hey guys how you doing here bringing
another video on information technology
I hope you're having a good day happy
Saturday and today I want to go over 16
resources that can help you right now if
you're trying to get some sort of
experience or some sort of understanding
of cyber security obviously if you're
new to my channel you know what to do
rate comment subscribe give me a thumbs
up greatly appreciate it so today I want
to give you 16 different resources I
have them right here I'll open in my
browser
um do I recommend going to all of them
no don't don't do that pick one or pick
two and then focus on that don't go over
the place I definitely do not recommend
that
um my favorite and I'm gonna tell you
right now what my favorite platform is
um I'm gonna go over here and let me
share my screen I'll show you which
one's my favorite one but there's like
so many out there that when you go into
this you're like oh my goodness why is
there so many you know so just figure
one out figure out which one you like
and then go for it and it's good it's
good for you because after that
you actually know what you want to do
you actually know you know like what you
want to do as a as far as cyber security
is concerned right because cyber
security is so big so it gets crazy let
me share my screen
um
all right so screen Uno so yeah so I I
got this one right here and I'm gonna
put all them Below in the description of
the video uh this is this is cyber cyber
SEC labs this is one of them and it has
active directory and real you could do
like real little attacks
um like pen testing and stuff like that
if you're into that this is one of them
I have this one so this is this is the
one that I use a lot I use
um try hack me and if you you can see I
have it it has everything like from red
team
um to soft level if you want to be a
sock analyst
um pen testing web fundamentals and I
I'm gonna go over some of these by the
way on my on my channel so don't worry
about that
um this is why I created this is why I
have an account and everything
oh that's what it is uh next one
uh is
uh site
cybery.it I can't even pronounce it but
yeah it's this one
um this is one of them that I that I
like as well
um one another place to learn some cyber
security stuff is another one
um
over the wire.org so if you're not sure
if you guys are familiar with over the
wire.org this is another one I know it
looks a little weird but actually you
could practice commands here you could
do SSH and a bunch of stuff here so
this is another one I know it's a little
weird but yeah this is this is this is
another one another resource my
my friend TCM Zach Hill Heath Adams
obviously they have their own platform
as well and they have an academic
training
and they have certifications
um then we go let me actually get out of
this and they actually go to our courses
you could see what they have
um they have practical hacking course
Windows course Linux uh python
and a few other ones so this is another
another area of expertise it's like more
red team if that makes sense you can
look at their platform and then grc's
down here from Simply cyber and
obviously
I'm friends with
I'm I'm friends with uh Gerald Alger so
his GRC courses down here uh definitely
recommend you take a look at that if
you're into GRC I definitely recommend
you look at you look at uh simply
cyber's uh information go to the next
one
uh root me this is another one
uh they have some challenges in there
and this is here it says here you get
rewarded you can bet that you work and
publish it and get rewarded
um this is one that that uh I went over
with um infosecpac uh hack the box so
this is more a little more like so you
don't have to try hack me like
hack the box is more like um
he actually they have like an entry
level academic for someone brand new but
if you you're gonna get lost in this one
if you don't know what you're doing
you're gonna get lost I'm just just
saying this one's a little more
complicated a little more tricky
this one this one like they just give
you a
they just give you a box and you got to
figure out how to how to how to do
Capture the Flag basically that's
basically what it is you have to figure
it out this one is more like I'm gonna
hold your hand and
I'm gonna tell you how to go into this
or that or I'm going to introduce you to
this to this topic or something like
that
with between John one and hack the box
like I like try hack me better because
I'm someone that's brand new to cyber
security right and I want to get exposed
to little bits of pieces I want to get I
want to get exposed to a whole box and I
don't know what what I'm doing I don't
know how to do Capture the Flag I have
no annoying about the tools so you get
lost right this one you won't really get
lost that's why I like it uh rangeforce
is another one
um
definitely recommend rangeforce
um this is certify secure.com another
one right here they have live training
you go here
these are all the Life Training and
Hands-On training
um
and then this one as well
hack expert.com
they have Labs as well
scroll the way down right here
there's another one
um
Echo CTF
they have stuff here obviously join your
Discord I'm clicking on it doesn't do
anything I'm pretty sure you got to log
in and create an account and you're in
the Discord that's fine
um the next one is vornhub.com
so I'm not sure if you guys are familiar
with this one
but this gives you like an idea how to
build VMS how to set up VMS from scratch
they have free virtual uh vpns
um programming as well they have
training material as well books as well
that you could buy online another good
website I recommend
next one is volume machines so this one
is
um captured the flag again so you use a
CTF capture the fly
right over here
you have to log in and register
uh you have injection attack and a bunch
of other stuff you could do which is
kind of cool
uh go to the next one it's called try to
hack me like wait wait a minute did they
just steal this did you still hack the
Box's name or they just try to steal try
Hackney's name that was just two
different companies try to hack me or
are you a hacker challenge yourself yeah
so this is another one it's like it's
like a video game basically for cyber
security
um
next one is port
Parts swinger
um learning caption right here
she wouldn't go go into learning about
authentication Access Control yada yada
you could go into that so that's another
one and then the last one
uh it's pen tester lab and they have
boot camps and you could pay here this
GoPro if you want to pay as a student
you only pay 35 for three months it's
pretty cool it's not that bad
um and then you have people that
actually
they talked about they have videos on
YouTube people talk about how this
program is if they like it they don't
like it
um yeah that's it that's pretty much it
for me I'm gonna stop sharing that's
what you do for me um these are some of
them like these are these are some
resources to
help you get started in your in your
path in cyber security because I want to
get like this is like
um just stuff you could go into and sign
up and create an account obviously if
you if you want more like a
um
uh path like a specific path I'm gonna
make another video on that so don't
worry about that but anyway with that
being said I hope you have a good day
take care peace bye
