hello everybody and welcome to Milestone
study my name is Anusha and in this
video we are going to talk about
describe image questions which is under
speaking section if you are new to our
Channel don't forget to subscribe to our
Channel and like this video so that I
know that I'm doing a great job comment
anything below and we'll reply to your
queries and your concerns also remember
that you can use our website mileston
study.com Au to practice all the
necessary practice questions and take a
mock test as well for a free trial
please refer to the video that is linked
Below in the description for all other
class queries as well you have our
number in the
description now let's know the basics
first in the describe image question you
get some images it could be bar graph
pie chart or any kind of image a plain
image as well okay now in this question
we have to follow a template and then
use some keywords from the picture
that's it okay first of all let's see
the
template all right we're using mileston
study.com auu as the website uh to
practice describe image and to get the
uh template as well okay first you have
to register then you can go to practice
study materials I and study materials I
I there are two right we have to go to
study materials I I and then in the
templates okay so somewhere on the left
hand side you get the
templates here we go we got all the four
templates like this and our Focus today
is at the describe image template okay
the picture is mainly about and also
about and also about and also about I
think that's enough thank you so much
it's the easiest template I can tell you
I can guarantee that this is the easiest
template that you will find okay that's
why we have some kind of doubt whether
it's going to work or not in the real
exam now trust me today is 25th J 2024
it is working till the date okay and I'm
sure if pearon doesn't change their
system um this will continue to work
okay so do not ask do not doubt is this
working did your friend use it all our
students we suggest to use this template
yes there are other templates as well up
to you there is no flaw in the template
the only flaw is the way you speak okay
some people are fluent some people are
not fluent they make mistakes while
pronouncing the words so those are the
reasons why you get less marks in the
speaking section not because of the
template all right so whatever I'm going
to tell you today in this session it
will all all be authentic proven yeah so
whoever had has doubt with the system
with the way that we are teaching with
the things that we I'm going to talk you
can stop watching the video and move on
into your life right so whoever believes
in Milestone study in the words that I
speak in my videos they can continue
watching this video now first of all we
go onto the dashboard and then have a
look at describe image okay uh in any
speaking question there are three things
that you would need uh also when you're
using our website make sure you have
used Google Chrome as your browser on
the desktop or laptop uh not on the
mobile device so describe image
questions uh you will have a around I
know four or five
um so you will have three to four images
in the exam one after another back to
back okay you need to take some practice
time 25 seconds to practice and then
there's a beep tone after the beep you
have to speak immediately then click
next if you do not click next if you
wait for the you know rest of the things
to get over and then you click next that
may be too late okay so do it as soon as
possible all right so we are here our
practice session is going to begin let's
read The Heading first look at the image
Below in 25 seconds please speak into
the microphone and describe in detail
what the image is showing you will have
40 seconds to give your response yeah so
very clear instruction there is an image
here you have two pie
charts you get 25 seconds to practice so
the practice time beginning in blah blah
blah that's the practice time okay for
now I'm going to skip this uh let me
explain first in 25 seconds we have to
finish our practice uh maybe you want to
look at some keywords or maybe write
something okay I don't recommend writing
but look at the keywords then speak into
the microphone after the beep tone for
the next 10 to 15 seconds now here's a
lot of Doubt another doubt is 10 to 15
enough should we speak for 20 but the
friend says 25 blah blah blah okay now I
don't care what other people are saying
what we should care about is what the
real exam is testing on the real exam
has not told us has not given us any
guideline that we need to speak this
much we need to speak 5 Seconds 10
seconds or 20 40 seconds
okay they do give us 40 seconds no doubt
you will get sometimes 35 seconds yeah
35 to 40 seconds however who is going to
dictate how many seconds we going to
speak okay maybe I'm so good at my uh
fluency and my speech that I can finish
explaining this pie chart in 5
seconds or I may be so bad that I don't
even finish speaking within 40 seconds
isn't it because all of is
subjective your talent may be different
my mind may be different yeah so that's
why Pearson has not given us any
specific guidelines as to how much to
speak okay but because it's a
computerized test we you know we have
some techniques some tips and um through
all the experiments that I have done
conducted all throughout this PT Journey
almost like uh 21 times attempts I've
taken in the real exam um especially for
speaking uh sometimes trying this
template sometimes that template and
this template has proven to be the best
