about cutting weight for a fight because
you need to sweat a lot for that all
right so I got a question what's the
proper way to cut weight before a fight
or before a photo shoot or something
like that so here's what I want you to
do 5 days before your fight before the
photo shoot I want you to drink two
gallons of water no it's not easy it's a
lot more challenging than you think two
gallons try to fill up an actual jug of
water and make sure you kill two gallons
of that 5 days before same thing 4 days
before drink two gallons of water all
right 3 days before you're just going to
do one gallon of water then you're going
to do 2 L of water 2 days before one day
before you're going to do one liter of
water day of you know the the weigh-ins
or the photo shoot you're just going to
try to keep your mouth wet really you
don't want to put any of that weight on
another tip with diet too is you don't
want to uh eat too much sodium all right
that's going to retain the water inside
of you okay so you still want to have
some sodium in you you need that in
order for for your for the water to be
retained a little bit but not too much
all right don't pour any salt on
anything don't e any french fries or
anything like that so try to keep the
salt try to keep your sodium intake low
all right you need to sweat a lot all
right you need to do it the right way
don't take diuretics or anything like
that but put on heavy clothing all right
layer up and work out exercise bike is
great the air Dy is great all right it's
it's good on the joints but it gets you
moving and you got to be moving
consistently for 20 minutes 30 minutes

losing water weight that's good all
right just remember that too that you
need to hydrate leading up to the fight

need to slowly take that water out so
you're sweating a lot you're putting
less water in that's cutting water

died doing this all right so you don't
want to cut any more than 10% of your
body weight when cutting water weight

right so running air DME uh you can do
it on treadmill you can do it outside
you want to layer up so that you're
sweating a lot you can sit in a sauna as
well that's going to help you sweat make
sure you drink a lot of water leading up
to it and then slowly decrease the water
avoid the salts you need to make sure
that you're dieting correctly and then
afterwards make sure you rehydrate all
right one of the best things that you
can drink is Pedialyte it's a it's baby
a baby drink that's great for when they
have diarrhea when they're dehydrated
they drink that it's got a lot of
electrolytes in it some sodium in it so
it's going to help you retain water it's
going to help you rehydrate all right
you can also do water down energy drinks
um you can do water but like I said you
need some sort of sodium need some
sugars in there to help retain the water
