Transcripts
hello guys crisp here and welcome back
to another video it is one of my friends
i'm gonna be testing a laptop that i
don't have here with me this one well
not this one but that one is the asus
vivobook 15.6
m513ua slash
r75bhd ss1 i definitely wasn't reading
that yeah it's it's all on top of my
mind right no
so unfortunately i'm not gonna be making
the usual live gameplay uh with
reactions and stuff like that because i
only had a few hours with this laptop
that's why i don't have it here with me
anymore but hey let's go over the specs
real quick it has a ryzen 7 5700u with
vega 8 integrated graphics 16 gigabytes
of ram dual channel 8 on board and 8
added with an sodium the screen is
actually really nice it's 1080p oled it
goes up to 600 nits of brightness it
covers a hundred percent of the dc ip3
caller space and it's vez certified for
hdr and everything else you know it's a
really nice monitor but i noticed a
little bit of chromatic aberration
around the contrast the edges it also
came with a 512 gigabyte ssd m.2 nvme
pci express 3.0 it also has plenty of
ports as you can see and i'm really
surprised to see a full-on hdmi port in
a laptop this thin they could actually
fit it in but enough with that we're all
here to see how this thing does in
gaming particularly the 5700u so let's
get to it shall we okay and first up
we're playing csgo at 1080p lowest
settings here boost player contrast is
enabled and multi-core rendering of
course and again guys i am not really
playing the game in real time right now
we're just commenting over it and seeing
what's happening it's actually good
because now i can see the temperatures
properly in real time um but well i i'm
not gonna have those reactions because
i'm not actually playing the game of
course so anyways you can see that the
ryzen 7 is running at around four
gigahertz with some fluctuation there is
actually a 1.8 gigahertz base clock cpu
so it's pretty weak in that regard but
as the name says it's a 5700
u and the u at the end stands for low
power and and of course it is on a slim
and light laptop on ultrabook you could
say so yes it consumes very little power
and it runs kind of hot actually
um 82 degrees celsius there in cs go and
it's not really fully maxed out you know
it's only utilizing 20 of it vram usage
well it's maxed out but again it's using
ram as vram if it needs to so it's not
stuttery whatsoever here and you can
actually have a competitive experience
in cs go which is great 108 fps on
average and 641 lows and look at that we
finished second place with four points
apart from the first guy so well it's
actually a really good result next is
cyber bug 2077 at 720p using the high
textures because i couldn't really lower
them too low as you can see i'm trying
to apply it and it just doesn't do
anything everything else is set to the
lowest quality settings and fsr is on
quality and as you can see this game is
super intensive you probably know that
cyberbug is just it's cyberbug it's it's
super super super demanding and with a
u-chip like this one well you can't
really play the game very well with the
5700g that we tested previously here in
the channel it actually could handle
cyberpunk pretty well at 720p like ultra
quality fsr low settings pretty much
always above 30fps with slight drops
here and there but it wasn't as stuttery
as this for sure and it was a much more
enjoyable experience unfortunately if
you want to play cyberpunk on the go
with a thin and light laptop with these
specs well you kind of can't really it's
not enjoyable it's that there's too much
it drops into the lower 20s if you lower
fsr from quality it will look even worse
it already looks pretty bad to me yeah
it's just not recommended
to play these very intensive titles in a
laptop chip like this one and not to say
that the 5700u is bad because eight
cores in 16 threads is actually really
amazing on a chip with this low power
all right back to a game that actually
runs really well in these kinds of
systems so it's it's loaded to 1080p
using like medium settings there with
100 resolution scale direct x11 api this
is probably going to be a buttery smooth
experience i i recorded this previously
already but i totally don't remember
what kind of fps we got at the time so
this is kind of new to me as well these
days at least i remember when i made
this video temperatures in my room were
about in the lower 20s
if i was playing this game right now on
this system
with temperatures of like close to 30
degrees i think
the temps would be in the 90s which is a
little bit concerning but within spec
actually they say that the tj maxx is
105 degrees on this cpu so
well yeah i i guess it's it's okay but
it's a little bit too high for my taste
anyways we saw here a bit of a fight
which was intensive of course and it
didn't really drop all that much did it
we also got a bit of another fight here
now dropping into the 50s
it's actually good and if you look the
the clock speed of the cpu is actually
lower than in cs go i didn't really see
it in cyber bug but yeah
it's
it could be a little bit better actually
i don't know okay we got another fight
breaking out right now
yes and
it is dropping into the 50s with all of
the effects but it's not like an old gpu
playing this game where it struggles a
lot with some of the effects this is
consistent
it's a little bit stuttery you could see
there in the frame time graph there was
something weird there some spikes it's
not too bad and it's almost 69 fps
average so
that's actually pretty nice isn't it
okay eldon ring at 800 by 600 res using
low settings and high anti-aliasing aaa
in this game only hits your fps by 0.5
fps so it doesn't make a difference
basically and you can see that this is
still not low enough for us to achieve