and the
easiest okay no stress nothing to
memorize very easy so I'll just put the
template here the audio the sorry not
the audio the picture okay and it
doesn't matter actually whether you say
picture or audio but anyway the picture
picture H is mainly about first sentence
yeah some people don't want to say
picture they'll say pie chart they will
say whatever comes you know if there's a
bar graph they'll say the bargraph I
don't have any issue but the picture
will do the job if you say the picture
for anything that is enough okay so even
if I do 10 of them I'll say the picture
the picture is mainly about distribution
of blood types the hiding and also about
Iceland and nor way and also about blood
types okay I've covered the words now
the letters and also about o a and also
about B and ab I think that's enough
thank you so much now there's another
tendency people start saying colors
that's unnecessary okay you can do it
I'm not asking you like strictly you
know restricting you to do that I'm I'm
just giving you options okay you don't
have to say colors or shapes or anything
like that before maybe if it was like
2016 17 18 then maybe I would have said
yeah colors and shapes is necessary but
now in
2024 you don't need to talk about colors
and shapes okay it has no significance
whatsoever all right so I'm going to do
this one let's restart take our practice
time all of you can practice with me if
you using this template
okay uh I hope the picture is clear let
me zoom in
a yeah a
bit and
uh 10 seconds left after the beep I'll
speak the picture is mainly about
distribution of blood types and also
about Iceland and Norway and also about
blood types and O and also about A and B
and also about AB I think that's enough
thank you so so much now clicking that
stop button is really important okay
clicking it at the right time is really
necessary so here you go here's the
score 90 by 90 5 by
five how and how much did I speak I
didn't speak a lot okay you can keep the
timer and check how many seconds I spoke
10 to 15 seconds I'm telling you
yeah now this uh the moment you get the
score don't be overjoyed and you know or
be sad now comes the analysis part you
have to look at this AI detection and
you see what things were recorded the
picture is mainly about distribution of
blood types exactly as I said it and
also about Iceland and Norway all good
and also about blood types o a b and ab
I think that's enough than whatever I
spoke it was detected
exactly therefore my fluency
pronunciation content all 100% okay now
what happens sometimes you are saying
distribution of blood types but they
might be just detecting distribution of
flood flood type okay Iceland can be
taken as Island yeah detection can vary
depending on your pronunciation so
instead of getting confused with a
template try and understand maybe
detection was wrong okay and that's why
your marks are low okay let's do another
one we'll do quite a lot today so that
you don't have any confusions left in
your
mind okay so 25 seconds I can see
longest suspension bridge by country
then there is three Japan turkey and USA
uh length of bridge meters height of
towers meters 0 500
1,000 so don't say thousand you say 1,00
100 like
that the picture is mainly about longest
suspension bridge by country and also
about Japan turkey and USA and also
about height of towers and length of
towers and meters and also about Zer and
50 and also about 100 and 150 and also
about zero and 500 I think that's enough
thank you so much that's it okay now
some people might say oh you speaking so
fast you're doing this and that I was
not fast for myself maybe I was fast for
you okay because I did not run out of
breath this speed was normal for me
maybe not normal for you so use your
normal
speed but speaking fast will minimize
your pronunciation issues trust me on
that okay I've seen people having
pronunciation issues but as soon as they
learn to speak fast that pronunciation
issues will vanish because rather than
pronouncing each word they are focused
on fluency and speaking the content
words okay so try it out if it doesn't
work then maybe next strategy should
work okay another something else should
work for you next question so instead of
next I'm going previous yeah here we go
volunteering in the UK volunteering
volunteering okay percentage at least so
put the numbers in the end that's also
another one of my strategies because
when you mix numbers and words you tend
to Fumble more so put the numbers in the
end
okay the picture is mainly about
volunteering in the UK and also about
percentage and year and also about at
least once in the last 12 months and at
least once a month and also about 0o and
20 and also about 40 and 60 2013 2014
and 2015 I think that's enough thank you
so
much okay now some of you might say but
you're not
breathing hello I'm breathing okay I am
breathing enough for my brain so maybe
you have not heard the breath but I'm
taking equal amounts of breath at equal
interval okay now here 5x five even if
your fluency is a bit down okay if you
have watched my previous read aloud
video uh you know about this uh even if
our
fluency is not 100% you can still score
5 by five okay and that should be our
Target instead of what how much you got
like 88 by 90 or 89 by 90 focus on the
marks here okay when you are practicing
through our website
previous M okay similar
picture these are line graphs but I I'm
still seeing the picture yeah okay this
time I'm going to skip the practice
time the picture is mainly about male
and female drivers in Canada and also
