go get something to eat he's like no I
don't want to get Taco Bell he's sing up

perfect for you
t
so hi buddy we're in Florida what you
he's just a little tiny poy
bear what the where's it coming
from it's just ice like
this is like fuel injection right you
have to have a digital screen you have
to read the direct we could normally
just
open but it won't allow me to get in it
like it's an ice master or whatever that
is I would just reach in and grab my ice
but no we're doing this in today's age
we have to over complicate everything to
make it
better
good morning good
morning we've been sleeping for about an
hour and a half now mommy's getting
stuff done and now I've woken him up is
he awake it would appear So today we're
doing something that we've never done
before at least not on dry land Taylor
Ray hit me up on Instagram and we've
been wanting to get together for a long
time and do something he watches the
channel and uh he follows all the no
prep stuff he's wanting to get into it
and uh I can't say I watch a lot of
drifting it's something that is popular
and it's interesting so we're going to
try it today see how we do hey there's a
lizard right
there hopefully none of them are like
poison oh he's quick oh my zoom he's a
Zoomer yeah we're going to try drif in
today hopefully it goes well hopefully
we don't crash any of his he said
the E36 you can crash it it's been
crashed before he doesn't care all
right what's the plan there Stan well
the plan is we're going to take all
three of these cars over there to
Orlando and uh do some drifting this
will be a good first test before 6 week
to see if there's any issues that we
need to address before we start and uh
we honestly need the seating anyways
we've got plenty of people um we can't
all fit in those two
[Music]
cars
so current situation we got 30 seconds
out of the driveway fuel pumps out on
the alch now so we're already down the
[Music]
two
Steve's going to get to test his own
brake drop first you see him pulling the
parachute we know it's not very
good how's it
running it's getting hot I'm getting hot
everything's hot Billy said it still has
antifreeze in it so that might be the
reason he say he's going to flush it out
tonight and put water in it is this a
15g cell 21 that's a 21 gon cell
damn it can pretty much make any drive
down here without ping it up
damn what happened Steve I no idea sorry
it's die
you angry Steve come on please make it
e we're not making it up that hill hold
on not
good
fuel pump on and off to keep filling the
bowls that way it's got fuel but when
you leave it on the BS overflow because
the needle and seats are sticking
there's trash in the
carburetor
w
I was
[Music]
terrible
wo
[Music]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
oh
heat it's either heat or like whatever
just the motion cuz it's like totally
fine until literally I stop drifting
then it makes then it like Cuts Po and
off
yeah it's like it does a whole lot fine
and then I don't know I later I really
want to thank you guys for laughing this
car though cuz it's way more fun it
looked great to me I don't know what
you're complaining about the tires are
cooked too I almost SP out twice which I
I never do this track has no grip it's
like what I would imagine like wherever
they do dig or die or die that's the
first thing I thought I was like it's
cor I've never driven anywhere that has
this little G yeah I don't know why it's
so bad but it's terrible like with this
alignment on any other track be so
aggressive and here it's like nothing
like it doesn't go anywhere like I've
got way more wheel speed than I need and
it's still just like run that's just
fine so for the people that are coming
from our channel that don't watch
drifting will you kind of walk us
through the whole setup of this car so
it's a C6 Corvette so in drifting we're
not allowed to change like your subframe
mounting points have to be the same like
that kind of stuff so it's basically cut
like right behind the
subframe on the back
here so then just like little tube
structure there this thing's a Pro Mod
right um but yeah that's a big thing you
can't you can't change the suspension
pickup points got and then like the rear
we have like a grip kit which is just
aftermarket arms so it allows for like
toe adjustment like uh Dynamic toe
adjustment so it'll toe game when it
squats for more grip rear radiator
pretty common fuel cell um we run
electric punks like nobody in drifting
really runs a mechanical pump so that's
going to be weird for me when I try to
build a drag car and I need to do a
mechanical pump pretty standard Holly
pedal box so Corvettes normally come
with the transmission in the back like a
full transaxle so I put a dog box
fourspeed in the front like a just
typical H pattern race transmission and
then a quick change diff in the back um
so that like you take the rear cover off
