hey guys welcome back to AFK journey in

today's video we're going to be doing a

beginner guide for the season the waves

of intrigue now if you're a brand new

player you will have to play through the

Bas game first so if you're completely

new I'll leave a link to my base

beginners guide uh in the description so

you can go ahead and check that one out

and come back here once you get into the

season but for everyone who is up to the

season I wanted to go through all the

main things that you want to do in the

season some of them are common sense

that you may already know uh and others

are unique to this season so we're going

to go through everything looking around

the first few days of play and I'm going

to start off with once we start the

actual season straight after the update

which is around when I'll upload this

video so the first thing you're going to

do is you're going to go to your quest

loog there should be a popup that just

comes up on the screen you'll go talk to

Hogan and you'll start a quest chain

which will take you to this island here

specifically now the first thing I would

do when I get to this island is jump in

and do your uh battle AFK stages just

set this to start autoing because even

though and also if you're trying to

really M Max you want to jump in at the

very start of the server but if you they

do have something really nice which is

say you don't log into the game until 12

hours after the season started once you

get into the season you should have 12

hours of AFK loot waiting there but keep

in mind AFK loot is dependent on your

AFK stage progress so you do want to be

progressing that ASAP once you get in

now they did put in a previous uh Dev

notes that there would be like a cap on

how much dust and experience you can get

uh at in AFK loot per day based on the

days that the server has had the season

open but there is nowhere where I can

find the exact information for that so I

think the best thing you can do is jump

in straight away and go straight into

these B like the battle one here on the

right hand side and start that you'll do

Talent trials later because you'll get

extra Talent unlocks which we'll talk

about in a sec through the normal one so

just go into your battle here your

standard one and start the Auto Battle

and then you can start looking at

everything else now once you've jumped

in and you've got your Auto Battle

running the next thing you can do is

just do your auto path you guys know the

gist you just hit the auto path away you

go you're going to go through the story

if you want to watch the story watch the

story I I skipped I'm going to play

through the story on my main account I

skipped it over here on the test server

but you're going to play through the

main story now when you get into day one

each day is going to be gated behind

letting you do one zone so once you get

up to this stage here you will be done

uh the campaign for the day you'll have

to wait to get through the miasma until

the next day plays so once you've done

that that is the first thing you want to

do like I said you still want to be

afking all through everything the next

thing you want to do once you've done

that is go in and kill all the enemies

in the world keep in mind some of these

tunnels some of these some of these are

tunnels some of them are buildings some

enemies are in there you want to go in

and you want to clear all the enemies

because you guys know with the start of

the game/ the start of the season the

most important thing is leveling up your

characters as fast as possible that's

why at the start we jumped in we started

our AFK stage farming uh and then also

you want to defeat all the enemies

around the world because they do drop

experience which is going to give you

every little bit of advantage that you

can get so you're going to go around

you're going to clear all the enemies

now there will also be a um on on day

one around this spot here there's a

corrupt creature go ahead and do those

corrupt creatures as soon as you see

them because everyone will be doing that

so it'll be easy to get a teammate for

it plus they give you extra resources

extra gear and stuff like that which is

absolutely fantastic so do the corrupt

creature as well now once you've done

all the world enemies uh that is when

you've got a couple things you can look

to now the first thing I would do is

quickly check where you're at uh come

over here and do what you can do do like

your first attack on the dream realm

keep in mind that you will be doing the

dream realm later in the day once you've

leveled up a bunch further and also tied

into leveling I do want to mention uh

with your fast rewards once again as

always in new games new Idol games

especially or New Seasons save these

towards the end of the day uh or when

you're completely stuck on AFK stages

either one of those scenarios is fine

that is when you go ahead and use your

fast clears because that is when you're

going to get the highest efficiency out

of them and keep in mind you know how I

said that they would have some sort of

capping element to the dust and

experience that capping doesn't apply to

gear so you can get better gear so just

still same thing applies with these uh

fast rewards do them towards the end of

the day or when you're stuck on AFK

stages the other one same applies to

your daily quests claim these once

you're stuck same same just situation

because it gives you experience and dust

so those are affected by your AFK stage

progression once again I'm not too sure

on the Caps if I find that out I will

let you guys know so once again from

there you're going to do one dream round

boss you're going to do the rest of your

daily stuff just note that your drw's

trial won't be unlocked your her gaet

won't be unlocked I'm pretty sure

Legends trial is locked and so is

supreme Arena and they are tied behind

AFK stage progress I believe uh the

heroic Gauntlet and jurus trial are also

time gated along with AFK stage gated so

that's why you really want to be pushing

your AFK stages as well especially get

into your Supreme Arena because you do

get a reset you can push really high

against the Bots and get a good chunk of

diamonds in there so that is the next

thing you're going want to do now past

that there's a few things you can do you

can go ahead and you can do all the

world quests there's a few Fair few

World quests I think there's one here

that I still haven't done in the first

Zone because I'm useless but you can go

ahead and you can do all these World

quests um you know the the the thing I

don't like about the quests in this one

look I've still got a bunch of them I

haven't done they take a ton of time for

300 diamonds so just do these if you're

really stuck and you just want something

to do to pass the time or if you're

interested in the story of them for me

they they take way too long for the

rewards and so I've sort of like just

done a couple and like wow that was ages

I'm I'll just leave them for later

moving on past that you can do fishing

the first area the the fishing noes

reset daily uh and the first area only

has I believe it's just the three

fishing noes you can go do that they

updated fishing there is an event tied

into fishing as well that you can go

