after talking about these 10 points in every TV review.

Samsung Vivid, Vivid Pro, and Vision Pro

are all the same TVs with the same looks.

You will get to see a thin bezel design.

The back is made of plastic.

If you look from the side, the TVs are very slim.

You will get plastic stands in the box.

When you install it,

the installation team will bring a wall mount for you.

If you need it, then the wall mounting will be done

and along with that, you get this remote control.

If you buy Vision Pro or Vivid Pro,

you will get a voice remote with a solar charging feature.

If you buy the normal Vivid, which is the 2024 model only,

the only difference is that

you won't get a solar charging remote

and there won't be a voice feature.

You have to keep this in mind.

Samsung's TVs now have two types of panels.

For the first time, Samsung has started giving

both IPS and VA panels in this range only.

You can buy any range, i.e. Vivid, Vivid Pro, or Vision Pro.

If you buy 43' and 50' sizes, you will get a VA DLED panel.

And in 55', 65', and above sizes,

you will get an IPS DLED panel.

In these, peak HDR, no matter what size,

is approximately 230 nits, that came in our testing.

But because between VA and IPS panels

there is a difference in the contrast ratio,

you will get a contrast ratio of the VA panel

of 2800:1 approximately

and you will get a contrast ratio of the IPS panel

of approximately 800:1.

This contrast ratio is not too much,

but I will tell you how blacks come from it later.

My expectations were much higher

for the contrast of the VA panel

and I am not disappointed at all.

You get a very good contrast

but the numbers are not that good.

2800:1, these are not very good numbers

but you won't have any problem with blacks.

The same goes for the IPS panel also and this is surprising.

800:1 is not the very best contrast ratio.

Generally, IPS panels in budget-range TVs,

we also see a contrast ratio of 1100:1,

like we get in LG TVs.

But in these panels of Samsung,

good IPS panels have been used.

Even if the contrast ratio numbers are less,

you get a very good contrast.

You get some details in black too.

And if you ask me personally,

I liked the IPS panel of Samsung more.

And it sounds a little weird to hear

that Samsung's IPS panel is better and it is a fact.

You will get more details in Blacks in this

and you will be able to feel and see that

because you will get different variations of Blacks.

You will get this in the 43' or 50' VA panel

but much less than the IPS panel.

You have to keep that in mind.

And the reason for these good Blacks

is Mega Contrast Ultra HD Dimming

which is a feature of Samsung

and they have used it on all these TVs.

And you should not compare it with Micro or Local Dimming.

They sound the same, but it is a software feature

which artificially enhances the contrast in these TVs.

But at the end of the day,

you are getting good results and it is a good thing.

When we checked the color gamut of these TVs,

we found that it was 99% sRGB.

But that is not very important.

For us, 81% sRGB is important.

If you look at the color graph very carefully,

i.e. look at the gamut very carefully,

then you will see that all three colors are a little oversaturated.

But in our eyes, green and red are a little oversaturated.

And it is a difference from the last year's model

in which blue was very oversaturated

and these panels looked artificially very bright.

It was an optical illusion till models of 2023

which have been changed this year.

The panels have been changed this year

and that is a very good thing.

You won't feel bad

about the over-optimization of green and red.

The over-optimization of blues can deceive your eyes.

But these colors will look a little punchy, a little vivid

and I didn't find this saturation at all bad.

This is not a natural color profile.

You can tune them but I would not advise.

You can only change the preset modes

and enjoy different color profiles.

In these TVs, you also get a filmmaker mode

which tries to give a movie hall type of experience.

It is good but it is not the best.

Overall, if we talk about picture quality,

then picture quality is satisfying.

It is satisfactory because the dynamic range is good.

You get depth in some colors, you enjoy it.

You get some details

in both the areas of darkness and brightness.

If I talk about motion blur,

then there is not much improvement from the last year.

If you are watching any sport,

suppose you are watching cricket,

then the cricket ball will look a little blurry and that is a fact.

Whether you use a motion accelerator

that works as MEMC in Samsung TVs or not,

you won't get much satisfaction from it.

And the basic reason is that this is a budget-range TV.

Samsung has tried to improve this through software

which I can't say is very effective.

If we look at the viewing angles

then in the VA panel, you don't get very good viewing angles

and that is obvious.

You will get to see 25-30% color loss on extreme sides

but if you look at the IPS panel

which you will get to see in 55-65 inches

in that, you will get very good viewing angles

and that is also once again obvious

because the viewing angles of the IPS panel are just fantastic.