and swap these two gears and they change
they either add or reduce your final
drive so you I can change the rear gear
to whatever I want we have like eight
gear sets so it's really neat cuz wheel
speed is everything and drifting uh it
came I bought a car it's like an
unfinished project and it came with this
engine I wouldn't have done this crazy
but it's it's a pretty baller LS like
Dart neck Shin block Six B heads All Pro
heads uh 427 T sprank rods Pistons uh
Garrett it's like a 7679 basically it's
like a g42 450 it does yeah that was a
struggle with trying to find one big
enough to not choke the engine out and
create a ton of back pressure but small
enough like I don't it made 1,00 on 15
lbs and like I never have yet to use
that much you know like it won't even
make enough load drifting out here to
make 10 lb you know um but I built the
turbo setup like I built the headers and
I built really everything except the
cage um and then this is like called
header Shield it's really nipping and
stuff like I've never seen it before
yeah it's like there's like a insulation
in there and then they do that like you
send it to them and they do it and it
helps like a ton I mean like you can
almost touch the downpipe and it's fine
wow so what's crazy to me is like in
Drag Racing our thrill lasts about like
5 or 6 seconds but you guys beat on
these things for you know some laps like
here today there's a probably 30 seconds
or something like that I would say
average is probably like 45 seconds I
bet tandems are pretty wide tandems are
what's fine so if we can't figure this
out I'll take you guys in the E36 and
even just tandems in that car will be
super fun tandems are it's so
challenging it's like comp drifting like
imagine if you were drag racing somebody
you did two runs and you couldn't pass
them but you had to stay as close to
them as possible you know so it's like
people think like if I take this car and
I compete against a 350Z it's an easy
win but it's not because I still have to
follow them so I can be way faster and
way more hooked up but then I go to
follow them and I I can't even keep the
car in drift right so that's
comp drifting is I have such a love hate
with it because I feel that drifting is
the Motorsport where the driver matters
the most you know like it's least about
the car but it's a judge sport so then
you're like you're dealing with that you
know and and everyone agrees or
disagrees with calls and it gets
dramatic you know it's the cooling
system is really important um we all run
like air to- air intercoolers nobody
runs in air to water except for like
supercharger guys where it's like built
in there's a lot of things that are
similar and a lot of things that are
different and it's like I try to look at
drag racing and be like what do they do
that we don't do and like why don't we
but it's like this is like drag racing
in the 70s like as far as the
development like drifting's only been
around for like 20 something years so
like there's not that many like prole
car builds to look at and see different
things you're trying to think out of the
box trying yeah a little bit you know
like turbo LS isn't very common in
drifting I thought turbo L was stupid
for interesting and then I got this car
not even this car anymore but it came
with a turbo LS and I was like I'll try
it and uh it's been really good except
for today of course the one the one uh
dry sump though I mean a lot of people
don't run a dry sump but I'm a big
proponent of dry sumps cuz we're pulling
like a g and a half to two G's in these
if they're hooked up and it's like
that's all different direction so you
know people will put ls's in their cars
and then blow them up and be like ls's
suck and it's like no you just you have
a good oil system something he
experienced like when we first put
together the Nova the the 540 big block
you know you go from 140 or whatever and
then you go to slamming on the brakes
pulling the shoe and then he'd notice
oil pressure dropping so bad and that's
what he had to do so I can't imagine
going side to side and yeah you're doing
all sorts of different directions you
know so that's but I mean otherwise like
it's you know it's pretty much the same
we probably rev a lot lower like I feel
like in Drag Racing I don't know what
you've rub this to but like I rub it to
68 you know cuz like you're sitting on
the limiter for a long time
sometimes I've done 8 eight grand
burnouts in the Falcons yeah see that's
a lot like if you tell that it's BL
their mind really they think you need
like solid lifters and all that to do 8
Grand on an LS but it's like we're also
staying there proba for like 76 7800
with 30 lb of it's pretty much there the
whole run too right that's the other
weird thing Auto converter torque
converter stuff it's also all about load
too I mean when you're spinning it's not
as much load so true yeah it's we try to
