and so I came out into the living room
area
and all of a sudden I was so clogged up
my head was so clogged up I said my God
what what and so I opened the door and I
came out on The Veranda got some fresh
air sucked in some good
breath I was so sure I was getting sick

conversation is going on so thank you my
people thank you thank you thank
you and
um just know that I always appreciate
you today's
busy today is a little busy um but um
just just know that I I always
appreciate you guys and um I'm
here and um we had
some disturbing news out of Clarendon I
didn't even I wasn't aware of it because
I do have a radio in the in the
kitchen and
um we had turned it
down we turn it down and turn it down to
low and because I was
not
um you know wasn't like the r or R in
the kitchen in in Connecticut was always
on the Jamaican station yes but um here
I needed a radio in order to keep me
like if the hurricane is coming if bad
weather is coming because the the
lightning can be so sharp and strong
here and so I don't want to be caught
outdoors in it
but um I did download um a Weather
Channel so I'll get alerts on the phone
but because if the radio wasn't playing
we weren't I wasn't up to the minute
with the news going on around and as I
was sitting here yesterday evening um a
neighbor well he's actually one of the
workers a maintenance worker he was
passing by and he he said hello and I
said hello and he said did hear the news
and Clarendon and I said no what
happened and he said yeah 15 people got
shot and a died and you know
so I told him I thank him for letting me
know cuz I didn't even realize that um I
didn't have
the the radio outside didn't get the
news so I I really mentioned that to say
this you know people people um we see
all these things going on in our
different countries in America in
Jamaica in had in different places guys
and we have to know that these things
somebody provided are made access to the
weapons and the and the things that are
being used in these mass killings and
especially in Jamaica Jamaica was such a
great place you know until they start
bringing in the hardcore drugs and the
guns and the the things people were
oppressed but you know people would just
chill you know people would live in
their parents' homes for as long as they
can until they could find somebody to
marry and move on or they do farming or
they get a job somewhere to do something
or if they get an opportunity to go and
from working but people were living you
know they get married they would live in
their parents' homes or build a little
room next to their parents and everybody
was
living and then once the the the the
these drugs and
these things come about and people just
will will will get
paid by a for U by a gun you know do
this so you get a weapon you know the
people who are bringing in these things
they are people in high places who know
that these things are going on but they
turn their heads the other way or maybe
they're getting a cut back from these
things because there's no way these
things can come into a country without
people in higher up places not aware of
it they don't know about it people know
about it and so the influx of weapons
that are just hurting people left right
and Center for no reason it's it's
ridiculous it's truly ridiculous Jamaica
is such a beautiful place
and you know it's it is a tough go when
you know for whatever reason they went
there and did what they did did I don't
know what happened but you know go know
the days when people would cuss out one
another and it's done now days it's
they're not only satisfy with cussing
out but they're coming back with bad
with hardcore weapons people nowadays
are so you know they have a weapon and
and they push for for
violence they push for it the other day
we went to we went were in town and we
we were walking
through an area
there and the taxi came and there was no
parking at the spot they're not supposed
to part there and the attendant said to
to the to the the driver oh no you
cannot park here you
know the driver says so where must I
park and he says man I don't know but I
can't park here and if you hear the taxi
is filled with people you know and if
you hear the words of aggressive the guy
became because the man just tell him we
couldn't park at at the spot and he was
just cussing by himself because he's
cussing but the guy wasn't even
responding to him he was just cussing
the harshest things you know just and
I'm like in my head I'm saying you know
I'm not opening my mouth I'm here to
just eat my food and my my
business but he was just so
aggressive and I said my God what if the
man had really done something to him I
wonder what it would have happened
cuzz if he just tell him I heard the guy
you can't park there and is wa what what
not you expect me to park and the guy
says I don't know but you can't park
here and the words out of his mouth was
atrocious so it just goes to show us
guys that you know um go other day
somebody said you can't park here so my
said well you
part then and the man might tell him I
don't know and he might just drive off I
said boy no tough no hell you know but
nowadays man the bad
ones the bad ones walk
through I just walk through it and go
go you're making it to the pool you
going up to the
pool oh
so you just going far
now
where oh so go walk get a taxi now why
you good as gold man up the hill are you
pushing through all right man hi
girls you walk up to the gate and then
just get a taxi into town I got it take
it
easy all right so my neighbors are
passing through so
um it's just nice guys that you you know
you can be here and we can enjoy the
moments now and we give thanks I'm just
giving thanks so every moment I can get
up and come on the Vera people pass or
people don't pass but you can sit out
here and kind of suck in some fresh air
and feel the cold breeze you see it
behind me that it's always so Breezy and
nice look out at the ocean watch the
waves out there you can you can see the
movement of the waves you know the
little glistening portions when the
ocean is calm you don't see those
ripples but when the ocean when the
waves are you know you can see them
pushing in coming in but um I'm just
saying to people guys listen if you have
family members who will listen to you
and they're here in Jamaica just talk to
them and tell them to chill tell them it
is so much nicer when they try to get
along because the end of the day
everybody loses every body loses so we
shouldn't puff up our chest and be so
bad you know and that's why I said once
I am around people and I see their
behavior their attitude their anger
their ungratefulness their I'm not
arguing with anybody I have a choice and
I just move myself away from them you
know I just move myself away from them
so I don't have to get excited and you
know and and I don't need to use cuss
words I don't need to to to belittle
