play00:12

play00:22

make sure you hit that subscribe button, hit that  bell so you don't miss anything cause we on a road

play00:26

to 100K baby so let's do this. So everybody it's  story time and I got my notes right here we're

play00:33

at day six at the hospital we're almost ready to  go home so let's talk about it. I first part was

play00:40

doing the stairs during PT. She was like how many  stairs you got go on your place? I said I got 12

play00:46

so she was let me practice doing these stairs on  the stairwell and the way you got to do it you're

play00:52

not going to do normally because you just normally  walk up the stairs hold on to the rail whatever

play00:57

like this the way might you know the way standing  is now you're going be stagger stepping so like

play01:03

if you go up the stairs you start with your right  leg first go up that way then tell your left leg

play01:07

so right left right left all the way up and then  reverse it come back down depending on how your

play01:15

railing is so as we were practicing that that was  actually pretty interesting so we're just doing

play01:22

up to five stairs at a time so we go 1 2 3 4 5 5 4  3 2 1 so just showing what the progression is and

play01:30

she was like you're moving pretty fast with how  PT is going which was a great thing cause I was

play01:36

actually quite excited cause like I said from like  the very first episode it was up for me my mindset

play01:42

I was ready to go home I knew I wanted to go home  soon I didn't want to stay in there not saying

play01:47

there's nothing wrong with the doctors, and the  therapy, and everything they were doing but it was

play01:54

time for me to go home hit the recovery started  so I can get back on my and feel better than ever

play02:02

and it's just with the little things like that you  feel real appreciative because you have the team

play02:08

for them your team with you everything's coming  right here everything's working well together

play02:14

that's what I love right there. Next thing,  we have to say is we transferred to my new

play02:20

room so paperwork went through technically they  already had it day three when I was first waking

play02:27

up to see my friends and family they already put  the paperwork in because they saw how fast I was

play02:33

progressing with just moving around and everything  so it took a while because one, it takes some time

play02:40

to get your body moving and everything else like  that and they had to wait for a bed too so once I

play02:46

was already progressing pretty fast like I said  they were putting that paperwork in already and

play02:51

they're like hey before you know you're going to  be have to transfer to your new room which means

play02:55

you're ready to go home so we got the clearance  but my bed over there but they actually put me

play03:04

for the recliner all until like I said now I'm in  the Next Room which is on a different floor like

play03:10

I spoke play in the previous story time but this  time like I said it was quite different because of

play03:16

the fact that everything went on and now you're  like okay I'm progressively getting better this

play03:21

is a great thing I mean you know you could have  miss the place you would have miss the unit you

play03:26

was in cause I had a great team of doctors, great  team of nurses and just people who were willing to

play03:33

help me out so that was pretty cool about that  but now I'm in a new area some of my doctors

play03:40

who I knew I was going to see anyway they came to  visit me over there they're like oh yeah he's not

play03:44

there no more he's over there so they will see  the progression so everything is building up.

play03:49

Lost more weight going through this like I said  it was and also with the appetite, the appetite

play03:54

was getting better so things were progressing with  appetite was weight loss and then like I said just

play04:00

exercising with the PT just pushing my body more  pushing it, pushing it, pushing it, and I'm pretty

play04:07

proud, I was pretty proud of myself, my friends  and family proud of myself the PT, the nurses,

play04:13

we proud of you know proud of everything because  you know your appetite gets higher you know you

play04:19

want to do more you have more energy so that  was the thing it was like yeah we're on a we're

play04:24

get on a natural high like this so it's it was a  beautiful thing in motion. As well I had friends I

play04:31

had some my friends and family visit me during an  echo now it was so funny one my friends actually

play04:37

came in during the echo it was hilarious cause  I'm turned to the side they're pressing on my

play04:43

chest that that hurt she was like are you press  all I said n it's okay I can hold I have a high

play04:53

pain threshold maybe for some others it would  have been agonizing but it was a little painful I

play05:02

just what do you say I bit the bullet or bite the  bullet whatever you want to call it. It was a bit

play05:07

tough I was like oh and she's pressing she's using  her I want to say probe but her tool, her tool and

play05:15

pressed on my chest and she you know I'm turning  to the side so I'm like you know my side's out

play05:19

so I was like hey all right whoever it is what's  up um you know sorry if you see my backside first

play05:26

before anything else but I'm wearing clothes too  will not be close I don't know yet but who cares

play05:34

at that point. I'm turning to the side I'm like  turning over I'm like let me you know let me go

play05:41

through this Echo and we're talking and I'm  talking through this Echo but it was so funny

play05:45

because as I'm talking I'm getting I'm like you  know making noises cause she's pushing a little

play05:51

bit a little hard and but got that done Echo was  great you know did everything we needed to do

play05:59

the medications working that was taking and I knew  like I said my goal was to head home and get the

play06:06

process started on the recovery so from here at  the hospital and then like said now I'm shooting

play06:14

as I'm talking to you going home and that was like  a lot of those things were just so simple and it

play06:22

was just like I said just oh I did see something  funny, I saw this one guy walking with his shirt

play06:32

open and there was people like following him  around and it was just weird I was like what

play06:38

the hell is going on then I saw as the guy's shirt  was open it was three cops who were walking him

play06:45

and he was blitzing through the whole thing so he  was just circling and circling I guess something

play06:52

happened with his heart that no one another  hospital or place was willing for him to walk

play06:58

so I saw him at the hospital while I was there  I was like oh I guess he's from whatever system

play07:06

you know I'm not going to I don't know if he was  wherever County he was in he was up there the cops

play07:11

were walking him around he was walking fast I was  like that man's moving I be moving like that soon

play07:18

but that man was moving to say this was this is  my getting close to going home moment so now I'm

play07:26

getting a lot happier I was really happy to begin  with because I already knew I think the success

play07:30

of the surgery went well and everything else  appetite's feeling good you know doing the stairs

play07:35

pushing myself harder and harder but not going  too fast so that you know it's like that I have

play07:43

a setback so things were going really good things  are going great and like I said like said having

play07:48

a great team going through this and in life, sky's  the limit you're pushing yourself and you want to

play07:54

be better for you and everybody that's story time  for you guys so I hope you guys like, you comment,