stay out of peak torque get above that
yeah yeah see we're kind of always
running through it you know we're just
right there on it just to break them
loose all the time right look he's
arrived that's a piece of crap
today we're just so out of our element
we feel like we're in the way here like
I just no it doesn't I mean this is a
private day so it's not like it's a comp
or something right nobody really cares
what time is it that's good 4:00 all
right
I should take you guys for laps in E36
first see out I haven't driven
any where are we out of our
element the drag strip's over there I
feel like yeah I'll see you later it's
got a turbo LS we know that we know
those all I see is fart pipes
and they're nice
people step out of your comfort zone
this thing got now last how you roll the
window down this is my window switch
nice this epic is this a is this a
little six Banger or what is this yeah
probably an inline six I'd have to guess
na a it's perfect though it drives
pretty good good beginner car yeah it's
like the perfect beginner car cuz it
drives it pretty much drives
itself the bumper touching the tire I
don't know what you want out of it solid
I don't know what you want out of it if
you squint it's man waiting for him to
start it up and like to dodge the uh
methanol and I'm like wait it's already
running wait it's already running and it
pulled out
[Music]
and
d
[Music]
he's pretty good at that yeah he is this
car feels so slow after doing a couple
laps in my V right like I've never done
it back to back like that normally I
have one car or the other you know
yeah so like I said you can either just
like start like start turning and then
clutch kick kick the back end out or you
can hand bre probably easier to start a
clutch kick but either one works then
obviously when you hand break you just
push pull the clut you know push the
clutch in as you hand bre otherwise
it'll stall uh my biggest thing is
remembering which way to go on the
course yeah I would try to like like
just do the first two turns and then
like or go and do the last two turns
don't try to link the whole thing cuz
you're going to it's that it's going to
be hard the first time um you can if
you're feeling it but uh yeah that's
pretty much it transitions you let go to
the wheel I mean you let the wheel sell
steer do its thing basically more
throttle more angle less throttle less
angle much it I mean you'll figure it
out all
right oh my God you knocked off
my I'm already breaking
dude
I'm
sorry and there he
[Music]
goes
oo
oh
yep come on Lightning
McQueen
hey that was not bad to the
cone
yep three
wi good
oh under
steer okay where's he going he
oh there we
go h
a if you're not part of
D send it a little too hard
but
there we
go that was good
a the cone
Destroyer you're keep going keep
[Music]
going I got to get you perfect
[Music]
that's tough dude you did a couple good
ones oh man I can do better I just need
time seat time yeah the track is like
pretty loose you can definitely tell
like sometimes I clutch kick it too hard
from the beginning and then it just gets
out of hand mhm but it's it's definitely
tough are you using the handbrake at all
or you just clutch KCK I tried the
handbrake once um you really don't need
it honestly you could probably clutch
kick it as as as long as you're at this
track cuz it's it's pretty loose but
right it's different man it's definitely
different yeah a little bit of a thrill
yeah definitely it's definitely really
fun I don't want to like I would just
keep making laps if I could I don't I
don't want to um burn his tires up too
bad were they smoking at all that that
one last lap around that last corner you
did pretty good yeah yeah I'm just going
to need seat time for this thing it's
like
it's a challenge definitely a challenge
I think you just need an S10 and you
probably do okay build a drift S10 yeah
jumping in something you've never driven
something a challenge this car in
particular is like a little weird with
the steering like in drifting I feel
like at least for me everything's in in
the steering yeah like if it doesn't
steer nicely or self steer right like
it's really hard to drive and and
unconfident inspiring and this car is
like I don't know what it is I don't
know if it's at the power steering so
light something about it is a little
[Applause]
I could I could see that I mean it's the
first car I've ever drifted so I
wouldn't know what feels good and what
doesn't but well my first lap in it I
was like I haven't I've only driven it
one other time and I was like this is
kind of weird I could do way better if I
had a little more seat time for sure I
mean like you knew you see so many
people like they like start messing up
and they just like they don't know when
to just stop collect themselves and
start again you know so you did really
well there and like honestly really
