Transcripts
who would have thought another video
this quickly since the last episode
clearly not you nor I but uh we got to
make a change right we got to become
consistent and that's what we're going
to do we're going to record uh living
life and having fun so that's what this
video is going to be it's been quite a
bit time since I've recorded and just
enjoyed recording and I wanted to get
that last video out which I did and I
didn't look at any of the comments I
made my beautiful girlfriend Ally read
the comments because I knew I know I
already show about some of them I know
there's going to be some hate which I
expected trust me if I was watch a
YouTuber consistently he stopped you
know I'd [ __ ] give my little troll
comments or truthful comments to be
exact so I was like you know what not
going to read them I'm just going to
keep uploading keep doing my thing
because all I got to do is be me and I
had to be me off camera and be me in
camera I don't know I'm with that but so
what were some of the comments babe
basically just people like telling you
the truth like telling you exactly what
we had talked about because you guys
don't know this but we had had kind of
like a little bit of a mindset talk D
we're getting little soft and [ __ ] it's
not soft I'm not going to like I'm not
going to say what we were saying but we
were having a mindset talk of being like
hey you got to do what you got to do and
you can't worry about other people other
people right which I'm going to dive
into with my own brain to explain what
was going through my head so when I was
younger and I was doing the uh the
social media right crazy like mad
support and I still get that support to
this day which I love and appreciate
and obviously when I started doing this
whoa Al you're hold it because the
shit's all screwed when I started uh
doing it the industry film YouTube
Fitness scene was much smaller much more
Niche than it is now and there has been
a big influx of people doing it which is
great OB I love the more the marrier uh
the more people that you know can choose
this lifestyle whether it's a healthy
one or not it's just you know
bodybuilding healthy not healthy
whatever I just know bring much
happiness to me in my everyday life
being able to work out and and get that
excitement going to the gym so people
that start going to the gym like I see
the high schoolers now going like I'm
all happy for that all for that but what
I've seen with other just content
creators coming up and influx is just
everything now is just so money driven
it's a money driven place where I see
I'm not completely fully money driven
into this where sure I can put my hands
in other aspects and selling other [ __ ]
to get make more money as all social
media is nowadays it's just like a money
driven place so and I see other people
who are more successful than me in this
Spa I kind of get in my head I'm like
[ __ ] they're more successful and like I
kind of lost the love for the social
media aspects of it because I wasn't up
to par with these other people that were
killing it um there are some people that
are real with it some people aren't and
for some reason the people that aren't I
was letting get in my head just by
seeing how good they were doing and by
being
sleazy so I know I should have let that
affected me but honestly it was a big
thing in my own head that was kind of uh
[ __ ] me up last video I edited all by
myself I had fun with it you guys don't
get my humor it's so upsetting I've
noticed with this Instagram post YouTube
post I did a divorce dad Rock thing I'm
cut in the grass and I put some photos
me and Ally and my friend Frank went to
a there only one person that didn't get
there one person you're going to
understand my humor right now all right
went to a Limp Biscuit [ __ ] concert
Fred dur sucked love Lim biscuit used to
sing his I say let's sing those songs I
love them but dude he did like he would
sing a song and like I think I forgot my
headphones lipis for you today he would
sing a song and then have like a six
minute intermission of like playing
another song of another band and they
have kids up on stage and I made a joke
sing it was nothing like Woodstock 99
which clearly that thing was crazy my
keeps going this way I just break your
[ __ ] face tonight give
me me wish I could be alive during that
time but I have a very sarcastic tone of
Personality it's like you know explain
it people can't get your humor unless
you show it on camera well yeah but
we're about to go to the gym we're
matching like the uh cute couple we
are I'm really now email that I don't
have headphones oh
you could use mine can I actually yeah
cuz I have shoulders today and I I don't
hate hitting upper body as long as you
spot me and you're not mean to me this
time like you were last week yeah I I
could spot you today body I don't care
this so last um my training
lately I'm going for strength I never do
that so alli's in spotting me giving me
the proper spot cuz you know some people
you'll give them you know hey help me
from you know the elbows let me do the
rest when I start struggling I'll tell
you like you help me some people will
help you throughout the whole thing and
you're like kind of pissed off she like
I gave you instructions they didn't do
that so Allie's a great Spotter and last
