thought let's make a quick video to

explain about this topic so the topic

that I'm going to cover today is about

the changes in pte from July

2024 so it is the 2nd of July and

everybody is worried that PT is

changing the the questions that I had

was is PT going to add the trial

questions

permanently or are they going to be

scored from July the trial questions

like group discussion or respond to a

situation then another question was are

they making

changes with regards to the templates

that means do you think templates will

not work at all

so on and so forth so I thought let's

make a quick video to cater these issues

and let's show you with

proof with

referring to the official PT website and

what they have to say

firstly yes there are some changes

happening but not in the pte exam it's

in the Pearson's official scod mock test

there are two different things the

Pearson's pte exam is different a mock

exam a mock test scored mock test is

totally

different the changes they announced a

few weeks ago was were for the mock

tests not for the

exam so if they are announcing the

changes in mock test in

advance then

for sure if they are

changing the academic exam they will let

you

know well in advance so they will not be

making random changes at all they will

give you ample lot of time to be

prepared to get

ready since they never did that

a they are not going to add trial

questions permanent

B the trial questions are still not

scored in my recent exam I've skipped

them and I still got 90 so there is no

Mark in that particular question you can

skip it without any

worry

three I did try the templates in my last

exam and they are still working so they

have not made any major changes

whatsoever

in July at the moment and they will not

make any major changes without informing

you

beforehand it is an academic exam it's a

serious exam so they cannot randomly do

anything without letting you know in

advance because it is an expensive exam

it's not a $10 exam it is

a400 plus dollar exam so they will have

to let you know way in advance so these

changes are not happening they are not

adding the trial questions permanently

they are not scoring the trial questions

they are not uh totally disregarding

your

templates and till now they didn't

announce any specific change in the real

exam of Pearson pte

okay so this is about the real

exam let's come to the changes that are

going to happen yes there is some thing

which is leading to all this these

speculations all these questions and

that something is the announcement they

made for their official scored mock

tests not their real EX exam what did

they announce let's go and have a

look

so now first change if you go to their

website you can find it on Google just

say search Pearson score mock test

changes and they will take you to this

website it's pearson.com it's help

center now let's show

you the first change this is the first

change now when you purchase your scored

practice

tests previously you can you could take

it immediately like I have taken a lot

of scored mock tests and I always

purchased and took the test right there

but

now they will give the codes

within 48

hours so you can't take the test

immediately you have to allow at least

48

hours from purchasing before taking the

mock test that is change number

one so instead of taking the test

immediately now you have to wait for 48

hours to take a mock test not even the

real

exam if they still don't give you the

code if it's been more than 48

hours then you need to contact the

customer support

team okay so they will give you the code

in 48 hours if they don't do it contact

the customer support team that's the

second

thing then what else is the change

the scored mock test will be moving to a

new platform in

2024 now they said

2024 but they are

saying 31st October 2024 so they're

giving

you

this

information well in advance and it's

only about the scor practice test Please

keep this in mind it's not for the real

exam it's just for their mock test all

right now it's moving to a new platform

means I don't know if you're from the IT

industry you know there are different

platforms PHP and all those different it

related coding related

platforms maybe to make it faster or

more

accurate or maybe they're having issues

with their data we don't know what is

the reason and it's not new it is

nothing

new anyone who has worked in the IT

industry very frequently they upgrade

their platforms and they move to a new

and more reliable and faster

platform when needed so they are also

doing that so that's nothing to worry

about okay so they are just moving their

practice tests to a new

platform now moving

on let's see the next thing what they

are saying if you purchased a practice

test before 2024 and haven't yet taken

it please complete it at the earliest

opportunity maybe because they're moving

to a new platform it can affect your

existing test so that's why they're

asking you to take it because a lot of

times people take in bulk like three

mock tests together because it's

cheaper and they don't use it so that's

why they're saying if you purchase a

test in 2024 and you have completed it

please save your score by 31st of

October again it is related to the same

topic that because they are moving it to

a new platform they don't know what data

will be transferred securely and what

will not be transferred securely so just

for your

uh just to help you they are letting you

know about these things which is not

even related to the real exam in

advance so imagine if they are actually

changing something in the real exam will

they not let you know in advance of

course they will if they're letting you

know all these details about a scored

practice test they will let you know in

in detail about the changes in the

actual PT exams for example when they

reduced the number of questions in

2019 they did let you know way in

advance how they reduce the timing for

example when they were introducing pte

core they did let you know a lot of

weeks before they actually started pte

core so all these things they will let

you

know coming to the the next thing if you

purchase a practice test in 2024 you

will still be able to complete your test

but please be reminded that practice

tests have to be used within one year

from the purchase that's just their

policy and they will let they are

letting you know about it again please

note this change only relates

this this is something you have to

remember this change only relates to

scored practice test you used for

Preparation not for the real actual

exam okay so these are the changes they

announced which are only affecting the

scored practice

tests not the actual pte

exam

okay uh

so preparation material PT

score so on and so forth this doesn't

concern you so this is the only change

which has been announced by pte but in

regards to the upgrades in the software

like when you use a phone you upgrade it

whenever there's an upgrade yes the

software keep getting better and better

they keep updating the software but that

will not have any major major

change their changes the updates in the

software can only make it more

uh what do you say more

accurate uh understanding the voices and

Pitch more

better and you know picking up the words

more clearer and maybe picking up more

content these are small changes that

happens with the updates like previously

people used to just say random things

and get score and describe image but now

they have to talk about the picture as

the software

updated previously in essay they just

used to write topic name one to two

times and still get full marks but now

they need to write a little more content

that's a software

update previously uh you used to just

you know put 10 to 15 words in retail

lecture and still get a good score but

you need now around 30 plus words

software updates previously a lot of

people in speaking had issues when their

voice was too thick or too thin but that

issue has resolved a lot now because how

they are updating and upgrading the

software to accommodate people of

different uh pitch uh different

variations different different

backgrounds different uh language

backgrounds and stuff so these are few

minor changes I don't say changes

updates they keep doing but if that

happens we are always there to help you

because that is the reason why we do

take pte exams every other day to see if

there's anything that they have changed

updated or upgraded and we let you know

immediately so trust me at the moment

nothing of this sort is happening in the

official PT exam yes a few changes were

announced but they were only related to

the scored practice tests I hope this
