what is going on everyone my name is
Andy welcome back to another FPL video
in this one it's my team selection for
gameweek three so I'm going to show you
how the team is looking talk through the
transfer that I've already made and why
I made it early and then look at Captain
C future moves all that good stuff and
I'll quickly take you through how I did
in game week 2 as well so if you enjoyed
the video make sure to give it a like
hit that subscribe button otherwise
let's get into it all right let's start
with how I did in game week two and it
was definitely better than game week 1
where I only scored 57 points this time
it was 75 and that was enough to give me
a green arrow although that's not
difficult when you're starting at 4.4
million in the world now I'm up to the
lofty Heights of 3.6 million not a great
start but hopefully things can only get
better from here the weird thing is that
75 still didn't feel like enough like it
was a good game week I think my team did
well but lots of people did better
scores of 80 90 100 going around people
triple Captain hard and I didn't and I
think that's the problem sometimes with
FP doesn't matter what your team does
you always want more and it never feels
like enough and that's what it feels
like from gameweek 2 75 pretty decent
green AR really nice to get if I could
get one of them every single week from
now until the end of the season that
would be great and yet it still doesn't
feel like enough but I think with the
way the first two weeks have gone the
fact I've made two transfers
already I've got to be happy enough with
it in terms of where the points came
from I Didn't triple Captain Harem but
obviously I did Captain him because it
was zip switch at home the closer we got
to the deadline the closer I got to
activating the triple Captain probably
the closest I've ever been in a single
game week in the end it was just a
psychological emotional hedge which is
why I didn't do it because I felt like
if he scored a hattick and I didn't
triple Captain him I'd still be pretty
happy whereas if I triple Captain him
and he blanked that would really feel
bad after the terrible start in game
week one and you shouldn't make
decisions based on that in FPL like it's
not the best way to manage your team but
it is a part of how I'm always going to
play and I don't necessarily think it's
a bad thing so I had to take that
emotional hedge that if he got a hattick
that would still be great for my team
obviously now I wish I triple Captain
him because I'm unlikely to outscore
that in a single or a double game we
later on in the season but what's done
is done right defense did really well
Full House from porro Robinson and Trent
Alexander Arnold Dean Henderson in goal
unfortunately just a one-pointer not
looking like a great pick but it's only
been two game weeks let's see after the
Leicester at home game in game week four
how I'm feeling really happy with the
the Robinson points in particular
because I felt like I was forced into
making a transfer because of the mistake
with Quanza and then Robinson concedes
but then goes gets an assist and two
bonus points so to Come Away with seven
from my first transfer and not losing
any money on that and he's also gone up
in price as well to 4.6 I think he has
anyway let me just double check that I'm
pretty sure he has yeah he's 4.6 million
now that felt nice so defense good my
forward line was pretty decent right
obviously the captain from Harlem but
Pedro getting that goal at the end
against man united isaach blanked though
only a two-pointer and then my Midfield
three out of four of them blanked in
game week one three out of four blanks
in gameweek two sacka is Mr consistent
got an assist this week inku one poter
Off the Bench Fernandez two points
should have had an assist for garnacho
or xery one of them should have got on
the end of that without blocking it and
then e hit the bar had a good one-on-one
and okay you hit the bar basically as an
off Target shot but he's come very close
again to get him points so the Midfield
needs to do stuff for me soon because
that's what's really letting me down but
overall I think I've got to say it was a
good week it was a good week right Green
Arrow 75 points is nice but as always
with FPL you just want more so let's see
if game week three can uh provide that
so going into game week three I've
already used my free transfer and I'll
talk about why I made that move early
later on it has given me 1 million in
the bank to spend now so that gives me a
bit more flexibility over future moves
but it is more likely that I would use
that in future game weeks not game week
three there's just no real need to take
any hits and if we get to Friday and the
press conferences throw up a bunch of
injuries and doubts and stuff like that
then I'm more likely just a wild card so
I've got a million in the bank probably
not going to use it this week with the
defense there's only really one decision
to be made and that's whether or not to
play Pedro par now my gut tells me I
should definitely play him because he is
so attacking but I think there's almost
no chance he gets a clean sheet against
Newcastle Newcastle haven't started the
season well against Bournemouth and
Southampton the league they were pretty
poor I didn't watched the cup game last
night but reports coming out that they
