Amazon organically ranking means and why
it's so
important you can see here I have
searched with the keyword vitamin d3500
IU and Amazon is showing uh 48 listing
here and there could be more because in
the branders you can see uh three types
of items so I can I can select 50 of the
items showing in the first BCE so there
are very few chance any buyer will visit
P two or three to purchase their desire
item because most of the cases among
this 50 they will able to purchase it
now uh according to stattic this around
like 70 to 90% of the sales happens on
Amazon from the first base so it's very
important to show your item in the page
one and if I talk about the organic rank
you can see this is I sponsor brand ads
these are also sponsor product ads and
then these are the organically ranked
item and if I scroll down you can see
again sponsor products again sponsored
products and then some organically rank
then again uh video and like sponsored
productes and then other organically R
item so you can see there are a very few
places where you can show your item
organically and most of them is the
sponsor and because of that reason
sponsored like competition is very high
now and we need to build a higher amount
CPC to get in the fast Bas so it's very
important for you to be in organically
in phas one so that you can get some uh
sales at uh lower
cost and how does Amazon organic rank
work so if I show you here you can see
this natur made this brand item is the
number one organically ranked for this
particular keyword and you can see here
below they are in the best seller like
they have 150k t and ratings 50k items
sold in past month so here you can see
they are selling 20K in last month but
they are selling 50k in the last month
but even after that they are in number
second inorganically it's because after
searching by this keyword most of the
buyers click this item and purchase this
item and that's why they are number one
organically and secondly they click this
item and purchase this item that's why
um they are in number second and this
way they're in third they're in fourth
then in fifth and then in Sixth and you
can see here they have 4K sales but even
after that organically they are in sixth
position is because after searching by
this keyword and uh like the ratio of
the buyer clicking this item and
purchasing it uh based on that uh
organically they are in sixth position
now let me show you another uh example
here I searched with the keyword Halal
vitamin D and you can see uh here these
item it's no vitamins they are uh only
sold around 700 units but organically
they're number one and if I scroll down
you can see they are number two even
after they sold only 100 units and they
are in number like four even after they
sold only 50 units but you can see the
same listing they sold 50k in past month
but organically they are in number Fifth
and another one of their item is sixth
so it's because after click like after
searching with the keyword Halal vitamin
D most of the cases buyer clicked these
item and purchase these item that's why
for this particular keyword these item
have the highest sale amount so this way
Amazon
organically ranked for this item uh
based on their U CTR CVR so whenever you
want to rank organically for your
keywords you need to make sure you have
a good CTR and CV so you can rank uh far
easily in the Amazon now let me show you
the road map that you can follow to rank
your item on Amazon organically in the
top of the search result so uh I'm going
to show you uh this brand item like
nature wise so as I talked about earlier
the main fact the main metrix amazoni
follow is the CTR and CVR so to have a
good CTR you need to have a uh like very
good main image and for C you need to
have a optimized listing and a
competitive pricing so here you can see
uh these item uh they have this uh title
it's fully optimized after right after
the like the brand name they have this
most important keyword they have like uh
organically if you want any keyword you
want to rank faster this is the main way
you can uh Rank and after having a good
title you need to have a good images so
here you can see they have these images
and on that packaging you can see they
have the vitamin D3 written here so it's
also very important and and it will
extend out their listing from other
competitor so if I show you here um yes
so you can see all of these competitor
they are showing the vitamin D3 in the
packaging and it's far more easy uh to
read it even without clicking the main
image but definitely they have some more
rooms to improve because if I show you
here uh in this page you can see they
have the soft gel and in their main
image they showing their like soft gel
in the main image so it's far more
easier uh because sometime you may want
to purchase a capsule and uh so that if
you show this um in the main image it
will be easier to get the clicks and
right after it you can see they are
selling games so whenever anyone want
games instead of clicking in this item
they will directly click on uh this
product so it's uh a option they can
improve here they can add some uh like
they have yeah they are soft gel Min
Soft gel so definitely they can add the
soft gel in their main image so it will
help them to get more click frequently
and here you can see the price graph and
you can see sometime they increase and
decrease the prices uh so normally
whenever you decrease the price it help
you to get more
conversion and scroll down in I can see
they have the a good brand history with
showcasing all of their items and later
on I can see the A+ content
here so you can see all these things
they have fully optimized uh I can see
also the all
text and you can see they have yeah um
in their images they have the all text
but it's not uh fully optimized because
we can use uh a more text uh as all
textt keyword here
so definitely there's another room to
