My name is Roger Singh Jhingan,

and I'm here today to talk to you about education and

the difference it makes to people's lives across the globe.

I've always attended school without much thought about it.

That is until we started to discuss about quality education during our inquiry

lessons this year. This subject really interest me as

I really appreciate my education.

This really made me think about how unfair it is.

Then some children living in different parts of the world don't get to have

the same expectation as me, the expectation to learn.

In fact, many children don't access the learning at all.

Our world is of technology and innovation.

So why now people are still not accessing education across the world?

Surely the more educated people of the world become,

the more we are developed as a whole.

Did you know that more than 72 million children of primary age are currently

not in school, and around seven hundred

and fifty nine million adults are illiterate?

There are many benefits to being educated, but it is the most important,

that education can ensure that you’re able to get a good job and make money.

Money is important for survival in this world.

Secondly, if everyone was educated where end inequality and all having more

equal opportunities to jobs, solving the issue of

ensuring that everyone has access to quality education is very complex.

But I found a few skills and that can help.

Firstly, the issue of not having enough teachers.

COVID 19 taught us that we got all there online.

I feel it should be mandatory that every teacher work in developed countries

offer a few lessons per week online to children that currently do not have

access to education. Furthermore, they can help to train

teachers under developed countries as it will be a lifelong change.

Sadly, money is a big factor in this difficult problem.

So I also propose that countries show more empathy

and care towards countries that have no well developed education systems

They can support through donations to help build schools

for devices to help via online learning for students.

Education is one of the most important gift that can be given to a child.
