रुपया भी माफ नहीं करेंगे अरे रानो क्या

हुआ जबसे आई हो पैसे ही गिने जा रही हो सब

ठीक है रानो रोते हुए लाडो को सारी बातें

बताती है रानो बहन आपको 00 नहीं देने

बूढ़े पक्षियों के पास जाना चाहिए फिर

जैसे ही बारिश बंद होती है रानो चिड़िया

गौरी मैंने सुना है आप एक दिन की गैस का

चिड़िया से पूरा 200 हज मांग रहे हो अब आप

में से किसी के घर गैस चूल्हा तो है नहीं

जो गैस की कीमत पता चले इस चिड़िया ने

हमारी पूरी गैस खत्म की है पैसे तो अब

देने ही होंगे हां हां पूछो इससे जब यह घर

आई थी तो गैस आंधी की तरह चल रही थी और

खाना बनाते बनाते इसी ने खत्म कर दी हमें

इंसाफ मिलना चाहिए हमारे 00 देकर जंगल के

किसी और पक्षी के घर गैस चूल्हा नहीं था

वो कालू गोरी का यकीन करते हैं और चिड़िया

से पैसे देने की बात करते हैं चिड़िया

आपने ही गैस खत्म की है तो हरजाना तो देना

पड़ेगा चिड़िया सभी का फैसला सुनकर बहुत

दुखी होती है परंतु फैसला स्वीकार करती है

मेरे पास अभी 8000 हैं मैं बाकी के पैसे

थोड़े-थोड़े करके चुका दूंगी कोई बात नहीं

बाकी के रुपए जल्दी ही दे देना अब हम चलते

हैं कालू गोरी खुशी-खुशी वहां से चले जाते

हैं ऐसे ही कुछ दिन बीत जाते हैं अचानक से

कबूतर चिड़िया के घर आता है चिड़िया बहन

मैं आपसे ₹ ज उधार लेने आया हूं दरअसल

मेरा सिलेंडर खत्म हो गया है और बारिश में

काम भी बंद है तो इस वजह से हाथ थोड़ा तंग

है टूनी कबूतर की बात सुनकर चौक जाती है

कबूतर भ भैया आपके घर भी गैस सिलेंडर है

क्या हां रानू मेरी पत्नी लूसी ने बहुत

जिद्द की बारिशों में वे चूल्हे पर खाना

नहीं बनाएगी तो इस बार मुझे गैस चूहा लेना

ही पड़ा चिड़िया को कबूतर के घर गैस चूहा

होने से थोड़ी तसल्ली मिलती है वो सारी

बातें कबूतर को बताती है क्या कहा कालू

गोरी ने आपसे एक दिन गैस चलाने के 00 लिए

हैं मैं ये अन्याय नहीं होने दूंगा तुम कल

फिर से पंचायत जोड़ना कबूतर की बात मानकर

रानो ठीक वैसा ही करती है वो अगले दिन

पंचायत जोड़ लेती है और चिड़िया की तरफ से

कबूतर बात करता है कालू गोरी आपको चिड़िया

के रुपए वापस देने होंगे आ हा ऐसे कैसे

रुपए वापस करें चिड़िया ने हमारी गैस खत्म

की थी उसी के पैसे लिए हैं हमने फ्री के

नहीं लिए गोरी चिड़िया ने एक दिन में

जितना भी खाना बनाया था आप मुझे सब बताएं

गोरी कुछ नहीं बोलती तभी पंचायत के मुखिया

सवाल कर करते हैं हां हां गौरी सब सच सच

बताओ हां चाय और पकोड़े बनाए थे चिड़िया

ने वो भी ढेर सारे कालू की बात सुनते ही

कबूतर झट से बोलता है सभी पक्षी ध्यान से

सुनो उस दिन जो फैसला हुआ था वो गलत था

मेरे घर भी गैस चूहा है और सिलेंडर ₹ ज

में भरता है ना कि 00 में और इतना सा खाना

बनाने पर सारा सिलेंडर खत्म कभी नहीं होता

जितना खाना आपके घर चिड़िया ने बनाया था

इतना खाना आप मेरे घर बना लें और चिड़िया

के रुपए वापस करें गोरी यह तो गड़बड़ हो

गई अब यह कबूतर पैसे दिलवा के ही मानेगा

अब भलाई इसी में है कि आप पैसे चुपचाप

चिड़िया को दे दें फिर उन दोनों को बहुत

शर्म आती है वो चुपचाप से चिड़िया के रुपए

वापस करते हैं ये लो चिड़िया अपने पैसे और

आगे से कभी भी हमारे घर चाय बनाने मत आ

जाना क्यों नहीं गौरी इतने रुपए में तो

खुद के गैस चूले आ जाएंगे चिड़िया के फिर

आपके घर चाय बनाने की क्या जरूरत ऐसे कहकर

सभी पक्षी हंसने लगते हैं कालू गोरी तो

