Visiting Detroit’s Haunted Areas
Summary

detroit is where the auto industry
started this city used to be a booming
metropolis
there are numerous reasons why detroit
went down
it's like a city frozen in time
it breaks my heart to think of how this
city used to be a beautiful place
oh symmetries again
[Music]
now we are exploring a random
neighborhood
[Music]
these houses used to be someone's home
a home where memories were created
a place where friends and family would
gather
a place that felt safe and sound
so it breaks my heart to see houses like
this
these look like the ones in horror
movies
it looks terrifying
but this used to be a home to someone
too
most of the houses in this neighborhood
are like this
wrecked and abandoned
a lot of these neighborhoods have become
a no-go zone
the scenery kind of reminds me of the
walking dead
[Music]
detroit used to be the fourth largest
city in the u.s
this is what you would call a ghost town
[Music]
it's time to go visit the plant
everything is eerie and scares the
out of me
this is it
the packard automotive plant
the plant opened in 1903
and closed in 1956.
i'm not gonna go inside because i don't
think you can
and because i'm too chicken to go in
there
it was cold and i heard weird sounds
maybe it was coming from my imagination
but i'm pretty sure i heard footsteps
i wonder if there are any plans to
demolish the factory it's huge
why did packgarde stop manufacturing
cars this is another abandoned house
right in front of the factory
[Music]
it was freezing cold but i wanted to
take a closer look
but then i got goosebumps and had a gut
feeling telling me to get back in the
car
everything was just too scary
i hate horror movies so i don't know why
i decided to come out here
but you don't normally see stuff like
this so i don't
regret coming out here

the plant

experience with you
