Stress Testing Vests Against Razors | Scum 0.9 Tips, Tricks & Guides
Summary
TLDRIn this video, the host tests the effectiveness of a bulletproof vest versus a stab-proof vest against a razor attack inside an abandoned bunker. Through multiple trials, the host demonstrates that while the bulletproof vest offers more durability, the stab-proof vest provides better immediate protection against damage in close combat situations. The trade-off is reduced inventory space and weight. The video concludes with practical advice for using the stab-proof vest for improved survivability. Shoutouts to channel members and reminders to like, subscribe, and stay updated on 'Scum' content wrap up the video.
Takeaways
- 🔍 The video tests the difference between a bulletproof vest and a stab-proof vest against a razor.

Q & A
What is the main purpose of the video?
-The main purpose of the video is to test and demonstrate the difference between a bulletproof vest and a stab-proof vest when facing an attack from a razor.
What type of attack is the stab-proof vest designed to protect against?
-The stab-proof vest is designed to protect against stabbing attacks.
How does the presenter test the effectiveness of the vests?
-The presenter tests the vests by allowing a character to attack them with a razor and observing the damage taken and the number of hits endured before being knocked out.
What was the result of the test with the bulletproof vest?
-With the bulletproof vest, the presenter took 10 damage per hit and was knocked out after the third hit.
What was the result of the test with the stab-proof vest?
-With the stab-proof vest, the presenter took no damage for the first three hits, but started taking damage from the fourth hit onwards.
Which vest provided better survivability in the test?
-The stab-proof vest provided better survivability as it allowed the presenter to endure more hits before taking damage compared to the bulletproof vest.
What are the trade-offs of using a stab-proof vest over a bulletproof vest?
-Using a stab-proof vest instead of a bulletproof vest means losing eight inventory slots and having a heavier vest that weighs four kg.
What is the presenter's recommendation based on the test results?
-The presenter recommends a stab-proof vest for extra protection and longer survivability, especially if the viewer is not concerned about inventory slots.
Who are the channel members mentioned in the video?
-The channel members mentioned are Mega hoof, Mary G, OT nectar 940, and Phoenix.

Outlines
🛡️ Testing Bulletproof vs. Stabproof Vests
The video begins with the host welcoming viewers to the channel and announcing an experiment to test the effectiveness of bulletproof vests versus stabproof vests against a razor. The host enters an abandoned bunker to conduct the test, comparing the vests' resistance to stabbing attacks. The bulletproof vest withstands three hits, each causing significant damage, before the host is knocked out. The stabproof vest, on the other hand, shows no damage after three hits but starts to falter by the seventh hit. The host concludes that while a bulletproof vest lasts longer, it offers less protection against stabbing and also takes up eight inventory slots due to its weight and lack of storage space. The video ends with a call to action for viewers to like, subscribe, and enable notifications for more content.

Highlights
Introduction to testing the difference between a bulletproof vest and a stab-proof vest against a razor.
Logically, a stab-proof vest should provide good protection against stabbing attacks.
Demonstration of the first test with a bulletproof vest, taking three hits with 10 damage each.
The tester passes out after the third hit while wearing a bulletproof vest.
Transition to testing with a stab-proof vest, expecting a different outcome.
No damage is taken from the first three hits while wearing a stab-proof vest.
Damage is taken on the fourth hit with the stab-proof vest.
Comparison of damage resistance: 90% with a bulletproof vest vs. 55% with a stab-proof vest.
Discussion on the trade-off between survivability and inventory space.
Recommendation that a stab-proof vest might be better for extra protection but at the cost of inventory slots.
Stab-proof vest weighs 4 kg and has no inventory space, a significant drawback.
Initial test shows no immediate damage with a stab-proof vest, unlike the bulletproof vest.
Conclusion that a stab-proof vest may increase survivability rate compared to a bulletproof vest.

Transcripts
welcome to the channel everybody now
today I'm going down into the abandoned
bunker to run a little test
so let's get straight into a shelving
so today I decided to test the
difference between a bulletproof vest
and a stud proof vest
up against a razor
now logically
subproof vest should give you
quite good protection against these guys
obviously the main form of attack is
stabbing
oh hello
didn't EU jump down then all right get
you off I'm not taking any damage from
that yet
and then we'll just get into like a fist
fight of him
okay so bulletproof vests
three hits we're taking about 10 damage
each time 11 damage and on the third
trip we got knocked out all passed out
ah
ah
okay surprisingly taking a bit longer to
go down than I thought I would
be too close in proximity to this guy if
you know what I mean I don't want to get
too far away can you jump on us I don't
want
just want the melee
are you missing me yeah you are
oh there you go
right then so
we'll respawn and go back down with a
stud proof vest this time
so let's head down here
exactly the same thing we're gonna run
into this room and we'll attract one
into here
all right
just do this again let's bear with me
and uh one should jump down in a second
oh I had to get rid of a puppet but
I didn't take any damage
I did the same thing at the beginning as
well and jumped on us so it's a fair
test at the moment
so three hits no damage four
if hit we got damage sick fit we got
damage
seventh we got damage
but as you can see
90 of our bulletproof and 55 on the
stamp proof so
yeah your bulletproof's gonna last a lot
longer but you're gonna die probably a
Bitcoin in a bulletproof vest rather
than a stockroom first so you're better
off probably taking a stability vest if
you want that extra protection and
you're not bothered about your inventory
slots there you go
so
all in all taking a stubbury vest down
there with you
it's probably going to give you a little
longer survivability rate
than what a bulletproof vest would
on the other hand you are going to lose
eight Slots of inventory space
by not taking a bulletproof vest because
with a stat proof vest one it weighs
four kg
secondly it has no inventory space
so you are going to lose that obviously
when you go down with one but as you saw
initially
we got away with not being
damaged straight away in the first three
hits as well as passing out with a stat
proof vest on over a bulletproof vest so
a few things to take away from this if
you will
and I hope you enjoyed it
just a quick shout out to our channel