चुपचाप वहां से भाग जाते हैं चिड़िया अपने

रुपए वापस पाकर बहुत खुश थी जंगल में इस

बार संतरे के पेड़ बहुत ज्यादा हो गए थे

जहां भी देखो वहां पर सिर्फ संतरे ही लगे

हुए थे जंगल के सारे पक्षी संतरे खा खाकर

पक गए थे कालू अब मैं ये संतरे नहीं

खाऊंगी अगर तुम्हें इस घर में रहना है तो

कहीं से भी मेरे लिए कोई दूसरा फल लेकर

आना ही होगा गौरी आप यह कैसी बातें करती

हो आप तो अच्छे से जानती हो कि पूरे जंगल

में बस संतरे के पेड़ ही लगे हैं तो मैं

आपके लिए दूसरा फल कहां से लाऊं कहां से

क्या मतलब है सुंदरवन के जंगल जाओ और वहां

से मेरे लिए मीठे-मीठे आम लाओ गौरी जरा

सोच समझ कर बोलो सुंदरवन क्या मेरी जेब

में रखा है जो मैं तुम्हें लाकर आम दे दूं

पूरे दो दिन लगते हैं आने जाने में तो चले

जाओ मैं दो दिनों में मर थोड़ी ना जाऊंगी

मैं दो दिनों तक ये संतरे ही खा लूंगी

गोरी आप ये कैसी बातें करती हो दो दिन दो

दिनों में तो मेरी हालत खराब हो जाएगी आप

देख नहीं रही ये जून की गर्मी है जून की

गर्मी हो या सर्दी की गर्मी अब तो घर में

तुम तभी आओगे जब मेरे लिए आम लाओगे ऐसे

कहकर गौरी कावी तपती दोपहर में कालू को घर

से बाहर कर देती है कालू कव्वा खूब दरवाजा

बजाता है लेकिन गोरी कवी दरवाजा नहीं

खोलती ये गोरी की बच्ची दरवाजा नहीं

खोलेगी मुझे कितनी धूप लग रही है अब मैं

क्या करूं ऐसे सोचकर कालू कव्वा टोनी

चिड़िया के घर चला जाता है कालू भैया आप

इस समय यहां सब ठीक तो है टनी चिड़िया कुछ

भी ठीक नहीं है गोरी ने मुझे घर से निकाल

दिया है जरूर आपने कोई ना कोई शैतानी की

होगी वरना इस भयंकर गर्मी में गोरी बहन

ऐसा कभी नहीं करती कुछ नहीं किया इस बार

सारी गलती गोरी की है यह कहकर कालू कवार

रोते हुए चिड़िया को गोरी की सारी बातें

बता देता है हां कालू भैया आप ठीक कहते हो

इस बार तो सारी गलती गोरी बहन की है टनी

चिड़िया इस समस्या का कोई समाधान निकालो

मैं इस भयंकर गर्मी में घर से बाहर नहीं

रह सकता कालू भैया आप इस जंगल के सबसे

जिद्दी पक्षी हो अपने आगे किसी की नहीं

सुनते फिर गोरी बहन मेरी बात कैसे सुनेगी

उल्टा मुझे ही धमका देगी टूनी चिड़िया की

ऐसी बातें सुनकर कालू कव्वा बहुत दुखी

होता है और कबूतर के घर जाता है कहो कालू

यार इस भयंकर गर्मी में यहां आना कैसे हुआ

मैं तुम्हारी क्या मदद कर सकता हूं कालू

रोते हुए कबूतर को सारी बातें बता देता है

प्लीज कबूतर मेरी पत्नी को मेरे साथ आकर

समझा दे वो मुझे घर के अंदर नहीं आने दे

रही मैं इस भयंकर गर्मी में कहां जाऊंगा

गोरी किसी की बात नहीं सुनती परंतु तुम

इतना कहते हो तो मैं चलता हूं तुम्हारे

साथ और समझाने की कोशिश करूंगा कबूतर की

यह बात सुनकर कालू कव्वा खुश हो जाता है

और खुशी-खुशी उसके साथ अपने घर आने लगता

है गोरी दरवाजा खोलो मैं हूं कबूतर किसी

काम से आया हूं मैं सब जानती हूं कि तू

किस काम से आया है यहां वो कालू तेरे घर

जाकर खूब रोया होगा परंतु मैं किसी की

नहीं सुनने वाली मुझे बस आम खाने हैं

संतरे नहीं खाने गोरी प्लीज गोरी प्लीज

दरवाजा खोल दो मैं गर्मी में यहां वहां

भटक रहा हूं इस तरह से कालू कव्वा खूब

मिन्नतें करता है लेकिन गोरी कवी दरवाजा

नहीं खोलती मैंने तो पहले ही कहा था तेरी

पत्नी किसी की नहीं सुनती चल यार ठीक है

अब मैं चलता हूं मुझे भी बहुत तेज प्यास

लगी है ऐसे समझाते हुए कबूतर भी वहां से

चला जाता है अब तो कालू कव्वा बहुत दुखी