myself in those in those forms
and once I see how people behave I said
okay time to move away from this one I
don't need you in my space to to
aggravate me or to make me unhappy or to
make me have to say words I don't need
to say how are you
doing oh God take
it you're used to it oh God bless you
God bless
you
um and that's how it goes that's how it
it really goes talk to them and and you
yourself don't stay in situations where
you have to raise your voice and and and
become frustrated frustration is not
good because frustration builds up and
it builds up until we end up doing
things that we would not have done in in
a different way oppression is not a good
thing when we be little people we push
them down we keep pushing we keep
pushing we never see any good they do we
but we see every every minute that they
make a mistake we see it big and bold
but we never ever see when they do
something good and and beautiful and
commend them and and appreciate them and
so they build up all this animosity and
this anger and then in when situations
arrive where where where there's a a dis
um a Discord then we find out all of the
things just come out in full force and
people just do things that would they
they would not normally do so encourage
your family and your friends guys and
tell them it's not worth it I'm telling
you it's not worth it too much too much
un necessary Bloodshed for nothing if
you look at the reason some of these
things are happening it's like no reason
no
reason the the the little thing like
people that just push one another and go
but miss is that anymore you push and
you're coming back with and you're
getting a bullet you speak and you get a
bullet and so it it is a tough time we
living in and it's going to get tougher
because in our days way back then we see
people fight with Fist and they might
pick up a stone and throw it I hope them
miss or then pick up a bottle and throw
it I hope them Miss and then run them
throw it and run and nowadays it's not
so it's no Sticks and Stones anymore
it's it's knives and machetes and and
bullets
and so my God we just have to keep
praying
because without prayer I don't know how
we going to manage so many people are
praying already many times a day we
still see the anger and the frustration
so I don't know what's going to happen
um later on as younger people are
growing up and are becoming more and
more violent more and more creative ways
not to do good but to do evil
so today I just um I it rested on my
mind and I wanted to just speak a little
bit about that and and just to make sure
that we're still hopeful and that as as
who wrote who wrote the Gospel of
John
but in St John 14: 27 Christ told us he
says my peace I leave with you my peace
I give to you not as the world G
but let not your heart be troubled and
do not be afraid um please feel his
peace in your lives today and
always all right take it easy my friend
all
right you know so speak peace to them
guys speak peace try to maintain peace
sometimes it's not easy sometimes you
have to give up your right just for
peace sake you're out there driving and
sometimes you're in the right but people
are pushing and
forging up on you they up in your back
and they you know just pull over and let
them go don't sit there holding the road
and them and they're trying to pass you
you're holding the road on them and you
know that if you hold the road on them
you speed up when they try to overtake
it can create a massive accident don't
you go out there be and and play with
people's lives like that somebody tries
to overtake you it's legal to overtake
it is legal so let them go ease now you
know that when somebody's overtaken you
should reduce your speed and give them
enough time to go and and to merge back
into traffic so don't hold Road on
people and then innocent Landes get lost
they're trying to overtake let them
overtake let them overtake let them go
but no sit there you create a worse
situation and then you you get through
and you keep going and leave people in a
hot mess behind you know stop playing
these horrible games and learn to let
peace abide let peace abide it's not
everybody every tit means you need to
tat leave the Tit for tats you know when
sometime even in your own relationships
your your your significant other might
say something that it might hurt your
feeling but you don't need to excuse me
who the f you think you're talking no
hold your hold your hold you and when
the time is right you speak softly you
speak quietly you said what your said
today did it sound right it really made
me frustrated or what did you mean when
you said so and so in a quiet moment in
a better moment the really the the
something can be explained and you
everybody will be heard when people are
trying
to and and and the comat it's combative
and nobody hears a thing you nobody
hears the sweet words of I am sorry I
appreciate you I thank you I'm great
nobody hears those things when we become
emotional and we become frustrated
enough that we don't listen we just want
our voices to be heard we want to be the
loudest one so just guys take it down
and Notch peace is a good thing peace is
a beautiful thing when you can eat in
peace and sleep in peace and and and and
talk in peace and go about your business
in peace Christ says that's what he left
with us
so let's go forth today and practice
peacefulness learn to listen more learn
to listen more and if you're wrong learn
to say you're sorry learn to explain the
reasons why you said or did things learn
to just be patient let us learn we're
not too old to learn you know and and
and so it doesn't matter what age we are
if you're hearing my voice today just
remember that
peace is a beautiful thing peace is a
beautiful
thing and with peace you don't have to
be embarrassed when you cuss out
somebody or you you say all sort of
words about somebody and then they are
extending kindness to you you don't have
to feel bad you know and also you don't
have to struggle through life because
people when they're nice to you you you
you you you are ungrateful and then now
you need their support and they're
saying I don't want to go through that
again so let me step aside let me move
away from it so let us practice
peacefulness peacefulness peacefulness
and then let's go forth and give God the
great the glory all right it's a
beautiful day guys you can see the wind
right through the video you see that the
wind is there and if you look in front
of me the beautiful no those L trees but
you can see

wind a blowing the wind so beautiful the
sun is out but the wind
is so I give God thanks for this guys I
I truly truly you see the banana tree

banana trees in the back and so I am
grateful for all things and um and this
is the reception I really really truly

blessing and he has done that for me
throughout my time owning home owning