week I go up to him like Hey I'm like
whenever you're free between next set
whatever it is you mind coming to help
your boyfriend out just anger to get
away from me she literally said I tell
you why why because I'm not a [ __ ]
Pro okay and this is my time to grow to
be a pro I got chess today and I started
I think two weeks ago I got 120s for
like six or eight and last week got 130s
for some that's time my camera roll I
have to put that video up and count
it and this week we'll probably touch
the 130s again for maybe a little bit
more reps than last week or maybe just
touch the 140s for fun which I doubt
because I I don't think I'm that strong
but we'll see stop doubting bro all
right start believing what's up guys
back again with another voice over for
this video I'm doing a chest and bicep
workout so I'm going to take you guys
through what I do for chest and as I
mentioned in the last video um in this
training block for a big time in my near
future I'll be focusing on strength uh
so with chess being one of my weaker
points of my physique going to focus on
this and hoping to have different
results because never really focused on
strength so maybe if I focus on some
strength I'll grow some dense tissue in
my chest so here we go I said before I
wanted to try to hit 140s today which
you will see later on if I do or do not
but the way I work up to my heavyweight
here I like to do one set which I didn't
record here of lighter weight like 50 50
lb dumbbells for like eight and then as
I started going up and weight like 50 to
the 70s to the 90s then when 20s I drop
the Reps so when I do 70s I do
six here's me getting high up for the
top set of 140s um here we go how many
going to get 140s
for they're up here we go going down one
oh two
yep three good job a come on
four little help so four by myself and
I'll teas you we got two assisted reps
so we'll count that as four with two
assists because that's what it was so
cool never touched that way before in my
life that felt good to do here's me
thought it looked kind of cool bam good
pose ant good job now I did a back off
set here did 12s a little bit more of a
controlled squeeze it's just a lighter
way you can easy easier to focus on that
mind muscle connection so that's what I
like to go with by my training um as I'm
pyramiding up in my wait to get to my
top set I conserve my reps I conserve my
energy I go all out for that top set for
whatever rep scheme I'm going for for
there I got six and then here my back
off set maybe I got eight or 10 I don't
recall you guys can count um you know a
little bit previously to now and see how
many I did so that's for the first
movement of chest going on this was a
new machine never really tried it out
and it is heavy man there's just some
interesting machines at this gym the gym
brand is called gym 80 which is Gold's
Gym sister company so it's their own uh
yeah equipment company and it was heavy
as [ __ ] this is a plate and a quarter
and I was getting a 3X six here so I
just show the next two sets just sped up
here to prove uh my work so there you go
bam six reps here we go another set
different angle look at that sweat man
that's a hardworking boy right there
trying to grow big ass pecs cool Next
Movement so a lot of pressing here um
this too I mainly just focused on going
heavy I did the full stack here just
pushed as much as I could I think I like
six and then my a [ __ ] here but my palm
started hurting it was just like I don't
know the vertical grip on this just kind
of dug into my hands and it hurt so I
didn't really know what to do there so I
kind of lowered it was able to feel a
little bit better and uh that's what you
guys got to see oh we got a Stringer on
now so this is another movement it's
like a press fly variation so as you can
see my hands are a little bit like
pronated pronated is that supinated
sorry and what I'm doing here I'm kind
of going out wide like a fly but like
scooping my chest I'm really hitting
that lower Peck line feels amazing
amazing I love this I kind of discovered
this a little bit after my show and I've
been doing it ever since big fan of this
and I'll actually do this for like three
sets one heavy set and then the last two
sets I'll do a little bit lighter or
I'll just stay with the same weight but
I'll do a super set here which you will
see in right now so I would preferred to
do a cable fly like this where I'm
scooping my chest in that same exact
motion as just doing with dumbbells but
the good one was taken unfortunately by
a nice gentleman so I had a compensate
with a band like iy was kind of pumping
up backstage going into biceps now arms
I've always trained arms my arms have
been growing so you know I it's unless
you're lead priest you don't really have
crazy big arms at a young age uh it's
just time and patience and you don't
really need heavy weight for arms I
would say triceps I think is a little
bit different story but biceps you don't
really need heavy weight I mean Nick
Walker curls like 35 40 pounds so yeah
take it from him you know top three in
the world I would say this year but here
I am focusing a little bit more on
strength than my whole training block so
I did a heavy set of eight each arm o
here's the thumbnail the video ready bam
yeah kind of gnarly I saw that and I was
