today the PC is getting a major upgrade
my PC has gone through its fair share of
upgrades over the years from new
components new cases you name but the
current build that I have hasn't been
touched in over a year and a half and
today that change before we take a look
at all the brand new components I bought
here is the old PC so it's got a ryzen
75800x a 2070 super 32 gigabytes of RAM
six LL 120 fans and the Corsair compelix
AIO sitting inside the Corsair 465x case
we're reusing a lot of the current Parts
in this PC so here's everything that
we're working with on the right side we
got ndxt's new H9 Elite I was debating
between the H9 flow or the H9 Elite yes
this is significantly more expensive but
you can't tell me that the glass up here
is worth the extra 100 bucks not gonna
lie that's pretty expensive but I think
it'll be worth it next up I picked up
some white Ram over here we have the
NZXT Kraken x73 the reason I didn't get
the z73 is because it was an extra
hundred dollars you may be asking
yourself well if you spend an extra 100
bucks on this case why didn't you spend
an extra 100 on an AIO honestly I'm
impatient and was out of stock and I
really wanted to build this big shout
out to MSI for hooking us up with the
brand new white Trio 470 TI to keep the
all-white theme going we have seven
Total Lean Lee fans to complete the look
that's pretty much everything that we
got for this PC upgrade first thing that
I need to do is actually unplug
everything to get my current PC out of
here
I'm not gonna lie I've never done a PC
case swap in my life my younger brother
has always done it for me so uh this is
gonna be a a little bit of a learning
experience so if I do something wrong
feel free to Flame me in the comments
[Music]
before we continue disassembling the old
PC I thought I'd just like to put into
perspective how much bigger this 4070 TI
is compared to my previous 2070 super I
mean this thing is just it's tiny when
you look at it I never I always thought
this was a bigger card and then you look
at this thing this thing's a monster so
it's gonna look absolutely insane as
well as perform absolutely insanely in
my new pc
[Music]
[Music]
thank you
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
if there's one thing I learned gutting
this case I'm never buying this case
again it is such a small and tight case
and it's so difficult to build in but we
have the motherboard out I cleaned off
the thermal paste off of the CPU as well
as the AIO but for now I'm going to go
ahead and move this case off to the side
unbox the H9 Elite and then we're gonna
start putting everything back
Beast oh my goodness all right I'm
low-key nervous I'm just gonna flip this
around and hope for the best please
nothing break oh
oh my goodness all right let's get it up
on the desk
there we go
does this have like a film oh yeah so we
can get that satisfying ASMR appeal baby
[Music]
foreign
[Music]
making progress on the build something
that I ended up doing with my Ram as you
can see the two white sticks I put on
either side to kind of make it so when
you look at the case from an angle you
see the white sticks but then the two
black sticks have ran from my previous
build I just put in the middle so it's
like a total of like 48 gigabytes of RAM
obviously the difference between 32 and
48 gigabytes of RAM is literally nothing
and it also fills up all four slots on
my motherboard which will make the RGB
pop a lot more but so far though we're
making good progress on the case and
we're gonna get back to work
[Music]
all right
[Music]
so we just got the AIO installed now we
got to change the bracket because I have
an AMD processor this is currently meant
for Intel so we're going to swap that
out thankfully it comes with pre-applied
thermal paste which makes my life a lot
easier because I just realized I didn't
have any extra thermal paste so this
definitely coming in clutch
foreign
making progress I just finished
installing the AIO and it was a lot
harder than I thought Moran was getting
in a way in the way of where I was
plugging in everything and trying to
screw this in with the little spacers I
don't know it just took way longer than
I expected it I probably over
complicated it but I got it in so that's
all that matters and now we gotta keep
pushing along and keep moving
[Music]
so I just finished installing the lean
Lee fans I do need to flip these ones
around because they're facing the
opposite direction this is taking way
longer than I expected I started at
three o'clock and it's now nine o'clock
and I've only taken like one 30 minute
break so this has been a lot more than I
would have expected as you can see my
room is an absolute mess all right it's
currently on day two I was up till about
2 A.M working on this last night I just
kept running into more problems I don't
know why this is so confusing regardless
though at around 2 A.M I did get it to
post which is a great song but as you
can see uh we got a cable manage
everything
all right
so the PC is officially built and cable
managed I'm gonna put this back on my
desk and clean everything off of my desk
I'm probably gonna have to move a lot of
my monitors to the left considering how
big of a machine this is
[Music]
thank you
the PC is officially complete and I am
so happy with how it turned out he's got
delayed but I have three extra lean Lee
fans and I'm gonna be replacing the NZXT
fans with which will mean I'll have a
total of 10 Lee and Lee fans and they'll
all sync together which will look so
good I'm now going to play a few popular
titles just to kind of show you what
this 4070 TI is pushing and what the PC
in general is running spec wise whatever
I stream I always have OBS open so with
all the games that I'm going to be
playing I'm going to run them with OBS
I'm also going to be recording the
gameplay and using that with the footage
I'm recording right now to make it as
accurate as possible for me the first
game that I'm gonna try is actually
fortnite we're kind of Dipping sometimes
below 100 FPS 120 but right now we're
pretty much capped at 240 which is
absolutely insane all right so in the
battle bus right now we're getting
around mid 150s lower 140s 160s which is
really really good let's go ahead and
Hot Drop right here let's go get this
guy let's get some action
let me run you over come here
oh no
oh shoot
no
oh my goodness that was close
holy we gotta heal you guys aren't here
to see my amazing gameplay oh
this kid you're not getting away from me
no
dang it's 12 hp that's wild next up on
the list we have the newest Call of Duty
all right let's run out let's see what
the FPS is like let's pick our Loadout
139 120 140 160. looks like we're
getting mid 100s which isn't bad feels
relatively smooth I'm still getting 144
which is pretty much all that matters
there we go we're feeling it
if you want to know where you at that's
it that's it for Call of Duty that's a
good way to end the last game that we're
gonna try today is valorance currently
getting about 250
300 FPS which isn't terrible so far it
feels way smoother than my um
than my previous card which is awesome
all right where you guys at
there we go maybe a little aceier
was the last dude
no of course last second he gets me
that's pretty much gonna wrap it up for
the game test I guess you could say I
apologize my display capture was a
little bit bugged so if the game looks
darker than what it normally would
that's why but I hope I was able to kind
of highlight the FPS counter because
that to me is the most important thing
but other than that I hope you guys
wanted to enjoy this video PC did take a
lot of troubleshooting it a lot of time