really good first time
drifting
I can't fit in the
seat
[Music]
no
[Music]
bad
dude that's bad that started
working again that's
sick BR I didn't expect it to be that
fast
like
that's
awesome it's an interesting experience
yeah it's it's definitely different but
that's that's really fun I wish I could
do that is Stitch real and it was
like
[Music]
[Music]
okay
I got to learn how to do that I know
that's what I thought I was like I have
got to I got to do this it's not what I
mean like it's not at all what I
expected hon Nei yeah it was great it
was like it was like a roller coaster
what I thought it was going to be like a
little rougher that makes sense so
smooth the tires are gone already oh
yeah probably that's four laps just put
them on that's how it goes I think how
long those cars last four laps here too
less than that right that's usually too
Less in a car like
this
yeah oh these are the wrong gloves I
don't want to break my luck yeah where's
your pizza gloves these are my tire
changing gloves no now I took the pizza
gloves off yeah so the pizza gloves I'm
sorry just threw that at you the pizza
gloves are my fun event gloves these are
my serious gloves right oh so we're
getting serious I just keep them both in
the car okay but I was running the pizza
gloves when problems so we're switching
to the serious ones getting
[Music]
serious that's so
fun it's a good time right
yes it's your kind looks great to
me just like get on the one wheel right
next
I get the first and The Last Ride don't
say last another run another run another
never say last one first and
another I learned that from BMX and this
kid rode with me for the first time this
is like 10 years ago he was like I was
like this is my last run and he was like
bro you know you shouldn't say that and
I was like no it's fine and I crashed so
ever since then I never say last
[Music]
[Music]
one
yeah
everybody oh my god
[Music]
dude
[Music]
he just wanted to see the Flames
coming
out woo
[Music]
W like foot when we were up on the wall
towards the end my foot slipp up the gas
I was like TR to find
[Music]
it
[Music]
[Music]
a
that's
way
woo
that that thing is badass man he's a
Wheelman too he's he's a good driver my
favorite part on the OVO is when you
come off the bank and you just like you
transition and just like you carry so
much speed you don't have to slow down
my God you just let it dig when you're
when you're going towards that wall and
then you finally grab the E bra
and then you you're in it it's like oh
my God I can't believe we didn't hit the
wall it's like the harder you're in it
the harder it hooks what's crazy is you
guys were like still 3 ft from the ball
oh yeah those were weak ass runs on the
wall the first run my foot like slipped
past the throttle and I was like I need
like I needed to be on throttle to not
go into the wall and I was like oh
it was fine but that's different than
that that's yes I mean especially that
other those Banks those Banks and this
car just so much grip it's
like that's a awesome dude oh that's fun
I'm so glad you got to ride
along man now I'm going to have to
have one I might have to bring my
girlfriend down
here everything's like the opposite of
drag racing I feel like yeah you're like
on the gas to stay off the wall and I'm
like well what's funny to me has always
been like when you started building your
Nova like your Nova to me is like this
car and then my Miata is like your S10
like I was battling dudes with cars like
this in my Miata with like a like you
know a junkyard motor you know I mean it
made 500 wheel but and then you got the
Nova and it's like kind of the similar
thing I just thought that was funny it's
like very similar like you were the
underdog in the S10 then you get the
Nova do people give you when you go
race to Nova like oh must be nice big
block they did at first and racing has
progressed so much even just the last
couple years that car is an like now my
white car that I'm I'm building they're
going to say the same thing for it for
mod whatever well thank you for
us out man that's
amazing that like that so it was cool to
give you guys a ride I don't watch much
YouTube you guys are the only YouTube
channel I watch honestly you comment on
there all the time yeah cuz I watch I
watch them all I'm so glad we got a
chance to link up dude same same I'm
glad I got to go first drift experience
yeah you better come out I'm going to
let you drive oh yeah that' be sick I
want to do that for sure get my first
experience where I build my own car y
hopefully I'll come up there and race
sometime when I get a car together
definitely should be sooner than later
hopefully if you can do this you can
drag
your yeah I feel like this is more
challenging from a driving standpoint
than what we do a lot of what we do is
just the preparation and the tuning and
stuff like that just fine details uh a