like this is good so got that clip but
uh yeah I did eight reps and then uh
three sets of eight that was pretty cool
so preacher curl this was okay I'll be
honest it was like I honestly there was
a better machine inside but I didn't
want to go inside cuz I was drench and
sweat from the humidity and how hot it
was in Tampa that going into that
blasting AC just would gave a chill down
my spine I kind of wasn't looking
forward to so I was like you know what
I'll stay out here kind of do my
preacher curl in here instead of using
the machine I like in there and was it
worth it eh I'll probably go inside next
time and deal with the cold so I put
this in to show you that I give myself a
decent amount of rest so my heart rate
goes back down I catch my breath before
going into my other arm which if you
guys don't do that definitely do because
your second arm or second body part
you're doing in a single body part
movement is going to lack because it
doesn't have adequate rest time as your
first arm did so that's why I included
that what else do I have in this I
honestly forget some assisted reps cool
all right so I finished off with cable
curls cable curls is something I include
pretty much in every arm day I think
it's great to either start with pretty
much start with I don't know why I
didn't start with it today honestly but
I finished with it here um just really
great contraction nice squeeze at this
point is the end of my workout so I was
already going flat which if you don't
have intra carbs I'd highly recommend I
use as huge hug gosh Huges intra card
with eaas and salt 100 G of carbs in my
workout to maintain
[Music]
like that was one of the way better
workouts I've had in a long time
something I made change in my training
program was one training heavier two
training 2 days on one day off and doing
that has made recovery a lot better in
terms of [ __ ] getting in the gym and
actually feeling good being able to want
to train instead of feeling kind of
sluggish so good job anthy actually good
job Ally for suggesting that yeah I was
trying to tell him that like four days
in a row is actually [ __ ] insane yeah
because sure like there is definitely
top level Pros that have done that right
like Jay cut has done that like done
stuff like that but Anthony will always
complain about feeling like [ __ ] and
like not wanting to go to the gym and
then he'll say he doesn't have a good
workout and I'm like well let's be real
you would probably have a better workout
if you just took a rest day and then
trained really hard the next oh yeah so
yeah and that's that's what I do that's
my favorite if I train three days in a
row that third workout is really not
good yeah so thanks Ally for that
something I still need to get a little
bit more on point is my food I need to
start EA
I'm eating like definitely four meals a
day plus my inter Shake which is five
but I need to at least get one or two
more meals in and I actually I was smart
I did I have I have two things I'm
including into my diet in order to get
more food in so when we go home I'll
show you that boom post-workout meal I
mentioned before that I'm struggling to
pretty much eat right now um I just
don't really have the appetite and
chicken and rice sounds super
unappetizing so I kind of use my
knowledge I had through through uh
experience I have with bodybuilding and
I've replicated almost identically
chicken and rice so what I have here is
50 gr of protein from protein way
isolate I have rice krispy cereal which
if you look at the nutrition facts on
the label very low in fat pretty
identical to Rice it's just dried out
rice we have lactose free fat-free milk
and we have fruit so this is super high
in protein super high in carbs very low
in fat and who can't eat a whole box of
cereal one sitting so very easy for me
to eat and this is what I've been doing
right now post-workout in order for me
to get my calories food in and yeah you
are not going to eat that entire plate
of fries right now what's I going to ate
before it a whole steak mhm which it's
mid but
like they need to be
crispier but yes I will all right so I
crisp them up a little bit a little bit
more a little more golden actually looks
really good but while these cool down we
got some oat meal
pies for some extra carbs I just saw my
face and I was like damn it kind of
puffed I was like I really got to do
this I'm not understanding why you're
also having oal pies to be honest more
carbs more carbs next meal you think
next meal next next you think that that
PL of potato is not enough
for no all right what time lapse this oh
there you
go got take a like you just
did you already have enough death around
you you eat like you're a caveman yeah I
can't have water after 4
p.m. are you good
bro so like are you going to tell them
what you're
eating last meal I bought hummusfit I
bought a meal prep company I bought food
so I can eat food
easier which one sound the best I'll
just edit it so I put that
all of them together sound great so I'm
ching with two oatmeal
pies I'm not having a [ __ ] Crispy
Cream are you kidding
me do you want that chest to get bigger
or not yeah it looked pretty good before
yeah you did now eat up it's like 2 days
old need be fresh heat it up in the
microwave and it'll taste great okay
you