You will get a 10% color and brightness loss,

even on extreme sides.

Now it's your choice which panel you want to buy or what size

of TV you want. The type of panel depends on the size of the TV.

I got to see a little bit of banding in the small-size TVs,

in all these TVs, but in 55' and 65' sizes,

you will get almost no banding.

So what's the reason for this?

Banding is also seen in very good sharp picture quality

also in videos on Netflix and Prime Video.

The reason for this is that it is a budget-range TV.

It doesn't have much brightness

and the colors are not optimized very well.

Overall, if we talk in a nutshell, the panel is not the best

and this is obvious because this is a budget-range TV.

As always, you get Tizen OS in Samsung TVs but this time,

this is the latest version of Tizen OS

which you will get to see in all the Samsung TVs in 2024.

Now this time, you will get a completely

different button for live channels, not a button,

but you can select it in a completely different way

from the home screen of the OS and that is good.

You will get all the OTT apps pre-downloaded in Tizen OS

We enjoyed the HDR10+ content a lot

because the details were very good.

As I told you, small-sized TVs i.e. 43' and 50' TVs

will give a little bit of banding in very rich content as well,

in HDR10+ content as well which was slightly disappointing

but I don't expect much from these TVs

because they are budget-range TVs.

I didn't face any problems with Netflix's Dolby Vision content.

All those play in HDR but that is completely fine

because I am getting good punchy details in the colors,

they are punchy colors, they are lively colors.

Yes, they are not natural at all.

They are a little oversaturated

which I have already told you in the picture quality

but all in all, I can say that with the performance of

Prime Video, Netflix, and Hotstar in this TV,

I am very much satisfied, it is very good.

This TV plays the content of Set Top Box very well.

We didn't face any problems.

We tried to run news channels in SD channels

and in HD channels also ran many types of channels

and we didn't face any problems.

The upscaling capabilities of these TVs are good.

You can expect them to show you

you can see acceptably good picture quality which is fine.

And you will get to see similar upscaling

in every budget range TV and Samsung TVs are no different.

In Samsung's TV's you will get Auto Low Latency Mode

i.e. ALLM along with HGIG support.

And it is good because if you want to play games

then you can get HDR gaming in these TV's.

You get an HDMI 2.1 eARC port but that is only one.

If you connect the PS5 to it then you will get HGIG support.

You can do this gaming in HDR,

you will get very low input lag.

Input lag would be somewhere around 10 milliseconds.

It can be plus or minus 3-4 milliseconds,

but we didn't feel any lag while gaming.

There is absolutely no lag whatsoever.

We are very satisfied with the overall casual gaming,

with the performance of this TV,

rather with the performance of both TVs.

In Samsung TVs, you get 20W down-firing speakers

which sounds average.

If you have a Samsung Q-Symphony soundbar,

it will virtually connect with this TV.

And you will get to hear audio

from both the soundbar and TV speakers.

This is only applicable

with the Samsung Q-Symphony soundbars.

If you have any other Samsung soundbar

or any other brand soundbar, then this feature won't work.

Overall, I'll say the audio quality is average.

Now let's talk about the pros of this TV.

According to me, the solar charging remote given in this TV,

that is the major change that you will feel when you see it

but actually, the panel is very good and completely different.

As you saw, this is the first time

Samsung has used the IPS panel.

This VA panel is also completely different.

Their picture quality has been completely changed.

Their color calibration is completely different.

Until last time, i.e. till 2023,

you used to get very oversaturated blue

which used to give you the illusion that TVs are very bright.

Now that illusion will not be there.

You will now get punchy colors.

Now you will feel that the colors are very bright.

It's a little different dynamic range

and it is on a good or a better side.

You also get good blacks.

And to my surprise,

in the IPS panel with a contrast ratio of 800:1,

you will also get good contrast.

The blacks are really beautiful and with details.

If I compare these TVs in my mind,

I only compare them with this range of TVs.

It cannot be compared

with let's say higher range TVs or Black aren't like OLED TVs.

This is a normal TV, a budget TV.

According to that, it justifies its cost.

And Samsung TVs are known to last for long.

That's why I think these TVs are recommended.

It took us about a month to make this video.

We put these TVs in extreme testing

and played every type of content on both the TVs.

And with this testing,

we were able to tell you with such parameters

that everything is different on these TVs, in different panels.