the 60 fps cap of this game
but it is kind of playable unfortunately
alden ring stutters a lot it's a problem
in the pc version if you play for a long
time it will load in some things and it
will become better over time but all of
the pcs at this moment at least stutter
in elden ring especially for the first
few minutes so
again nothing
really that you can do about it's not
really the cpu's fault or the gpu's
fault here it's just the game's fault
and i guess it is playable i actually
remember trying it at 720p and not
seeing very good results oh actually i
set it to 720p a little bit later that's
great
and yeah as you can see right away it
drops into the 20s so it's not very
stable and i don't really recommend it
but if you are one of those people that
like to play games at 25 fps locked for
example which there are a lot of people
playing at 25 fps and in a game like
this if you had some motion blur and
play with the controller it could be
okay
well
uh you you should be able to play this
game still at 720p it looks a little bit
better than 800x600 a heck of a lot
better actually
but it does drop into the mid 20s very
often and it's tuttering a bit more also
temperatures in this game are way better
than they were in the other ones and the
jeep utilization is also higher so the
cpu might not be
needing as much power maybe overall if
you want to play this game
it's playable but i think
you'd have a much better experience with
the proper gaming pc
so eldon ring 800x600
i don't like it too much and now it's
gta5 let's see our beautiful jack we're
playing at 1080p using high settings
basically with a few things on normal
and i also disabled tessellation
advanced graphics are of course
off as usual those are super intensive
and honestly guys i'm seeing this now i
didn't remember how well this did
and i thought this was going to be
better i think in jack's hill it's
actually gonna drop a little bit guys
temperatures are okay i guess like 80
degrees celsius is all right for a chip
like this one it's actually a good
temperature let me know in the comments
if you guys have this cpu and what
temperatures you're seeing um of course
that will vary with the cooling system
that the laptop has another crash there
okay i completely didn't care at all
about trying not to crash into people in
this one or was i trying actually i
think i was trying right
because yeah it looks like i wasn't
trying but honestly i always try not to
hit people
i
i definitely wasn't trying here
one percent lows are now at 30 fps which
is not bad 39 on average this is
playable and it looks really good
especially on an oled monitor and here
we go now into the grass
did it drop got into the 20s maybe 29
for a second honestly it's better than i
expected around here and there is jack
is that jack yes it's jax hello jack
how's it going love you buddy although
this is a recording still love you he
knows he knows it's dropping now
26
not terrible as long as you stay away
from bushes it's gonna be fine also if
you lower the grass quality too low or
normal actually it it won't drop from 30
fps and we did kill bob there which is
amazing of course next is pub g i chose
1080p res very low settings
not sure if this is a good idea so i
chose to drop in pochenke of course if
we're playing erengel we gotta drop in
the best city ever and i can notice that
it's quite stuttery the frame time is
all over the place a little bit but
maybe that's when we are dropping
because we're actually dropping with a
lot of people in this one let's grab
this weapon
i'm just commenting here like i would be
commenting if i was playing the game i
don't really know why but again i'm not
playing the game okay just watching me
playing the game which is basically the
same thing because i don't remember oh
my god that was a massive stutter there
when i went into the menu yes i don't
remember what happened so uh yeah was i
trying to put on the eight times scope
because you can't do that dumb craze
page always probably forgot about that
when i was playing this one not too bad
considering that we are looking at the
entire city of pochinki and although
we're not seeing all of the buildings it
is still rendering them behind the other
buildings so it's still intensive
and it's 1080p it's actually quite nice
that you can play pubg
and get 30 fps of course if you throw a
smoke by the way you won't be getting 30
fps it will drop massively probably into
the teens we have massive stutter there
by the way but it's not horrible i
actually played a lot of pope g with
around these fps on average back in the
days when the game was awfully optimized
so it's okay but it's so stuttery though
next is valorent at 1080p res using low
settings apparently
oh my god look at that ryzen 7
temperature guys 91 degrees also the gpu
clock speeds are probably the lowest
that we've seen so far here in valron
since the game is not
gpu intensive whatsoever at the low
settings it doesn't need to work as hard
on the gpu side of things of course and
it can just
pull itself down a little bit going down
to like 200 megahertz at times and still
not being fully utilized you know even
at those clock speeds uh the cpu on the
other hand is boosting up to four
gigahertz which is great to give us more
fps in this game so yeah you don't
really need to overclock anything or
play around with ryzen master for
example with a laptop like this because
it will um allocate the the power
basically to what
it knows that it's best so invalid it
allocates more power to the cpu than the
gpu because well it's a really really
light title on the graphics card oh and
look at that we actually won this
that was nice crisp from the past see
guys you don't really need very high end
specs to play valrant with 69 one
