a.m. proverbs 31 morning routine in this
video I'll share with you daily morning
habits to step into your woman of God

I woke up at 5:00 a.m. I used to not
always be a morning person but my body
is now used to getting up early if you
want to start waking up early which I
know a lot of y'all do I encourage you
to focus on having accountability
setting your phone alarm across the room
and rewarding yourself with some coffee
or your favorite drink right when you
wake up after I get out of bed I do my
morning skin care to wake me up I like
to keep my skin care simple starting
with a face wash
applying a holonic acid serum vitamin C
serum and moisturizer I also add these
eye masks that feel so refreshing and
are perfect for me to keep on my face
while I'm doing my morning Bible study I
lowkey feel like a queen in these eye
masks not going to lie now it's time for
the real reason I'm up so early in the
morning to spend time with God I need to
get in the secret place with God every
single morning I can't even talk to a
human being before I spend time with God
because I need intimate time alone with
the Lord first before this time I make
myself a cup of coffee and pour myself a
glass of water and I'm ready for My Date
With Jesus my time with God looks like
reading and studying my Bible and
journaling what God is teaching me
through his word I know a lot of y'all
are beginners in your faith Journey so
if the Bible feels too intimidating for
you I recommend reading a devotional
with scriptures in it I have a devot
called The Joy of the in between you can
read that is perfect for you if you're
needing help to spend time with God in
the mornings and I'll link that for you
below I also have a community called the
tree where we give you a bible plan for
every single morning so you never have
to wonder what to read whatever you do
make sure you are reading scripture at
the start of your morning typically in
the morning I grab a highlighter pen and
dig into the word I also love going
through a commentary on Blue Letter
Bible there a slle I like to spend at
least 30 minutes with him in in the
morning and sometimes it's an hour this
is such a sweet time for me in the
morning when no one is awake and it's
just me and the Lord spending time
together I also am diligent to not look
at my phone even though it is so
tempting to go on social media and
sometimes I do slip up but I am working
on keeping this time sacred and not
letting the noise of this world block
out the still small voice of God after
reading my Bible it's time for me to get
ready for for the gym I usually always
move my body after spending time with
God this is a way for me to Habit stack
in the morning so once I have done one
positive habit which is spending time
with God and reading my Bible it's
easier for me to do another positive
habit right after which is to move my
body I'm already on a roll at this point
I decided to wear this workout set from
viori I also wore this zip up over it I
typically will put on light makeup for
the gym with tinted moist moisturizer
concealer and blush I also love putting
my hair in this High pony there's
something about putting in a little
effort before going to the gym I think
it really helps with performance in your
workouts and it helps me to just give it
my all so I am absolutely not one of
those people that can go into a workout
without eating first I view food as fuel
and I want to make sure I fuel my body
before getting a good workout in today I
decided to make myself a very simple
meal with a Vans waffle full with peanut
butter and cinnamon along with a protein
shake in my shake I add vanilla protein
collagen and Berry flavored greens with
almond milk and shake it up this is one
of my go-to easy pre-workout meals that

it has been a beautiful morning so far I
just got to the gym and I'm about to go
into a training session with my personal
trainer Taylor I'm honestly feeling
really good this morning I'm definitely
a little tired like I kind of want to
have another cup of coffee right now but
it was really sweet to spend time with
Jesus this morning like I could have
just sat there for literal hours with
him even when I wake up early and I'm
like not wanting to get out of bed when
I know that I get to have that time with
the father it just makes it all the more
worth it and like after I'm done
spending time with it I'm like dang I'm
so glad that I woke up early so that I
could have time with him now that we are
done spending time with Jesus we can get
our workout in I don't know what my
trainer has for our session today but
she usually kicks my behind in the best
way father God please give me the
strength to do this workout I literally
need you God to do this workout I cannot
do this workout without you be strong
for me where I am weak in Jesus name
amen y'all I need to pray before my
workouts like every single

