"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."
This famous quote of the American physicist Julius Robert Oppenheimer
is actually the 32nd verse of the 11th chapter of Bhagavad Gita.
I have now become Kaal, who is the destroyer of all three worlds.
It is said that Oppenheimer was very much influenced by Bhagavad Gita.
A book which is a mystery even for scientists.
You will be surprised every time you read it.
Arjun is still listening to Bhagavad Gita on the land of Kurukshetra.
The war of Mahabharata has ended thousands of years ago
at the end of Dwapar Yuga.
But if you are asked if the war of Mahabharata is still going on, then?
In 1957 when physicist Hugh Everett
first talked about alternate realities and multiple universes,
from then on the theories of multiverse started boosting in the world of science.
But in some chapters of Bhagavad Gita, this has been discussed before.
"This whole world and all the universes that reside in it
is a small part of my existence."
This can be understood from the verse said in the 10th chapter of Bhagavad Gita
that there are many universes apart from our universe
which are a part of Shri Krishna.
In the 11th chapter of Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna told Arjun
that the whole universe is made of him.
Shri Krishna showed him his universal form when Arjun prayed.
He had many heads, many arms and different weapons in his hands.
His universal form was made of many colors and shapes
and Arjun started seeing it in every direction.
And he started seeing many universes like our universe in Shri Krishna's body.
And then Arjun realized that the Shri Krishna whom he considers as his friend
is actually the creator of the whole universe.
But if all the universes are made of Shri Krishna,
then why are they all moving in different times?
According to the 8th chapter of Bhagavad Gita, the
time cycle of our universe runs according to Brahma.
It is said in Bhagavad Purana that there is a different Brahmlok in every universe
and there is a different Brahma who maintains the time cycle of his universe
and all these time cycles are separate from each other.
If you want to know more about the multiverse mentioned in Bhagavad Purana,
then you can watch this video of ours.
According to the Vedas, Brahma is considered the creator of the universe.
But according to the Brahma Samhita, there is a supreme energy above Brahma
which is Shri Krishna, who is considered the ultimate creator.
"I have lived here before."
In the 1930s, a 4-year-old girl, Shanti Devi
started talking to her family about strange things.
She started telling them about her previous birth,
where she lived, who her husband was, and why she died.
Shanti Devi is still considered an interesting case of rebirth.
In the past, we have made a video on the story of
Shanti Devi and her rebirth, which you can watch.
Rebirth or reincarnation is a topic that
sounds like a story of an interesting movie.
But this topic is still in the interest of scientists.
In 1960, an American psychiatrist, Dr. Ian Stevenson
did a detailed study on reincarnation, in which
he collected more than 3000 reincarnation cases.
And in his detailed examination, it was revealed that many 8-9 year old children
remembered some memories and places that had no relation with them.
Dr. Stevenson was also criticized for his reincarnation theories.
Even today, science considers reincarnation to be a mystery or myth.
But in Bhagavad Gita, this concept of rebirth has been explained in great detail.
In Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna has explained
to Arjun that our body can be destroyed,
but our soul remains immortal.
According to the 6th verse of the 8th chapter
of the Gita, the things that a person remembers
when he dies, becomes a part of his soul.
And he can remember those things even after
he goes into another body.
These are called popularly called past life memories,
whose source is still being debated and argued.
Bhagavad Gita says that death and rebirth
are such a never-ending cycle through which the soul passes through again and again.
But does science believe in the soul?
Dr. Wilder Penfield has mentioned in his book,
The Mystery of Mind, an experiment through which
he wanted to prove the existence of the soul.
There are different areas in our brain that are
responsible for different movements and actions.
In Dr. Penfield's experiment, he artificially
activated some areas of the brain
and made some movements in the hands of his subjects.
He raised the question that if the brain is making these movements artificially,
then who signals the brain in normal life?
He came to the conclusion that if the brain is
a computer, then it is programmed by something
and that is our soul.
In Bhagavad Gita, it is clear that rebirth is such a truth after death
that a person can get rid of only after attaining salvation.
Salvation is a state in which the soul
gets free from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.
In Bhagavad Gita's 7th and 15th chapter, a
universe has been mentioned where there is no sun
nor is there any moonlight.
Whatever light is there is the radiance of the Supreme God.
Here, the Supreme God of Shri Krishna resides and
only those souls go here who have got salvation
by getting separated from this world.
This part of Bhagavad Gita not only talks about the soul
but again, talks about the existence of a different universe.
Our world does not really exist.
The sky we are surrounded by is not the sky,
but like the screen of our phone, it is glass,
and we are a simulation i.e. characters of a
fake world which are controlled by someone.
In 2003, philosopher Nick Bostrom proposed this simulation theory according to which
a future society of aliens is controlling us.
Our world is not a reality but an illusion.
But surprisingly, this illusion has been mentioned in our Vedas centuries ago
where it is called Maya, a deception, something that does not really exist.
Like in a simulation game, we can design our
world as per our wish and we can also delete it.
Similarly, according to the 9th chapter of Bhagavad
Gita, Shri Krishna has created this material world
and all the living beings in it and they can also destroy this world.
So the simulation theory which scientists are trying to understand,
Shri Krishna had already explained it in Bhagavad Gita.
The only difference is that where some
people think that aliens are controlling us,
Bhagavad Gita says that we are a part of a universe
which is under the control of God or Supreme God,
which is a form of Shri Krishna.
The importance of meditation and yoga has been mentioned in Bhagavad Gita repeatedly.
But do you know that the power of meditation
can also stop the crimes happening in the world?
Year 1993, a small city in Washington DC, USA was suffering from crime and evil.
Where on one hand, the police of the city was trying to reduce the crimes,
on the other hand some scientists decided to do an experiment here.
The Transcendental Meditation and TM Siddhi Program.
In this experiment, 4,000 people from that small town took part
and they were made to do meditation for 6 weeks.
The results were shocking.
Within 6 weeks, the crime rate of that place reduced by 23%.
This is what Bhagavad Gita also teaches us.
In the 6th chapter of Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna has told that
when you meditate, you can overcome all your bad emotions like sadness, anger, ego
and recognize your true self.
The importance of power of meditation which was taught by scientists in 20th century,
was told by our scriptures many thousands of years ago.
There are many secrets hidden in our scriptures,
and when you know about them, you feel that there
is so much knowledge which is still undiscovered.

Bhagavad Gita, then do tell us in the comments.