weren't great again but I still think
they score at home to Spurs so Pedro par
would be played with attacking potential
in mind but I also have isach so there's
part of me that wants to go for the
upside play to bench the defender and
hope that eak does really well and then
just play Robinson from Fulham instead
so that's how I'm set up right now but
I'm also very conscious that Robinson
probably isn't going to get a clean
sheet either I don't really rate fullam
that high defensively and he's not as
attacking as porro so it's playing on my
mind a little bit do I go for the upside
play which is just to play the attacker
and bench my Defender and just go for
Robinson and on paper right I Swit A8 is
an easier fixture I just not sure
there's a clean sheet there either or do
I just play parro and hope that parro
and E at both score right now I think if
if the deadline was in five minutes and
I always try and think like this I think
I'd probably put porro in but maybe I
can Tor myself into keeping Robinson in
the side by the time we get to
Saturday's deadline everyone else is
super easy right Dean Henderson in goal
hasn't performed great goalkeeper just
not worth taking hits for most of the
time so he's one to deal with on Wild
Card essentially there's just no way I'm
going to have enough transfers to worry
about my goalkeeper so it's just not
even worth thinking about is he a bad
pick quite possibly is it worth worrying
about absolutely not I'll change my
goalkeeper on Wild Card coner against
Leicester away I mean it's another away
game and arguably kza doesn't have a
huge amount of attacking threat so I
could could even just play parro and
Robinson so I'm not expecting a clean
sheet from any of them but I think Villa
defense is just better than than Fulham
and I think they got a higher chance of
a clean sheet I I think that call is
quite tough I may end up just playing
Paran Robinson and bench and conza I
just think Viller have maybe got the
strongest chance of a clean sheet this
week and then Trent again man united
away not expecting a clean sheet but
he's so attacking I'm just not going to
bench him whatsoever even more so than
kind of par and I also think if any of
these Defenders are going to get a clean
sheet it may even be Liverpool against
man united I'm not really expecting
clean sheets at all as you can tell all
of my Defenders playing away and the
fifth one is Barco who's obviously not
even in the league anymore so it's not
looking like a huge amount of points for
my defense unless they can get attack
and returns so this week I'm playing all
five of my midfielders and there's
something about the 352 formation which
looks great I know 343 is the classic
but 352 just looks nicer and it's given
me some confidence despite the fact my
Midfield has performed badly so far but
let's talk about the actual players cuz
that's more important so e against
Chelsea away Fernandez against Liverpool
at home Saker against Brighton at home
Rogers against Leicester away who's
super popular this week lots of
transfers in already he's gone up from 5
to 5.1 million so I'm glad I started
with him in gameweek one and then I got
Smith row against IP switch away and he
was my transfer in for in kunu and I
made that move before in kunu dropped in
price and before Smith roow went up I
think that was on Sunday night after the
knee- jert stream I made the move around
midnight like I was debating a few
different options in the end I narrowed
it down to three players Smith row
Morgan Gibbs white and Leon Bailey I
wrote Leon Bailey off as an option for
my team in the end because I've already
got Rogers and conza and so that would
have blocked a potential move for oy
Watkins now it might be that I end up
wild carding gameweek four in which case
Bailey against Leicester was probably
the best pick but there's no guarantee I
would do that I might save it until
gameweek six and there's also no
guarantee that I will bring in olle
Watkins but Harland to Watkins to fund a
move for Salah at some point is in the
back of my mind as an option I just
didn't want to block that so Leon bayy
in the end I didn't go for and I also
think his minutes might be managed a
little bit around Champions League so I
didn't go for him Gibbs white I think is
better than Smith Ro this week he's on
penalties and Wolves at home is a decent
fixture and I looked at the games after
that for forest and it's Liverpool away
and Brighton
away now in theory and this is what I
was saying to myself I could just play
him against wolves and then bench him
for four and five because I've got xia
Pedro and Morgan Rogers who both have
home games and decent ones at that in
game weeks four and five but then I was
thinking to myself look what's happened
in the first couple of game which you've
had a few issues you've had to make
transfers straight away you cannot keep
doing that at some point you've got to
use the bench so in four and five if
I've got an attacking player that's I
can't play do I want to play Smith row
against West Ham or Newcastle at home or
Gibbs White against Liverpool or
Brighton away and in the end it just
pushed me more towards Smith Ro I think
the fact that he was also going up to
5.6 probably played a little bit of a
part the fact that he gets me a million
in the bank also helps as well although
