Transcripts
hi everyone it's fui today I'll be going
over the chorus part of jonguk standing
next to you
standing as of now currently the only
sources that I was able to learn from
was the music video and the Tik Tok that
he posted was txt so some moves might be
different because I have not yet seen
the full dance also this is an
explanation only tutorial so make sure
to check out that slow music and I would
recommend having this video and that
video on two different tabs or windows
so that after each section you can go
over the moves with the music
and this tutorial is mirrored so this is
the right side and this is the left side
so if I move my right hand you should
also move your right hand as well we got
it let's get
it the first two moves is going to go on
seven and eight and so on seven and
you're going to go da so go open cross
out and when you open out make sure your
arms are straight don't bend your wrist
up like this or bend it down make sure
it's relatively straight and your right
foot should be in front and then we
go you're going to keep your hands
closed like this and it's going to twist
towards you and then towards your head
and when you get towards the head you're
going to switch your hands from this to
this just your pointer finger and your
middle finger and then you're going to
go like hey y again so that is on seven
and eight and it's pretty fast and you
got to make sure your weight is on your
left foot cuz the next move you're going
to drag that right foot out so that is
going to go on the same time as you drag
your hand down so that hand is going to
stay um with your pointer finger in the
middle finger and you're just going to
point down so that is seven and eight
and one and when you do that your chest
is going to fold downwards a little bit
so it'll go one and then you're going to
drag that right foot all the way behind
you and you're going to step with that
right foot and then step out with that
left foot so that is one two and at the
same time your shoulder is going to go
right right left right up left up so
you're going to drag and then when you
step you're going to bring your right
shoulder up and then step with your left
bring your left shoulder up so that is
standing next to and then on you you're
going to point forward at the same time
you're going to bend that right knee
towards the left so you're going to go
you so again that is
standing next to you so when that left
shoulder is up your left knee should be
bent and you're just going to switch now
the left is straight now the right is
bent like this you're just going to keep
your hands like this and you're just
going to point so keep it that way the
whole time and then point towards the
front this whole two8 counts kind of
follow the same Rhythm so it goes
like so you see the big Mose small fast
moo big mve small fast mve Big M Small
fast mov so keep that in mind when
you're dancing this part because you
really want to emphasize like the big
moves and the small moves you want to
make it really sharp and fast so again
from the beginning it goes seven and
eight and one two and three so your
hands are going to go from left shoulder
right shoulder and then down to your
hips so you're going to make a triangle
one two three at the same time you're
just going to drag your right foot in so
your right knee was bent right on the
first flick you're going to bend your
left knee and straighten that right knee
and then you're going to slowly drag
that right foot in until you reach your
hips but this part is going to be really
fast it's going to go I think it's the
same beats as like
so so again from the standing next to
you so we go standing next to
you after this you're going to
open up like this with your right foot
bent like this now you're going to take
your left arm arm and you're going to
swo in front
swo so it goes
da swo and this is the big move so make
sure it's not small near your body but
big and then we're going to jump on that
right we're going to go left and then
your right is going to follow that left
foot so when you jump the image you want
in your head is bringing your heels to
your butt so you're going to bring your
left heel up and then your right heel up
like that when you jump your arms are
going to come to your chest and down
like this so at the same time it goes
slice jump and then do the same exact
thing you're going to open up and you're
going to slice again this time your left
leg is going to follow your right I mean
your left leg is going to follow your
left arm like this after you have land
you're going to
slice we're going to jump open again
slightly facing towards the right and
then we're going to hop on our left leg
and open up so slice drag your left foot
in Jump hop jump so let's review from
the beginning super slowly so we go
seven and
eight
and
one two and
three four e and
five six and
seven
eight and one and when you land make
sure your right hand is on your hips
like this or your crotch area so again a
little bit faster we go seven and eight
and one two and three four e and five
six and
seven eight and one and when you land
make sure you kind of do like a mini
body roll starting from like your upper
thighs to your stomach so you
go and you're going to repeat that body
roll three times so you're going to go
one two and three four and five six and
it's not fully like body wave body wave
like the the first part is more heavy so
you
go you do a mini jump to help start that
body wave so you should kind of lift
your heel up a little bit when you go
down so lift your heel down so your arms
are going to go one two and three four e
and five six let's break that down so
we're going to go one and then you're
just going to go out in on Two And and
then hit down and then four e and so
your left hand is just going to grab
your right wrist and then your right
hand should be in fist like this and
bring that right fist towards you and
it's going to circle around towards the
front so just kind of hover over your
right wrist with your left hand until
your right hand comes over and then it's
just going to turn around like this and
you're just going to grab that wrist
again so like this so again it goes one
two and three four e and and then it
goes five six and you're just going to
release that grasp and your right hand
is just going to go down your left hand
going to come up and just open up your
fists and then it's going to come around
your left is going to land on your hips
your right is going to land on your head
like this and you're going to hit at the
very end so it goes one 2 N 3 4 e n
five six and then just continuing on
this eight count we're just going to
step back with our left seven8 so again