improve so to optimize your listing you
need to have a fully uh keyword friendly
and readable title and a good main image
you need to focus mostly on the main
image and then the other image also
about the features about the like
ingredients and then uh proper five
bullet points brand history and A+
content with proper all text and also
there are some option you can add in the
back end so let me show you those so
your listing back end when you uh go to
the product details if you scroll down
you will see here the generic keyword
option so this is also known as the like
uh SAR backend sarem and also you will
have uh like product description option
here so right now we can add more and
more product description and it does
also help in ranking because uh you can
add text and keywords because on Amazon
they already said it any text they can
uh any text we can put on Amazon listing
everything will be uh like indexed
because if I show you the Amazon A+
content all the text we are putting here
uh this everything will be indexed here
so definitely adding this in the backet
will also help you to utilize those
space to rank for the keywords more
easily and you need to make sure the
pricing uh because pricing needs to be
more competitive otherwise uh there will
be no chance you will get the conversion
even if you have the optimized listing
you are getting the good CTR but if you
don't have the CVR then uh you will not
be able to get ranked so after
completing the listing optimization you
now have a good main image and the
competitive pricing now you need to have
a good keyword list that you want to
rank organically so to find the keywords
there are couple of options we have on
Amazon so let me describe some of the
options the most common option right now
and the best way is the SAR query
performance report now if I go to the
brand analytics and you can see here the
SAR query uh performance and the top of
uh like top Search terms now uh I'm
going to show you from the top SARS uh U
and it will be more or less similar as
your squ performance report because on
squ performance report you can select
your Asin and they will show you the
search STS and the like uh your
impression funnel your clicks and act to
cards and selling everything so from
there you can pick the keywords you are
like getting less traffic and you can
focus on the organic
ranking but I am going to show you here
because uh if you are not organically
ranked you need to know who are ranking
currently and whom you are competing
with right now so this will give you a
extra benefit uh to track your
competitor and know their moves so for
example I want to rank for like this
keyword vitamin D3 and now if I scroll
down you can see for vitamin D3 this
keyword uh this is the search frequency
and the lowest is the highest search vol
volume and then you can see who are the
top three brand they are ranking for
this keyword currently and right now you
can see the natur made nature wise and
natur's Bounty and you can see these AC
number and their titles and also you can
see the clicks here how many clicks here
they are getting and how many
conversions here they are getting and
then if
I move side you can see the second is
the naturoid the listing we are
currently uh talking about and you can
see they are having this amount of Click
Share and these amount of conversion
share and the last one they are getting
these amount of Click Share and
conversion s so you can see more or less
uh it's uh depend on the click and
conversion share and the first person
who have the highest conversion and
Click Share they are in the organically
number one and based on that second and
third and fourth these way Amazon are
currently giving the organic
so from here you can see uh check the
keyword and another way is the helium 10
so for example uh this is my uh keyword
that I want to Target and these are the
like top three competitors so what I can
do I can copy their Asin and on helium
10 cereb bro I can paste their as number
so you can see these three competitors
as I'm going to paste here
and now if I click on get keywords then
helium 10 will give me uh bunch of
keywords that are currently there
ranking in number one and from there I
can uh sort by the SAR volume so for
example if uh the keyword search volume
is like more than 2,000 then I will
Target them to be a organic rank so here
after putting all these three competitor
and I can see now helium 10 give me
12,000 keywords and you can see a lots
of lots of keywords
uh that related with these three
competitors and you can see uh total
Amazon sege volume is 7 million so right
now what I can do I can add some
filteration here so let me add at least
I need 100 S volume though it's very low
but just to give you an idea and uh I
can hit apply let me see how many
keywords right now we have okay so right
now you can see we have 6,000 so half of
the keywords being eliminated because we
don't also need those keywords now let
me sort by a Sarge
volume and you can see there are lots of
lots of keywords with very high search
volume but uh there will be many
keywords that are not relevant like for
example I am uh focusing on vitamin D
but they have like calcium supplement
vitamin E and you can also see here our
competitors organic Rank and sponsor
Rank and you can see they are also not
organically or like sponsor ads they're
not running for those uh keywords also
so let me put some more filter here so
if I show filter and what I need uh is
the number 1 to 50 organically rank
keywords only because those are the
keywords that giving the most sales for
these uh three competitors and if I
apply the filter let me see what are the
keywords now I can get so wow only
around 800 QR so these are the most
important keyword and uh like high uh
selling keywords for for these items
what I can guess and you can see most of
them now you will get a relevant with
your item so from this uh list of