ahead and get into which is going to

give you the extra rewards so you can go

ahead do your fishing and Away you go

from that one so that is the next thing

that we are looking at now once we've

done all of that the main thing you want

to do is go ahead and keep progressing

your AFK stages now as you're

progressing those AFK stages you will be

getting these things which are Talent

orbs and that leads us into the next

thing which is our faction talents so if

we go in here to characters I just note

on the on the test server if I open this

on my phone it bugs the game out and I

have to reboot and I can't do this on my

phone hopefully they fix that for Global

but if not if you're on your phone and

the talent system keeps freezing the

game you might have to log into PC

because that's just what I've had on the

test server they did just do a patch I

haven't checked it um but over here in

the talents now essentially what you're

going to want to go for first um the the

honestly you there's a few things with

talents don't get overwhelmed by these

because you do have to eventually level

a bunch of them um you say see here I've

got to activate 40 Talons uh of any

faction to unlock the next stage now if

you do have enough Celestial hypens you

got to have four of them unlocked then

you will be able to unlock hypens as

well and that means you've got 40 of 50

so then you will have to pick and choose

but essentially for most people uh use

the first one you want to upgrade is

going to be the faction that you use in

AFK stages because once again if we

bounce back over here into the AFK

stages Talent trials is where these

talents are active and now to activate

the talent you have to have three of a

faction and so the first one I upgraded

on this account was my mullers because

my MERS are my main team for pushing on

my other account I might do Wilders I'll

have to wait and see but whatever your

main um AFK stage team uses three of

that's the first talent you want to

unlock because that is the one you're

going to be using the most and just note

the key thing is uh the effect of the

basically each of the um faction Talent

let me go show you has a different

effect so MERS uh you've got the effect

that the prime carrier which is that

node in the back left um will teleport

to the nearest area uh teleport to the

area near teleport to the nearest area

with the most enemies dude that that

wording got me um but yeah so it's a

Teleport and then they get a shield and

stuff like that if we go over to Wilders

here you can see the prime carrier loses

some HP um but they get basically get

buffed with attack speed and so and

increase their range so each one has a

different effect but once again whatever

your main team is for AFK stage pushing

you're just going to want to pick up

whatever faction you're using three or

more of in that team and that's pretty

much the gist of it now once again then

so I did MERS first and then you're

going to go ahead and unlock the rest

and so on and so forth now the one thing

that I wanted to mention about these

faction talents is those effects apply

to any hero so you just got to have

three of one faction like you can see

here I've got three MERS and so I've got

this Prime carrier spot and as long as

you have three of one faction that

carrier spot that effect applies to no

matter what the faction of the hero in

that spot is so I've got the M benefit

but my Nara here is the one that's going

to get teleported just for just to

demonstrate you can see there my Nar got

teleported into the middle of the enemy

team that is the way it functions so to

unlock the effect you need three of the

faction and to use the effect it can be

on any character in the team as long as

you have three of a faction in the team

and that is the basic gist around hero

talents keep in mind once again it's not

the biggest stress we do get extra um

resets for these over here in this in

the um season quests so keep that in

mind you do get resets for them which I

can probably find it here and see here

we get two resets so once again it I've

got three currently owned it's not the

end of the world don't get overwhelmed

by the seasonal talents because that's

like the one main system that you'll see

here that you don't really recognize now

coming into this stuff you really want

to stay on top of these growth trials um

as you can see here we've got a weekly

limit of points we can get however don't

stress the weekly limit because you can

always get a go above it you can see I'm

on 762 of 750 and then once the next

week resets that will just continue on

and I'll be at 762 so on and so forth

but you definitely want to look at these

these growth quests as you can see reach

season residence level 360 complete

Quest yada yada yada reach average

season level now previously before the

patch they had requirements on artifact

levels it looks like those requirements

are gone so hopefully you don't have to

level up artifacts cuz ideally you do

want to save for a future artifact and

I'll do a whole artifact video in the

future uh in the next couple days

probably so when it matters but just

note the first artifact you get which is

like the healing one I wouldn't be

upgrading that one I'd be saving those

resources for for some of the other ones

you get in the future but essentially

you do want to stay on top of these

missions because these missions are

going to give you these chests which is

going to give you extra gear which is

going to be super nice once again you're

not getting any experience from these

that I can remember but you do get some

gear which is always helpful in helping

you progress so that is the next thing

that we are looking at over there

besides that that pretty much covers

everything besides that that on the on

the first day once you've done the main

story you've done the quests you've done

the fishing uh then and you've done all

your general game modes then it's just

all about pushing AFK stages you just

want to keep on pushing those AFK stages

as hard as you can because once again

that is going to affect your loot and

even if they do have some sort of

capping on the experience in dust they

don't have a capping on the gear unlocks

so that is why you just want to be have

your focus as these things and that is

the most important thing normally at the

start of the season is pushing your AFK

stages once again do recommend starting

on the normal ones and then you'll

unlock a bunch of these uh talents uh

what are these Talent orbs and then you

can use those Talent orbs to unlock your

main AFK stage team and then you can go

on and keep progressing through there

the other place because and and the

reason I say the most important thing to

focus on your talents is your AFK stage

team is because dream realm does not

apply these benefits Supreme Arena does

um from what I've seen uh I believe

Legends trial does as well and jurus

trial does but they're modes that aren't

the most pivotal so dream realm is the

most important one and so is AFK stage

pushing early on so that is why you

really want to focus your talents on

what your AFK stage pushing team is and

that is basically the gist of it

everything else will unlock over time

but that should get your point in the

right direction for the start of the
