you know I have to say as somebody who is I don't  want to say busy it's uncomfortable when people  

say they're busy as someone who has a fair amount  of plates they have to juggle I know what it's  

like to track time I know how important it is at a  business as well the track time as I've worked on  

many clients and I get billable hours making that  money this is also uncomfortable for me so that's  

why I'm gonna break down for you the top five time  tracking apps that you can use for your business  

or your personal needs right now one that I  recommend for either personal or business use is a  

toggle track so the pricing on this one is pretty  solid it's starting at zero dollars and then ends  

up going up to about nine or eighteen dollars a  month depending on what you need I personally do  

pay for this for the nine dollars a month version  for my notion Consulting business as we track the  

hours that we spend on the clients that we have  the nice thing about this is that you're able to  

have different things like reports that showcase  the different billable hours that you've spent on  

different clients as well as being able to track  the specific hours we spent across different  

projects and then using this as well as some API  connections I'm able to make other reports and  

things like Google looker Studio to see the kind  of like dollar per hour that we're getting out of  

the clients based on how much I'm getting paid and  I will say that this application is pretty great  

because it has really good Integrations great for  Google Calendar iCal and Outlook and toggle even  

has native Integrations with things like toggle  plan which is their planning software as well as  

Asana which is a great project in task management  app it also has a great zapier connection which  

allows me to automatically create new projects  for any new clients that start with us at rise  

productive you're able to go to here and then  quickly be able to grab something like this and  

assign the calls that you have with people two  different projects so I could quickly put this  

to a client of mine and it's a very convenient  workflow overall great mobile app great install  

on the computer as well being able to open this  up and type in what you're working on and just  

press start and stop it's got a great timeline  view overall this is my number one recommendation  

for everyone's General needs number two and a very  interesting one that is going to run you uh either  

zero dollars for just a session only timer  and then a 10 a month for the entirety of the  

application it's a very unique time tracker that  allows you to see exactly how you're spending your  

time on your computer so you can see here it's  showing these different work blocks but what it's  

essentially doing is in the background as you're  working on your computer it will track the way  

that you're spending time on your computer you can  set when it's going to track the different things  

that you're doing so that you can only have it  happening during work hours and then it could also  

detect when you're like idle and computer is not  really working it's also got meeting detection and  

can integrate with your Google calendar or Outlook  calendar which is very convenient as you can see  

see it's got a really interesting categorical  report that showcases like the amount of hours  

I had different apps and websites open which then  if we like drill deeper into it allows me to see  

you know how much deep work I was getting done  so this is a very interesting analytical tool  

to be like yeah I was really spending a lot of  time on YouTube Studio looking at my analytics  

or just watching YouTube videos or video editing  or working in notion and then from a baseline it  

also has a little timer here so you can you know  like start a little timer and track things as well  

and it's got a little uh music integration here  which is very cute that's something that a lot  

of people like I'm trying to be productive so  it's got options between like Lo-Fi beats Jazz  

Lounge little space Ambiance coffee shop noise  very cool stuff for a Time tracking app for sure  

you're also able to track specific projects and  timelines as well and overall it's just a really  

cool application to see whether you're getting  focused work done or if you're jumping between  

a lot of different applications number three  is clockify now clockify I to be frank is a  

watered-down version of toggle well that's what it  that's what it feels like I have an entire video  

on toggle versus clockify and it really does feel  like just a watered-down worst UI version of the  

toggle I don't know how to I mean if I log into  this you're gonna look at it be like oh I get it  

if you look here this is a very similar way that  you're able to input your data into this or you  

can do it based off of a calendar it's got less  Integrations but very similar structure of even  

the sidebar and whatnot so I I don't really  well I don't I don't not recommend clockify  

because it is like cheaper options than toggle  and it's not always about how the app looks it's  

not as expensive that's a positive if you want  to take a look at the pricing there is a little  

bit more of like the the business side of it with  the whole like forecasting expenses and that kind  

of tracking but if you're using it for personal  use it's just like a worse looking version so  

yeah it's not bad though it's definitely a solid  option with things like EPS tracking and whatnot  

if you're productive and professional who needs to  do that side of stuff next we got Harvest which is  

a Time tracking app that I've had to use at work  before and honestly it's very basic you get a lot  

for for a little amount of pricing here uh 10 and  80 cents for unlimited seats and projects pretty  

great if you're running a company integration  wise it does work with things like Google  

Calendar Asana slack QuickBooks stripe a lot of  the Baseline stuff it's a very simple and easy  

to use time tracking application and when I'm at  work I literally just put in the amount of hours I  

spend on different clients per week and call it a  day so I gotta say if you're looking for something  

that's ridiculously cheap as a business owner and  trying to track like hmm are we getting the most  

effective use of our time yeah maybe maybe check  out Harvest last but not least we have paymo which  

is like a project management and time management  tool it's got canned man boards to-do lists  

spreadsheets but it also integrates all of  those sort of things with time tracking so  

it's a way to to sort of manage your team's  task and project management workflow while  

also having the time tracking Associated to it  with that kind of system having those two kind  

of time tracking and Reporting things in tandem  can be very convenient so I do appreciate this  

paymotrack records like what you're doing on your  computer and generates a little bit of a timesheet  

activity based on that and you know having those  things integrated with your task management it's  

sort of a mix between what toggle and Rise was  but is solid for your business and the cost of  

this is for free you get unlimited time tracking  and invoices but you are more limited on the  

task side but for five dollars a month you get a  little bit of an upgrade of usage and you get some  

Integrations and then for 9.95 you're starting  to get the unlimited tasks and recurring tasks  

so this this thing 9.95 essentially if you're  a business that wants to have automated time  

tracking mixed in with the task management system  I check this out and then if if you want to go  

all in on things like project Gantt charts and  you know like employee leave and and whatnot and  

figuring out workflows for getting your employees  time off as well as their overall schedule and  

workload management then you can check it out for  21 a month but this one's sort of an interesting  

mix of a couple different apps and I would  check it out if you're a small or medium-sized