keyword now you can uh check the sarge
volume and then uh keyword relevancy
with your item and you can uh prepare a
keyword bank for your like most
important keywords now here I did some
filteration that's why the number of
keyword will be lower but definitely you
can uh check without any filteration and
keyword U uh that you want to Target but
what I suggest no need to make like more
than 50 keywords because not that many
keywords you need to put on ads to get
the organic rank because if you are
targeting keywords like uh vitamin D
that will also help you to like some
other keywords like vitamin D vitamin D3
vitamin D vitamin uh so these are also
the keywords they that can be
automatically ranked so only pick the
primary keywords that you want to focus
mostly so after having all these
keywords ready now you need to work on
your sponsor ads so if I show you here
exact match campaign so what will be
your campaign strategy so from my
experience what I saw for any keywords
if you are running uh exact much
campaign and one campaign with one
keyword that gives you the best results
so if I show you whenever you go to your
uh campaign creation Tab and you need to
create the sponsor product campaign and
after click on start uh now you need to
uh like give a add group name normally I
suggest to give the keyword that you
want to Target so for example if I'm
going to Target uh this keyword
uh in that
case uh I will put this as my ADD group
name then I'm going to add this uh like
item then I'm going to hit manual
targeting keyword targeting enter
keyword and I will do exact match and I
will add the keyword here now you can
see they have the suggested keyword is
uh $2 bit uh so let me
put me put dollar
two and as you are biding very high you
need to also uh put a high amount of
budget so for now I will keep the
dynamic up and down because as I want to
show my item frequently on the top of
the page so that's why up and down Bing
strategy will help you the best and now
you can put your campaign name and then
you can put budget like $200 per day so
this way if you have like five keywords
that you want to uh like Target to be on
the top on organically then you can uh
create five of this campaign like this
way and then you can uh run this
campaign until you get the organic Rank
and I suggest uh you go slow because it
will cost you a lots of budget so uh
maximum I would suggest you to start
with uh 3 to five then you can move into
like other keywords and for the other
keywords you can even run the broad
campaign as usual but for the ranking
keywords you need to have the separate
campaign and separate budget for those
keywords and you need to always make
sure your items are showing the ads in
the top of the search let me show you
here uh like here you can see this is
the brand ads after the brandeds this is
the sponsor product campaign and you
need to make sure your item are showing
here within this uh four sponsor spot
otherwise uh you will not get that much
of Click uh and then like the Click
Share will go down and you will not be
able to improve your organic Rank and
when you will started to see your
organically rank items are showing here
in this area like within top uh six then
you can uh focus on slowing down the
airs but whenever you will see your item
already showing organically here even
after that for 4 weeks you need to show
your ad in the top search after 4 weeks
when you see for 4 weeks you organically
ranking here then you can slow down your
Amazon advertising cost and then you can
show your item like middle of the page
like so here you can see some sponsored
spot so you can then um show your item
hair and organically you can steal up in
the hair so you can have uh more sales
at lower cost now what happen if you are
still running the airs you doing
everything but even after that your
items are not organically coming up and
you are spending a lots of your budget
for those uh ranking keyers now the
first thing you need to do immediately
you need to uh reduce the Amazon ad
spend and then you need to find out why
you are not getting the organic rank now
as I told you earlier this is the main
thing is the CTR and CV so definitely
you may found that your CTR and CV may
be low so from your uh like Business
Report uh here you can see uh for the
child item you can see the sessions and
you can see the unit session percentage
and this is your conversion rate or in
overall account and if you see um uh
like previously you have uh like uh 20%
conversion rate but now it's 19% then
definitely is the conversion rate issue
and otherwise you can go to your
campaign manager and you can see if your
CTR is good for that particular keyword
or not if your CTR is low and your
conversion is low then definitely this
is the case and then you need to work on
how you can improve the CTR and CVR and
CTR and CVR mostly depends on Main image
and the pricing or like other uh
optimization of your listing and if you
are not sure in which place you want to
uh work on to improve the C and C you
can do a testing for your um listing
like for main image or the titles even
for the Amazon A+ content and also you
can play with your uh pricing a bit
because you can lower the price and then
if you see your item are getting lots of
sales now and it help your organic rank
going up then you can keep the price low
for a moment and then slowly step by
step you can again increase it and also
improving CTR you can add some text in
your like main image like the keyword
you want to focus so for example I show
you the vitamin D3 uh like 5,000 IOU so
in your listing page you need to focus
that vitamin D3 500 IU so if you can
focus this keyword in your main then it
it can also help you to improve the
sales now if you have a road map to
follow to get your products on the top
of the SAR results so you can start your
journey now remember this is a
continuous process and with effort and