that eight count so we go one two and
three four and five six seven eight one
more time we go one two and three 4 five
six seven eight when you hit those body
weights you're going to hit a strong
beat so let's connect that from the very
beginning so we go seven and eight and
one two and three four e and five six
six and
seven 8 and one 2 and 3 four e and five
6
78 a little faster you go five six seven
and eight and one two and three four and
five six and seven eight and one two and
three 4 Yen five six seven eight okay
let's move on feel free to go back and
replay if you still need a little more
practice and as a reminder to check out
that slow music tutorial to practice
with music as well so we ended here
looking towards the left side so we're
going to go one two three so we're going
to hop three times and the left leg is
going to do most of the work so you're
going to pick up that left leg like this
and you're just going to push back with
that left leg forcing the right foot to
go forward so we're GNA go pick up land
pick up jump pick up jump actually I
feel like now the right leg is doing
more work so we go jump jump jump and
every time we jump there is a move with
the upper body so the first one is the
chest and the hands a little bit so
we're gonna go hit so you're gonna pump
your chest in so the first one in at the
same time you're just going to push your
hands to the back like so you're going
to do all at the same time going to go
hit and for the second one you're just
going to bring your hands to your
shoulders and you're going to twist
forward so we go chest shoulders and
then the third one is going to be your
head so you're just going to flick your
head towards the front so you're going
to do that at the same time as you do
your legs so you
go together that is chest shoulders
face again that is one two three and we
go for and you're going to use your
chest to help you bring your upper body
down so you're going to chest pump up
and then bring your body down so hit hit
and make sure your arms come out when
you go down and it's a similar shape to
the beginning part and then we go five
six so you're going to chest chest pump
upwards as you bring your foot out out
started from that left leg so you're
going to kick that left foot outwards at
the same time your opposite knee is just
going to come out like this so left
right and remember to hit that chest up
so you go hit hit so four and five and
six and then on and you're just going to
step back with that left with that right
foot and then step with that left out to
reset so again we go 4 and 5 and 6 e and
and then just a flow into the next move
you're just going to step out with that
right foot so let's connect that from
here so we go five six s eight and one
2
3 four and five and six e and seven in
this part there's a steady drum beat
that you want to hit it goes like
d so it goes
like da da so just keep that in mind
we're going to go a little faster so we
go five six seven eight and one 2 three
four five six and a seven when you step
out with that right foot you're going to
go deep so your left hand is just going
to flop on to your right wrist and your
left wrist is going flop backwards so
you're going to go whoop so that's deep
and then you're going to switch you're
going to step out with that left foot
and you're just going to switch your
hands now your right is on the top like
this so you go
seven eight and then you go nine so
you're going to drag that right leg in
and at the same time your hands are
going to unravel and then your right
hand is going to be on your right
shoulder and then your left hand is
going to be out like this and you're
going to goop you kind of drag your
chest towards the bottom so drag it down
so with the lyrics it goes deep like d
and a so connecting it from four and so
we go four and five six and a seven 8
one on end we're going to reset we're
going to bring our body towards the
center and our hands going to come up
towards our chest like this after one we
go and and then we're going to burst so
you're going to switch your weight from
your right leg to your left leg at the
same time you're just going to drag that
out it's like really similar to the
beginning move so you're going to go
from the chest you're going to burst and
when you burst make sure your chest is
kind of fa downwards like this so you
burst and then you're going to bring
that right leg in and then you're going
to switch now your left is going to dry
out and at the same time your arms going
to go burst and then it's just going to
come up like this so twist towards you
once and then to your head so that's
going to be like deep like d and
a and two three and then on four that
left leg is going to come across behind
your right foot and then you're just
going to tap it with your left with your
right hand and then you're going to
release your left leg is going to come
out and then your arms going to come out
like this so we go and and then we're
just going to slowly bring that in not
really slowly because you only have like
half a count but you go four and so
let's review from four and five six and
a 7 8 1 and 2
3 4 and and the next part is where he
goes take take take take take take off
so you're going to hit every single take
so as a full picture it would look like
take take take take take take off and
you're going to take off
so this part might look intimidating at
first the moves itself isn't really
difficult it's just really fast so don't
be discouraged if you don't get it right
away so the first move is going to go
take so pretend you're running so bring
that left foot up and then you're going
to go take so you're going to switch now
bring that left foot down and then bring
that right foot up and make sure it's
like coming towards the side like this
and make sure your arms are out like
this like you're running sideway
like a so we go take take now you're
going to place that right foot down
across your left and you're going to
point at it so you're going to go take
take take again take take take now bring
that right foot across and then out and
make sure your hands open up like this
so we go take take take take again take
take take take now hop on that right
foot and your left hand is going to come
across your right shoulder then take
that left leg that's in the air and then
place it down as your left hand comes
out so we go
take take
take
take take take that's it but a little
faster now so we go take take take take
take take so it counts it goes
one and two three four
and five and six and seven and eight and
so again go five 6 7 8 1 and 2 3 4 and
five and six and seven and eight and one
but let's connect that from here first
and then from the beginning so we go
