when I did my summer internship here I
absolutely loved the place and was sad
to see it end so I was thrilled when I
came back so soon as a junior developer
I've seen myself grow professionally a
lot in my time here and I'm excited to
see where it takes me
but there's been a lot of things that
I've worked on that have not worked out
but balancing the successes with the
failures and talking about both has
really helped me grow my career here it
makes me feel pretty good I love coming
into work every day working with people
in different geographies it's exciting
you get lots of different perspectives
we need this for innovation diversity of

office like once a week we have our
global 10 holes where all our offices
link up from around the world and it
feels like we're all in the same rooms

hackathon that it is unique to Atlassian
it is a place to go take any idea that
you really have wanted to work on and
make that change and be the change you
see Atlassian it's a whole bunch more

of people all you need to do is look

some people even bring their dogs to
work which is absolutely the best part
of my day at Atlassian is a great
culture of respecting the individual and
their flexibility maybe I'll log on to
do like a 7:00 a.m. call sometimes but
maybe I'll leave it like 3 p.m. because
I need to pick up the kids from school
as well working in tech is very
fast-paced and so meditation for me is
really my opportunity to have a break
one of my favorite things to do in my
own time is to bake and also love
sharing with my team people can bring
their whole self to work and the company
thinks about it employs us people for
anything else
from big companies to even students it's

their products having other people in