percent lows and i pointed it out i am
so proud of my younger self
okay next i played red dead redemption 2
at 720p using the lowest settings taa is
actually set to high because it kept
applying the high setting there instead
of low and oh i thought it was going to
be a little bit better it's in the 20s
more often than not right
yeah guys
i don't like this so the gpu usage is
not maxed out in this game for some
reason
uh the cpu clock speed is is high
gpu clock speed is also as it should be
at 1900 megahertz fluctuating a little
bit sometimes
i guess it's just another power
limitation here in red dead too oh now
the gpu is actually at 99 percent usage
okay and we're getting 30s now
all right something was maybe still
loading i'm not sure like we were seeing
the gpu usage
in the 80s 80 to 90 percent range right
but now it's at full utilization it
still drops from 30 even at 98 percent
there but it's not too bad i could live
with this i would probably not buy the
game
uh with specs like these but if you must
play reddit too you can also drop the
resolution from this use some resolution
scale as well if you need to
um and it will look like crap yes but it
will be a little bit more playable as
well and 30 fps in a game like this is
okay it's not terrible i think even like
25 might be okay if you lock it to that
and it won't ever drop from 25 here in
red dead 2 so that's great as well
the thing with 25 fps is that you really
got to get used to it and if you go play
another game in between of your red dead
225 fps session you will get back to it
and it won't feel good whatsoever oh
look at that it went back to 80 gpu
usage now
hmm
very interesting
is it like v-sync or something no v-sync
was turned off never mind guys i don't
know what it is
maybe driver related
maybe temperature or it's probably power
usage related actually but hey it's it's
not the worst thing in the world way
better than something like a gt710 so
there's that
moving on to stutter knight at 1080p low
settings with performance mode enabled
down there you can actually reach 100
fps at times but we're not in an
intensive area and it's stuttering quite
a bit one percent lows are
fairly low there at 33 for now there's a
guy here oh look at that is the butt
corrosion 86. it's a little bit too hot
but for a laptop 85 degrees is actually
normal you could say especially for
gaming laptops but this isn't really a
gaming laptop of course we got another
kill there which is great
uh gpu usage again is not maxed out in
this one
feels quite stuttery from what i'm
seeing and finally the last one that i
found
super shielded up this guy what the hell
how many shields did they have oh it was
that mode where you actually have
another shield on top of your shields
okay
anyways it's 88 fps average 25 one
percent loss and for the final game we
got call of duty warzone lowest settings
at 720p res come on chris show them the
rest go go go no not that the res thank
you 720p as you can see there it's in
the 30s while dropping here this is nice
what i did
parachuting
over the mountain and just dropping down
yeah we can see a lot of
things on screen and it's not dropping
from 30fps it's also not stuttering as
much as stutter night so that's amazing
as well
and yeah although one percent lows are
below 30 it still didn't really drop
from 30. i remember that this was a
pretty okay experience you can have fun
in warzone with a pc like this one it's
great actually for such a low power cpu
to be able to play warzone
that's that's actually incredible these
days
um and yeah this pc actually costs i
think 650 euros
but the person that i recommended it to
wasn't really looking for a gaming pc
obviously
i actually recommended this because cpu
power wise
it's pretty nice eight cars 16 threads
should be relevant for a long time for
what she wants to do browse the web and
stuff maybe
do some excel work and stuff like that i
thought that that was a window
and above everything else she wanted a
pc to watch movies on so that oled
screen will be great for that as well as
battery life and the form factor is also
pretty nice in my opinion thin and light
not the lightest obviously but for the
price i think it was a decent little pc
and if on top of all of that it can also
play a little bit of war zone a little
bit of like elden ring and stuff like
that gta 5 as well
uh cs go valerian 32 yeah a lot of games
will be playable here with these specs
and surprisingly warzone is actually
performing better than than i expected
guys i mean 45 fps average in this game
is not easy to achieve especially with
integrated graphics so with that said i
think we actually talked a little bit
about the conclusion it's decent for
esports titles or older titles not great
for competitive play because it stutters
a little bit it's just not really that
high refresh rate but you can have fun
in a lot of titles and especially here
in warzone i did not expect it to do
this well honestly so at the discounted
price of 650 euros you can put together
a better desktop you can even find some
proper gaming laptops at those prices
with like gtx 1650s which will blow this
thing away even if the cpus on those
systems are only like quad cores uh like
an i5 11 300 age or something like that
or 10 300 h those will still outperform
this one in gaming because they have
stronger single core performance and
higher frequencies but if you already
have a 5700 eu system
you can actually play some things as you
could see them so hope this video was
helpful to you thank you very much for
watching this
sunday video ish it's a little bit
different
uh but i hope you enjoyed it don't
forget to like and subscribe if you
haven't already catch you guys the next
one very soon love you all bye-bye
