what's going on guys your boy ace from
otg kicks and prince i'm back here again
we're gonna be talking about this eye
color 650 from uni net
please make sure before you buy an eye
color or any white toner printer that
you do your research me i've seen a
couple of people on youtube hype this up
and um
even though it has its place it's not
really great for big large prints
if you don't know how to rasterize an
image or preferably i like to use the
knock me out black option because i do a
lot of black hoodies um
this is great for
neck labels
small little chest load was going to
throw this on the chest too soon
and um yeah
let's get so i'm going to show you guys
a full breakdown of how to use the white
toner printer the ico 650
this price was about
roughly i think like eight nine eight
nine nine five nine i thought now
somewhere around there i comboed it with
um
with uh my embroidery machine so i don't
have the exact price but it's kind of
costly if you want to get into white
tuna printing
get the eye color 560 or the 550 that's
around 4 000 um you know if you die need
to get into
white toner printing
one thing that i do know i haven't tried
yet but i will it is great for textiles
you can print on cups and glasses on
hard surfaces even make tattoos so
surely
you'll see me making some more videos on
the different things that you can do
with this eye color printer but for now
i've been doing t-shirts and hats i
actually did this hat right here don't
mind the hair
um they came out pretty cool with these
transfer sheets right here
and um another business option that you
can have is you can make transfers you
just gotta make the customer aware
that wash the garments inside out um the
heat pressing time and the pressure as
well as if it's a hot and cold peel
white toner printers are a cold peel so
let's get to the design
and let's go
okay so what i did
was one thing to keep in mind you got to
use a windows pc or laptop for this
right here so one thing that i had to do
was um
go and search for a compatible
piece of equipment because my uh
imac
and my macbook doesn't work it's not
compatible with the program the pro rip
software so keep that in mind if you're
trying to get into
um white toner printing
so i have an image here this is a simple
image that i took from uh
google which is just for me
i have to utilize the pro rip software
so i'm going to go into
[Music]
where it says if i want to click on
this right here i'm going to right click
on it
i'm going to go to properties
i'm going to go to
[Music]
color layer
processing options and i'm going to use
a knock me out
black option right here
i have to hold the camera
and put it down because
unfortunately i cannot access the bottom
of this page right here to click on it
to press ok so i have to fold
since it is a um
touch screen
i have to you know fold it and then
press click so i'll be right back okay
so i finally got it working what i'm
gonna do
is scroll up
hit print
i hate windows computers
no offense to your users but
app all the way
all right hit print it says active
starting to print
like i said i didn't knock me out black
because i'm going to put it on the black
hoodie
once this printed we're gonna go to the
a and b
process um
which is another learning curve
but it doesn't take too long
you can print multiple multiple
images
especially if you gang them up like this
and sell them as transfers neck labels
left chest prints
etc etc
came out dope
i knocked out all of the black
[Applause]
and this is how the image look
all right guys so here we go
i got my
fusion iq hotronix
um pullout
swing away this is the cadillac of heat
presses if you know you know
this is about
2 000 and some change
um so what we're going to do is we're
going to take our a sheet
and we're going to marry it
to our b
and
our b sheets
have adhesive
it has adhesives on this side which will
adhere to
the back of this image right here um so
we're gonna put it on the press
what i like to do
is to utilize where are the sheets
i like to utilize the craft paper
that comes with it
um a lot of times
when i use my
hpn heat press
in the beginning before i purchase this
i left a lot of glue stains
on the bottom of the top of my pallet so
um
planting sorry i keep referring back to
screen printing so the bottom on top of
the presser left a lot of glue stamps so
i started using the craft paper that
they provide with
the printer
place it like so
having
the image
face down
with the
the print side up
we're going to take
this adhesive paper
and you're just gonna line up like so
so currently i have the heat press
at 310 degrees for 120 seconds
that is what's needed to do
the a and b process
i like to leave a little bit
off
so that i can peel
like so
i'll leave a little bit off that i can
peel it and makes it easier for me to do
i'll take the
other
craft paper put it on top
for some reason it works better when i
use the swing away
instead of the pull down
so i'll swing it away
swing it back
press it down i have the pressure on at
a six that's recommended um as per
youtube university
and we'll be back once this thing is
over 120 seconds 310 degrees
all right guys we're back
i purchased this heat resistant glove
from amazon a couple of two sides but i
can't find another so i'm gonna use one
take off your craft paper
and you're gonna pull in a swoop of
motion
like so so you start at an angle
and then you pull it
and you go very slow it's a hot peel
all right
here we go
we almost there we almost there these
things are hitting the miss
but more than likely once you get the
process down
they're definitely
ah okay
so
i don't know if you can see the image
kind of faintly maybe you can maybe you
can't
um but
all of the
adhesive is now on the back
of this
image so what i'm gonna also do now save
this craft paper to put on top
and
we're going to cut
this image out
so the reason i cut the image because
you will get some glue stains
as you can see going around so i'll just
cut it around
um make sure it's cleaned up nice and
neat
so this this is a two-step process so
that is the first step the first step is
to do the a and b marion
of the image and the adhesive
the second part is to
now
heat press
your image to your substrate
so they recommend 310 degrees for 20
seconds others have seen on
on youtube
and on facebook they said 265 degrees
for 20 seconds
um
your preference
right now
it's going to take too long
to uh
let it cool down to 265 as it is on 310
and this is for me so
i'm just getting a generic gilding
hoodie
don't really use gildan hoodies but i
had a bunch of these
uh laying around from when i first
started
push this in here
craft paper over it
and we're doing 3 10
for 20 seconds
and this is a cold peel so we'll be
right back all right guys we're here on
the press we're about to do the peel it
is a specific way to peel this thing as
like i said this is a cold peel you have
to come at the corner and you have to
slowly peel it if you peel it too fast
you will peel up some of the image all
right i'm hoping this comes out good if
not hey like i said this is one for me
so some people they go like this
um
this is fine
um i'll try to do that i don't know if
you've seen a little piece right here
it just came up
um
another piece just came up
right over
here that's when i tried to do that type
of swoop of motion doesn't work for me i
usually just go with the swoop
real slow slow peel
and so
white toner printer this is what happens
picture the crown is missing now
up top here
but like i said this is for me
um what we have to do now is actually
press it again to seal it in so it
doesn't look too bad
it doesn't look too bad it kind of looks
like it's a style because of how
the image
is designed
so i'm going to give it one final press
with the craft paper and we'll see how
it looks
on person
all right five seconds four three
two
one
that's
it so
these are
white toner
printers i think like i said
they're good for small items big large
images
they're good for one off shirts
that they are good for one-off shirts
here we go
big biggie let's see how it works
[Music]
all right how are we looking how we
looking
p i g p o p p a no info for the d e a's
okay my dope man like i said it's great
for one rook eye color 650 is definitely
great for one offs
you guys are looking into this
it is a place in the market for it
not
for
big logos and t-shirt designs like this
because the washer ability is also
suspect um
i'll be doing a watch test eventually
and i'll show you guys how after a
couple walks how these things are
looking
is it worth the money
it is if you have the place for it
you can uh also do sublimation so you
don't have a sublimation printer you can
buy the cartridges
the toners
and you can put that in there and you
can do sublimation so um
it's a great multi-functional machine
would i buy it again probably wouldn't i
think i would just would have saved a
couple of dollars
and
got a dtg printer only reason i got this
because i'm still working on my
photoshop skills so if i had you know
skills in photoshop and be real full
with that item straight for the dtg
pre-treatment embroidery screen print
and a and uh heat press and i've been
good to go anyways your boy ace from otg
kicks and prints thank you guys for
watching please once again make sure you
