mounts of this so

there's just going to make two little

tabs one there one there b through that

will hold that part of the

engine and then I got to come up with

something for the top of the engine but

pretty simple stuff and I've done this

exact amount before on the shopping cart

so I stayed after work a little bit and

crafted up these mounts on

CAD

and they're holding pretty good they're

just tacked on there so I can kind of

move the engine where I want that brings

me to my next point I'm going to be

building the exhaust today it looks good

dude it's pretty much the shopping cart

design but refined I I was telling the

people that I use the shopping cart

design because I know it's strong yeah

and tubes I I was telling them that

tubes are nice and when they're bent

Ethan's happy so bent the tubes and you

don't need to know anything about

engineering it's just triangles are a

strong shape triangles are a strong

shape if you're building something just

make it all triangles and it will work

out I just guessed and I thought that

this looked like 1 in and then I

remembered it's probably from China so

it's probably metric so will busted out

the calipers and this axle changes uh

size depending on where you measure it

1.19 one here is 1.17

1.1 wow it really changes and it's

warped already so you can imagine what

putting more power into this thing's

going to be super simple cuz it's going

to go off that that bar right there at

going to have it slide up and down so it

this is is not the chain tensioner Mount

but it needs to be a square with a long

hole in it like

boys just loosen this bolt and slide

this up and down where you want it and

on I'd say this is the most simple chain

tensioner and probably the prettiest

you're supposed to be able to steer this

one um but the guy said that his brother

was taking control of the cart too much

so he snapped this piece off I'd assume

it just broke but he didn't give it to

us I don't I don't know what his plan

was here he cut this off the steering

removed it but that's something I would

have done back in the day so I

understand um but it was just missing a

couple pieces like this he joint so I

put a he joint here like that one and

then I'm just going to basically recraft

it together so you could steer it with

two people cuz that's kind of the whole

point of this thing that's going to be

truly horrific and F with the power of a

600cc street bike motor behind you it is

going your passenger just well passenger

your co- driver's just like

machine for everyone you can take your

ground out that's the thing I've been

saying about all my projects I really