five 6 7 8 and one 2 3 4 five six and a
seven 8 one and two three four and five
and six and seven and eight and
one so let's connect that from the
beginning so we go five six seven and
eight and one two and three four e and
five six and seven eight and one 2 and
three four and five six 7 8 one 2 three
four five six and a seven
eight one and two three four and five
and six and seven and eight and
one so after we take off we're going to
land on one and you're going to sort of
do freestyle I don't think there's like
a right or wrong move to this it's kind
of like a flowy flowy flowy and you go
sharp sharp and chok does something
different from the music video and the
Tik Tok so I think what whatever you
feel feel the music and just flow with
it so that's four counts of freestyle
you can like swing your arms but make
sure they're controlled don't like flop
them everywhere but keep them controlled
and for four counts in the Tik Tok JK
kind of like brings his left arm up and
then the right arm up and then you can
do anything for that four counts but you
want to come back Center for five six so
as Center JK points forward one two so
stop Midway and then stop higher so five
six so one 2 3 4 five six and you kind
of want to bring your right leg forward
like this in the music this is kind of
like the flute part and then you hit two
strong be with this so five six and it
goes standing next to you this is not
really a move per se I don't think but
in the Tik Tok he kind of like brought
his hand towards him like this so it
goes hit hit standing next on you you're
going to jump open and you're going to
bring your right hand to your hips or
crotch area and then Here Comes The Hip
rolls so your hands are here and then
you're going to Hip Roll three times so
one two three you really don't want to
like isolate your hips and just move
your hips you want to use your right
knee and you kind of like want to make
that circle with your right knee and
your hips should should just follow that
knee movement naturally so don't try to
think about it like isolating your hips
only your knee should help with that um
hip movement so it goes one two three
it's a little uncomfy for me but in the
moment when you're dancing I think it's
fine but and then there's like three
beats you want to hit um with your head
it goes Doom look look do look so you're
going to start with looking towards the
right and then to the left and then
forward so the Rhythm you want to keep
is roll look roll look roll look after
we roll look we're going to go standing
next to you so we're going to jump on
our right foot two times while pointing
forward so we're going to go standing
and then you're just going to switch
your weight is going to be on your left
leg now and you're going to use that
right leg as a momentum to jump so when
you switch make sure you kick your right
foot up so like this so standing next
and when you switch your legs your arms
are going to go like this so you're
going to go
standing next to and when you land that
second jump on that left leg you're
going to scoop with that left hand and
go towards the right like this so you're
going to go standing next to
you so we take off go one two 2 three
four five six standing next to you two
three 4 five six standing next to you
yes we're almost done so after you go
standing next to you you're going to
throw down as you step with your left so
you're going to throw down step with
your left and then we're going to open
up and then face towards the back so
we're going to go throw open and then
you're going to step forward or
backwards with that right foot so you're
going to go left then right and then
you're going to step forward with that
left leg but you're also going to look
up so you're going to go
throw open look up and then you're going
to turn towards this side you're going
to go step with that right foot and then
you're going to step with that left foot
and when you do you're going to snap so
after standing next to you
throw open look up step snap if you have
more space I would move more so you can
actually step twice and then get back to
Center but let's do this one more time
so we go standing next to you throw open
up step snap and then step forward with
that right foot and then you're going to
use that left foot to kick up and then
you're going to drag that right foot so
again after you step step with that
right foot kick up with that left and
then drag that right foot for four
counts one two three four this part
wasn't shown in the music video or the
Tik talk so for now I will just do this
for four counts so one two three four so
you slowly drag your right foot in and
then we're going to prep for another
turn so we're going to step out with
that right foot and that right hand is
going to come out so that we can turn
and come back Center so that is five six
and then go seven step out with that
right foot to the side and you're going
to point down with both hands and then
you're just going to heel toe as many
times as you can heel toe heel toe heel
toe the music is going to go so try to
hit
that and then on eight you're just going
to drag that left foot towards your
right foot and then your hand hands are
going to come around like this and then
you're going to face this side
again so from here we go one 2 three 4
five 6 7 eight and one so let's slowly
go over that part from the takeoff so we
go take off one 2 three four five six
seven8 one 2 3 4 5 6 seven eight and one
2 3 4 five six seven eight and one two
three four five 6 7 8 and one it's a
little faster we go take off one 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 one 2 three four five six seven
eight and one 2 3 four five six s eight
and one 2 three 4 5 6 7 8 and
one really good job if you made it all
the way here The Stance is quite
difficult so again please don't be
discouraged if you don't get it right
away but let's put everything together
super slowly and then speed it up so
from the beginning from s and we go five
6 7 and eight and one 2 and three four e
and five six and
seven eight and one two and three 4 e
and five 6 7
8 1 2 3 four and five six and a seven 8
one and two three four and five and six
and seven and eight and one 2 three four
five 6 seven eight one 2 3 4 five 6
seven and eight and one 2 3 four five
six seven eight and one 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
and one and this is up to full speed
ready five six seven and eight and one 2
and three four and five six seven eight
and one 2 and 3 4 and five 6 7 8 1 2 3 4
and five five six and a seven eight 1
and 2 3 4 a take take take take take
take off one 2 3 4 five six 7even eight
1 2 three 4 five six seven eight and one
2 3 4 five six 78 1 2 3 4 five six 7 8