था कि वो कहां जाए अब मैं कहां जाऊं तनी

चिड़िया का घोंसला तो बहुत छोटा है ऊपर से

उसके चार-चार बच्चे कबूतर की पत्नी भी

मुझे अपने घर में नहीं रहने देगी मैं

मिट्ठू तोते के घर चला जाता हूं वो तो

अकेला है ऐसे कह क कर कालू कव्वा मिट्ठू

तोते के घर की तरफ निकल जाता है दोपहर का

समय था सूरज बिल्कुल सर के ऊपर था कालू

कव्वे को सिर्फ मिट्ठू तोते पर ही आस थी

मिट्ठू मिट्ठू यार दरवाजा खोल मैं आया हूं

कालू बहुत गर्मी लगी है कालू काफी देर तक

दरवाजा खटखटा है परंतु दरवाजा नहीं खुलता

तभी उसके पास वाला पक्षी अपने घर से बाहर

आता है सारी की सारी नींद खराब कर दी बेव

कूफ ने पागलों की तरह कब से दरवाजा पीट

रहा है दिखाई नहीं देता घर में ताला लगा

हुआ है मिट्ठू तोता अपने फूफ के घर गया है

अब तू भी यहां से भाग वो अनजान पक्षी कालू

कव्वे को बहुत बुरी तरह से धमका है बेचारा

कालू कव्वा तो डर जाता है ील भैया अगर आप

मुझे थोड़ा सा पानी दे दें तो आपकी बड़ी

कृपा होगी मेरा गला सूख गया है अरे रे

मुझे क्या मूर्ख समझा है जो मैं तुझे अपना

पानी दूं अब भाग यहां से वरना डाल से नीचे

फेंक दूंगा अनजान पक्षी की ऐसी बातें

सुनकर कालू कव्वा तुरंत ही दूसरी डाल पर

बैठ जाता है गौरी आपने ये बहुत बुरा किया

मुझे कहीं से पानी भी नहीं मिल रहा पीने

को अब मैं बड़ी नदी से पानी पी सकूं इतनी

हिम्मत भी नहीं बची इस तरह से कालू कव्वे

को तेज गर्मी में अपने लिए आसरा ढूंढते

ढूंढते दो दिन बीत जाते हैं परंतु उसे

कहीं भी आसरा नहीं नहीं मिलता मैं ये कहां

आ गया हूं अब तो किसी पक्षी का घर भी नहीं

दिखाई पड़ता जिससे मैं मदद मांग लूं ऐसे

सोचकर कालू कव्वा तेज धूप में उड़े जा रहा

था कि तभी उसे चक्कर आने लगते हैं और वह

जमीन पर गिर जाता है कबूतर भैया सुना आपने

इस गर्मी में गोरी ने कालू को घर से भगा

दिया था पता नहीं ये गोरी कवी बच्चों जैसी

जिद करना कब छोड़ेगी हां टनी बहन मैंने भी

बहुत सम झाया गोरी को परंतु उसने कालू को

घर के अंदर नहीं आने दिया परंतु मेरी भी

एक ना सुनी उस गोरी की बच्ची ने क्या कहा

कालू भैया को अभी तक अंदर नहीं आने दिया

अब तो बुला ही लिया होगा वरना इस गर्मी

में कालू कब का मर जाता चलो कबूतर भैया हम

गोरी के घर जाते हैं और पता करते हैं कि

कालू भैया घर में है या नहीं फिर वे दोनों

गोरी के घर जाते हैं लेकिन गोरी कवी तो

दरवाजा नहीं खोलती वो अपनी जिद के आगे कोई

भी बात नहीं सुनती कबूतर भैया हमें कालू

भैया को ढूंढना ही होगा वरना वो इस भयंकर

गर्मी में मर जाएंगे ऐसे कहकर वे दोनों

कालू को ढूंढने निकल जाते हैं वो सारा

जंगल छान मारते हैं तब जाकर उन्हें कालू

कव्वा जमीन पर पड़ा मिल जाता है कालू भैया

आंखें खोलो आपको क्या हुआ है मैं कालू के

लिए पानी लेकर आती हूं आप तब तक इन्हें

किसी छाया में ले जाओ नी अब पानी का कोई

फायदा नहीं होगा क्योंकि कालू मर चुका है

उन दोनों को कालू की मौत का बहुत दुख होता

है वो कहीं ना कहीं खुद को भी उसकी मौत का

जिम्मेदार समझ रहे थे अगर मैं उस दिन कालू

कव्वे को अकेला छोड़कर नहीं जाता तो वह हम

सबके बीच जिंदा होता आप ठीक कहते हो अगर

मैंने भी गौरी को समझाया होता तो ऐसा कभी

नहीं होता हमें माफ कर देना कालू भैया तो

प्यारे दोस्तों हमें इस कहानी से यह सीख

मिलती है कि हमें ऐसी जिद्द नहीं करनी

चाहिए जिससे दूसरों को परेशानी झेलनी पड़े