lot of thinking for sure yeah that's
what I'm kind of excited about is like
learning something new cuz drifting I
can't there's not much more I can learn
or do unless it's like at a competition
level which I've been doing but comes
it's still up hate you know so it's like
I I don't know I just I like you
learning is the best part like people
want to rush through the learning
process and get good and it's like the
the progression is the most fun it's the
most rewarding once you stop progressing
it's kind of boring right you know so
that's why I'm excited to try it like I
wasn't interested in Drag Racing until
like no prep and I've tried to just
learn from watching like just picking up
different information and uh it'll be
hard and we'll have to learn that's like
I don't know that's what I'm excited
about
man questions I'll definitely be hitting
you up with questions if I I don't know
that I'm the best leer but I know just
what I've seen in videos and like Tred
to learn from watching you know so I
think we got to build a drift S10 that'
be sick you should definitely build a
drift car nobody's going to watch the
videos but it'd be really fun people
don't like watching drifting I guess I
get it there's no goal I I think it's
hard to follow cuz like I don't even
know how the judging scoring works like
it's hard to know the rules ofs do a
little better but do that and I think
like if you're not experienced with
drifting it's harder to tell like like I
could see 10 of my run and see something
different in each run whereas if you if
you're not it's all going to look the
same it's all going to look cool to us
but like you're like oh I messed up
there or something yeah like I stayed on
throttle here and rode the edge of the
track or whatever so I think that's
probably part of it and so many need to
do it but it is really F GL it worked
out thank you so much dude that was
awesome thank you so much it was a blast
that point that I don't care what
happens to the rest of the trip this was
worth driving down here just for this
day yeah that makes me happy I really
wanted you guys to experience thing cuz
like I know people look at drifting kind
of like it's stupid and I get it cuz
like from an outside in it seems stupid
but it's a lot of fun no it's cool so
I'm glad you guys got I'm glad I got to
give you guys your first drift
experience thank you yeah thank you all
right guys so we finally just got done
editing this video we're going to try
and keep uploading every other day while
we're down here at sick week um I just
wanted to give a huge shout out to uh
Taylor Ray for having us out and uh
teaching trying to teach Billy how to
drift and and uh letting us all ride in
his vet and drifting around we had a
blast it was a great day leave a link in
the description for his YouTube channel
make sure you guys check it out he's
building a no prep car but that dude's a
driver um and we had a blast so and stay
tuned we're going to try and keep
uploading every other day while we're
down here so thank you guys and we'll
see you soon like this don't record me
playing this Tommy it's rude
too much must St
we can you throw your
Club LNG it you can I wouldn't advise it
though I got it covered no worries well
now we're not going the right way we got
to go that
way sure
yes are you absolutely sure yeah cuz
Billy's going that way why the is
he going that
way look at his
windshield that's Billy's windshield
cleaning
job and that's Billy trying to tear his
ACL in the middle of West Virginia I'm
getting ready dude getting ready
for might have to do some acrobatics
never know he's just getting ready to
get blasted in basketball that's what he
meant
morning
Steve did you sleep okay on the couch s
fine made my own bed so I didn't stick
to the couch when I woke up nice what's
on the schedule today uh well any good
news so far uh I found a car wash I
cleaned up the Malibu um it's very hot
that's one good thing you got to watch
out for the lizards there's a bunch of
Geckos out there mhm they bite busy busy
busy yeah yeah I love my favorite part
of YouTube is when I film
myself so that I don't have to do voice
over like I'll just go ahead and film
what I need to say in person mhm and you
know it came out perfect like nobody
bothered me a bird didn't on my
head you know helicopter didn't fly by a
horse you know who knows what happens
when I'm trying to film but it was
perfect and then I get back here and I
go to edit it and guess what I had black
all over my nose through the whole
thing so I can't show it or I could
should I should I just put it in there
with black all over my nose
whatever
yeah like this ready breathe in breathe
out a got do the arms on top oh that
that was great that was nice I film that
from B 3 days dude you did all you got
was our chest and it looked like I was
just sorry there was nothing I could do
how long have a drive is