workout today I am FaceTiming my trainer
Taylor and she is going to tell me
everything I need to do for my workout
it really is nice having a trainer who
can help with providing a workout plan
the same thing goes with reading the
Bible if you don't have a plan you plan
to fail so even in your work workouts it
is good to make a plan before even
starting your workout I started out with
a 10-minute walk on the treadmill then I
did a total of eight exercises with
three sets of each a lot of y'all ask
what I do in my workout split in my
workout split typically consists of two
Pilates days one strength training day
one at home workout one boot camp
workout class and along with that I'll
go on around four runs throughout the
week because my body responds really
well to cardio I also make sure to have
a day purely for rest working out has
become a staple to my morning routine
and really helps me to feel my best and
live out God's calling for my
life okay so we are back from our
workout and I am feeling very challenged
I have so many endorphins right now I
definitely got a good sweat in with
Taylor it was a good challenge this
morning and sometimes it is good to
challenge yourself in the morning
because it makes like you ready to face
the day because you've already done
something difficult in the morning
versus if you just like roll out of bed
I used to be someone who would roll out
of bed who wouldn't get workouts done in
the morning I wouldn't spend time with
Jesus in the morning and ever since
starting this routine a couple of years
ago it has just changed my actual days
like the days are set up for Success
because of how I spend my morning so
right now I'm feeling good I'm feeling
charged that definitely was really hard
and I wanted to give up several times
but the lord gave me strength so many of
y'all might be intimidated by the gym
you might not want to go in and lift
weights like I just did but I just want
to encourage you whatever you can do to
move your body is what I want you to do
even if it is a 20 minute walk where you
just talk to God that is still moving
your body that is still you growing in
your walk with the Lord in more ways
than one and so I just want to encourage
you like whether it's Pilates whether
it's is just getting a good stretch in
for 15 to 30 minutes put into your daily
Rhythm a type of movement that is going
to give you endorphins it is going to
honor your body as a temple of the Holy
Spirit just got to make yourself start
somewhere you got to discipline yourself
you're not going to enjoy it at first
maybe over time you're going to look
forward to moving your body by the way
that it makes you feel by the endorphins
that you feel after by the way that you
have energy throughout the day like
you're going to associate working out
with positive feeling ings if right now
you're just like associating working out
with like all negative I hate it I just
want to give up start moving your body
even if you do not feel like it because
eventually your body is going to get
used to moving and you're actually going
to enjoy moving your body every day
right now we are going to go home to
make a post-workout breakfast I am super
excited to share with you guys this
recipe because I've just been loving it
so much recently and I just hope that
this part of the morning routine is
motivating you to move your body because
you are going to thank yourself when you
allow yourself to not only get stronger
spiritually but also physically come on
somebody now is the time to fuel our
body with a healthy breakfast I'll be
honest I didn't always love to cook over
the years I have learned to love cooking
and actually look forward to the healthy
meals I make and I found ones that are
quick easy and actually taste good and
instead of reaching for sugary breakfast
in the morning that will boost our blood
sugar you want to make sure that we're
making meals to help our bodies run well
throughout the day incorporating a good
protein carb healthy fat and fiber
Today's Breakfast is a new favorite
recipe of mine that I like to call
protein oat pudding to make this I just
put peanut butter protein powder
chocolate greens powder oats and water
in a bowl and mix it up to create this
pudding mixture then I top with peanut
butter fresh fruit yogurt granola and
honey you will fall in love with this
meal and it also won't leave you with a
crash after fueling our bodies it is
time to get ready for the day I went
through a few pieces of my hair with my
DIYs and air wrap I said hello to my
sister and roommate Ally who I am living
with right now we're living in an Airbnb
currently because we are still waiting
for God to lead us to our home in
California but the journey has been so
fun today I decided to wear this cute
white skirt with this black top with
black flipflops it's giving yo Chic I
always feel my best when I have a cute
outfit on and life is too short to not
put effort into what you wear something
that I love doing after I get ready for
the day is go to a coffee shop and walk
to that coffee shop as I'm walking to
the coffee shop I like to pray I like to
get some steps in and I like to talk to
my heavenly Father prayer walks have
been part of my daily routine for like
years now but I've been really loving it
lately doing them in the morning
especially at the beginning of my day
just as I'm walking to this coffee shop
I'm getting worked in at this coffee
shop but as I'm walking just being like
all right Lord here's what I'm worried
about for the day here's what I'm
struggling with God I thank you for this
I thank you for this I praise you for
this just like talking to him at the
start of my day and letting him be the
focus of my entire day before the day
even starts also if I have anything
that's difficult like for work or
anything I will just ask the Lord for
help on navigating that thing and just
that he would give me the strength to do
that difficult work task I just talk to
him like he was walking with me if you
want to start incorporating prayer walks
into your routine I just recommend
whether you're walking to class whether
you're walking to a coffee shop to get
some work done or whether you're just
walking your dog in the morning invite
the Lord into that time lift up any
concerns or anything that's stressing
you out up to him thank him for things
raise him for things God wants to be a
part of every single thing that we do
not just like church or not just like
worship like he wants everything that we
do to be worshiped to him he wants us to
invite him into every single thing and
every single moment of our day and so
even when you're walking from place to
place like invite the Lord into that and
talk to God okay he wants to talk to you
he's already near to you he's already
waiting for you to turn to him I the
type of person who physically cannot
work at home and it's nice because with
my job I can really work from wherever I
love going to coffee shops to get my
work done today I had some meetings to
do and was able to take them from this
cute new coffee shop I found in Los
Angeles the coffee is amazing and it's
also such a good vibe for getting work
