The new product is KZ DQ6. DQ6 is unique, because this item has THREE Dynamic Driver

Usually KZ products are using hybrid driver, which are Dynamic Driver and Balance Armature

But this one is using Dynamic Driver all three of them

Unboxing and reviewing KZ is always exciting, KZ is people's favourite

The new varian or series is DQ6

The interesting part is, as I already told you about, it has three Dynamic Driver

Let's see the specification

Weight : 30gr

Using 3.5mm jack

2 Pin 0.75mm, both detachable

Looks like type C

Frequency range : 20-4000Hz, High Rest

Impedance : 24 Om

Sensitivity : 112dB/mW

Driver size : one is 10mm, and the other two are 2 x 6mm

I'm not sure whether the 6mm is for mid and high or for adding the low freq. But the 10mm is for the low frequency

These should be Medium size, which is the same size as the tips installed on the IEM

But these tips have different shape. Like, slighty elongated shape

Usually this slighty elongated shape will create a difference tuning

I'm going to install the cable to the unit

Let's check the right and left cable, you can see the sign from each cable

Like this one, it has a "L" letter and it's facing out

Now lets install the left buds

Now, the jack is L shape

Made from gold plated, 4 pole for mic

With transparent housing

It has neat braided cable here, with silver color

It has Y splitter

Here we can see small embossed KZ logo

It has one button for mic

And over ear shape

With silver face plat, and here we can see small hole, like for air hole

Its like a filter

On the plat, you can see KZ logo

Here, you can see that the unit has a fin. A fin is used to gripping to the ear so that it doesn't come off easily

It's the same like KZ used on ZSX Terminator

It should be quite a comfortable fitting on the ear..

and sealed the ear quite tightly

Now for the tips

These tips are a good quality

Since I've tried a lot of KZ product

So I can see that DQ6 tips are different from other product

These tips are look like orthophones, it feels soft and flexibel

While other KZ products usually feels hard

With this soft form, these tips should make a difference tuning

As for the filter, this part looks so neat, with silver color

So far DQ6 looks good, neat and clean

With the transparent shell, we can see inside this item

Look at this yellow part, it is the 10mm Dynamic Driver

And the two 6mm Dynamic Driver are in this part, as you can see, here are the two of them

So the composition is, the big (DD) is on the front, and the other two placed inside

The tips nozzle is shorter, so when we install it to the IEM, it goes deeper

It has a flat surface

Personally i like this design

For me, I give 8.5 for the design

The over ear cable also neatly sleeve

Hi Music Lovers, I'm gonna share my experience after trying the sound and the fitting

As for the fitting, surprisingly, it's very comfortable

If you know ZSX, which is has 6 driver in each unit

Even it still feels comfortable to wear, but it feels quite bulky and big when you wear it

Now, this item (DQ6) is smaller, so it feel more fit and sealed in my ear

If you ever try or have CIEM (Costum In Ear Monitor), like Avara,

This item gives the same comfort for the ear

Maybe because the identation fit the ear contours

..at least for my ear's contours

So personally, i feel very comfy and sealed wearing this item

For the sound signature

The sound direction is more likely to U shape

Because the mid (freq) sounds a little backward

As for the bass, the effect from three Dynamic Driver with 10mm and two 6mm size..

make the bass sound bigger and deeper

but not too fast

So for the bass, the speed is just okay

If you're looking for something to listen to rock music, (DQ6) maybe just okay

As for the treble

Even with three Dynamic Driver, the treble sound is quite extend

Not too big, nor sharp. The treble sound is quite good

So for the treble sound, it can be tolerated for both people who like or not too like the treble sound

For an item in 300.000 IDR price range, in my opinion it (DQ6) has a good clarity and detail

Now, the soundstage

This soundstage has a good positioning

I was quite surpised by how precised the instrument sound placement

I feel the imaging is quite wide and broad

But I have to underline about its black background, for..

some DAP or source which has noise, (DQ6) can't refine the sound

But anyway, always try by your own and believe your ear