there's no plan to use that and I may
not need that money before I get to wild
card but all those factors considered
that's what pushed me more towards Smith
Row game weeks four and five if I need
him I'm more happy to play him than I
would have been for Morgan Gibbs white
also it's worth saying right Morgan
Rogers is super popular and he could be
great but we haven't seen that output
yet and so I know the fix are there but
if it's a tossup between Rogers or Smith
row to playing four and five I may even
just bench Rogers anyway because I think
Smith row is probably the better option
let's see how he does against Leicester
first but obviously With Champions
League he might get his minutes managed
whereas that's not going to happen with
Smith Rose so I think that was an okay
decision I'm not particularly happy
about having made two transfers so early
in the first two game weeks but I think
I needed to right e hasn't fallen in
price yet this week but he almost
certainly will Bruno Fernandez gone from
8.5 to 8.4 I haven't even thought for
one second about selling them maybe
Fernandez for like 5 Seconds actually
but not a huge amount because I know
they're going to keep playing right
hopefully they'll get me some attack and
returns but in terms of minutes I'm not
concerned about them whereas with Quanza
ahead of gameweek two and in kungu ahead
of gameweek three there's just no
guarantees where their minutes are going
to come from and I knew they're both
going to drop in price and I thought to
myself don't sell in kungu and just
bench him for game week three and and
then decide what to do in game week four
with two three transfers the problem is
it's an international break so I don't
really want to move early and I know
that if Inu doesn't play this weekend he
will drop in price again there's
actually a chance that he'll drop in
price before this deadline so I was
looking on HUB again price changes are
free if you want to check him out I'll
put a link in the description below he's
already fallen to 6.4 he's minus 88% to
fall again so potentially tomorrow or or
straight away after Saturday something
like that he could drop in price again I
just didn't want that hassle it wasn't
worth losing money over I thinking kungu
may end up being a good option at some
point but it's not right now so I've
kind of forced myself into two early
moves and I'm hoping now with the squad
that I have that's not going to be the
same in game week four but I don't think
I'm too many issues away from popping
that wild card uh with Rogers just
quickly going back to him I think he's
good and I get the hyp because of his
price but I think people's expectations
for the amount of returns he's going to
get are a little bit too high let's see
how he actually does but definitely
playing him playing him against
Leicester sacker is an easy hold for me
spurs away man city away after this week
but I'll worry about that then if I've
got to play sackur against Spurs I'm
really not that concerned and Brian aom
is a genuine captaincy Contender so he's
going nowhere even if I had another free
transfer I wouldn't sell him for Palmer
this week long like for the next four or
five weeks given the fact that Arsenal
have got a play Man City you could make
a case to say that Palmer is now the
better option there is no way I would
use a free trans run him I would save
that for game week four uh but I don't
have that free trans so I guess it
doesn't matter Bruno Fernandez
frustrating and I think more so than E I
knew that if he didn't return in the
first week or two and then had Liverpool
that would be really frustrating and I
would want to move him because I would
feel like I've made the same mistake
that I made last year by going for him I
look at the first two games and think
I've been on lucky with the returns and
if he gets something against Liverpool
that will almost feel a bit deserved at
this point and then in game week four
it's Southampton away so unless I Wild
Card next week I'm probably holding him
for the next two game weeks there's no
point in holding him through Liverpool
then to get rid of him before
Southampton and bear in mind I've
already used my transfer this week so in
game week four I've only got one move
and it's very unlikely that I'm going to
want to to use it right I'm going to
want to use uh sorry if I sell Fernandez
I'm going to want to use that money
straight away and so that's going to be
two moves potentially and I'm not
rolling it out depending on what what we
see for Liverpool minutes in gameweek
three and obviously how the players
perform over the international break
maybe Fernandez to J is a move that I
would consider in gameweek four but
right now no plans to selling sell him
this week Liverpool at home not a great
fixture he's going to play he's going to
get 90 minutes he's on penalties you
never know he could get a return and
then eay again no interest in selling
him whatsoever if I was sat here and I
hadn't started with Inu I started with
Smith Ryan I had a free transfer I still
wouldn't sell E I still think he's a
good option the returns are coming
Chelsea away he'll get a few chances not
an easy fixture but hopefully he'll get
something there and then he runs
straight into Leicester at home in game
week four so I've got to think longer
term like you can't keep making
decisions based on two game weeks worth
of have has a player blanked or not you
know had that free kit counted no one
would be thinking about selling a in now
or at least fewer people would and
that's the small margins right a
refereeing decision is affecting
People's Choice about whether to sell a
player and I just don't think that's
good decision making going forward he's
either a good option or he's not and I
think he still is Chelsea way is not
ideal and it could be a third blank but
I just waiting for until game week four
against Leicester at home so
obviously I'm in a different position to
some people I've had to use two transs
on two players I wish I didn't uh need
to and so maybe if you if you started
with E and Fernandez you could be a bit
more aggressive because you still got
the wild card but I think they're still
good picks if I was wild carding this
week would I keep Fernandez probably not
because of the money I'd probably go
elsewhere but E I would I think I'd want
him for gameweek four onwards so I still
think he's a great pick that's the
Midfield fingers crossed it can actually
perform this week let's take a quick
look at the forwards and then up front
I've got erling harand and Alexander
reac with Jia Pedro on the bench against
Arsenal away and Xiao Pedro was another
consideration when thinking about
selling in kungu because I could have
just benched in kungu and played Jiao
Pedro instead but it's such a difficult
game on paper I don't see Brighton
getting a huge amount of chances I
wanted to get someone in with a better
fixture and part of me thinks I've spent
a transfer to bench a penalty taker that
might not end well but I think it was
the right call overall and if Xiao Pedro
does score okay it's annoying not to get
those points but he's probably going to
go up in price again and that can only
benefit me long term with Harland he is
my captain and I'm pretty sure that's
going to stick sack is the only other
consideration because Brighton at home's
not a terrible fixture but with Harland
like one of the reasons he's in your
team is for captaincy right and I think
outside of playing Liverpool or Arsenal
any other game home or away is always
going to be a good option for Harland
like if Saka had I don't know Fulham ler
Southampton it switch a home something
like that I'd probably consider it a lot
more but not this week and when I look
at my team on fantasy football had the
points predictions for sacker is 6.8
against Brighton 7.3 against West Ham so
it's close enough but it's just more
confirmation bias for me to just go for
Harland because that's what I want to do
anyway and then isach has been I think
really poor considering how much we
expected from him in preseason but it's
only been two games Wilson's not back
yet his minutes are still looking good
you know he's on penalties these things
can turn around really quickly and Spurs
at home is not a bad fixture there's
just no need to panic if I wild carded
this week I might take him out but he
alone is not enough reason to wild card
and look game weeks 4 six I may end up
using it but if I wild carded this week
I reckon I would keep kza probably
Robinson Rogers maybe Smith row sacka
e uh Xiao Pedro on the bench as well
like Harland okay I might switch to
Salah and get Palmer as well and have
like a really premium Midfield but Haren
himself is not enough reason to Wild
Card I just don't think there's enough
things adding up for me to hit the
button so I'm just going to roll with it
as it is with that transfering kungu to
Smith row I checked my suggested
transfers on HUB which you can do with
the links in the description below 50%
off at the moment if you want like a
second opinion and stuff like that and
to use all their other tools as well and
it and by the way it still thinks I've
gotten kungu and it wants me to bank the
free
transfer again I think if this was later
in the season that's what I would have
done I would have just benched in kungu
and played Jiao Pedro but I feel like
with the wild card in hand it's better
to have made that move and not suffered
the price drop alternative options to
sell Pedro paru which I don't want to do
this week but maybe it is something I
could do in the future because I've got
1 million in the bank now beforehand I
was thinking I can get up to the 6
million forward so there's no point but
Pedro paru to Robertson to double up on
Liverpool defense in game we four and
five is something that I will consider
now I might not want to do that I might
want to leave myself the option to go
for Salah in gameweek five with two fre
transfers but double up on Liverpool
defense looks pretty good they're both
attacking Trent and Robertson and
they've done well for clean sheet so far
and in four and five it is Forest and
Bournemouth at home and then maybe a
wild card in gameweek six so I think
ultimately the wild card's coming
soonish and I'm happy to make transfers
it would be really nice to roll two or
three transfers through a wild card just
don't mean that's going to happen I
don't think it's a problem to use them
to get more points in the short term
let's see how this team does I'm not
expecting massive points in game week
three I think things will look better
from four onwards in kungu to Smith roow
done harand Captain locked in if you've