about percentage of population and also
about year male and female and also
about 0 25 and 50 and also about 75 and
also about 2016 2017 I think that's
enough thank you so much okay so I love
this template you see how um flu went
you can be with this template okay uh if
you're going to say I think that's
enough thank you so much you're taking
too much time okay describe image is all
about fluency and
speed uh especially in order to get 90
okay let's do another one okay lots of
information you don't have to use all of
them as I said speak for 10 to 15
seconds okay this one I'll
zoom in
more hear the
beep the picture is mainly about average
Journey time to work and also about UK
and 2017 and also about train bus and
motorbike and also about car other modes
and bicycle and also about walk in all
modes I think that's enough thank you so
much okay look
here scoring is still the same 90 by
90 uh don't forget to look at your your
AI detection okay here what I was about
to say was plural has to be pronounced
as plural if it is uh all mods with s
please say all modes don't say all mode
if it's car singular then you have to
say car you can't say cars okay don't
say cars yeah it's not the content so
content marks come if you are speaking
the words exactly as it is given in the
picture
okay all right uh another one
you go uhhuh so here we got something
like Point 18.7 2031 uh I'm least
bothered about that because I have
enough words here okay so better
disqualify ignore that uh those
numbers heading and all others are
enough the picture is mainly about plan
gift purchases for next Mother's Day and
also about United States and also about
gift category and person who plan to
purchase and also about expected average
spend per person and 75% 67% and 38% I
think that's enough thank you so
much M now is there anything that you
need to do about the pictures that's
another question okay look here pictures
a flower and uh this is t-shirt okay and
something like a cake do I have to
explain it's a cake it's a flower it's a
t-shirt no absolutely not as long as you
have the numbers the the words it's
enough okay don't have to go into
pictures all
right one or two more and then we go on
to the picture where there's
nothing see pronunciation is the key
yeah pronunciation influency instead of
content skip
this
the picture is mainly about
participation in sports by gender and
also about UK and 2008 and also about
men and women and percentage and also
about Fitness or gym and also about
cycling swimming and football and also
about yoga and zero I think that's
enough thank you so much so in my head I
already know what words I need to speak
what things I need to say okay if I'm if
I fumble here like if I keep thinking oh
should I say football first should I say
Fitness First the time is up by the time
you get your head straight yeah so you
need whenever you are doing practice you
need to get straight okay you go from
left to right or top to bottom or
whatever right to left okay do you say
this one first or that one first so that
mind setup is very
important okay now I'm going to pick a
random number let's see what happens
okay
M the picture is mainly about diet
nutrition and and sleep and also about
100% health and also about spot fit and
mental and also about physical and
motivation I think that's enough thank
you so
much okay look look so this is how if
you perform in the real exam you are
going to get full points in the describe
image however as soon as a pronunciation
gets low content low fluency low okay
that means you are struggling in this
question try solve it okay uh also
there's a big warning
here this strategy works in the real
exam may not work in other websites if
you following mileston
study.com yes we are we have that system
okay and in the exam also the similar
system will work you can see go through
our page Facebook page and YouTube
Community where we have posted every day
we post scorecards student scorecards
okay and that tells us that the template
is working
not just that we have taken like
personally our teachers I personally
have gone into the real exam and used
this template okay so there's no doubt
100% no doubt that the template works
and the techniques work okay like
speaking this much speaking these words
they all
work now there's one more thing that you
might have questions about what if there
is no heading and numbers yeah what to
do there so let me first pull up
one kind of image where there is
nothing it's World
War so you see the picture there is no
heading no numbers there are four planes
and uh a cloud okay uh lots of clouds
gray color white color uh in a normal
situation students would say the pictory
is mainly about four planes and also
about though heading is not given yeah
this heading new world war is not given
so you can say four planes and clouds
and gray sky da d da uh still the
content is not enough right however in
these questions content doesn't
matter so take it like make it like
two so uh categorize the describe image
into two two sections okay one with the
heading name and numbers another without
heading name and numbers okay with the
name and number I already explained so
much you know I've done uh demos with
the non-heading types non- number types
there is a ninja technique okay and
what's the technique the technique is to
read the instructions on the top you can
literally read anything that you like
okay and uh still get this full
score like anything like even you can
read your
passport whatever is written in English
you can mug up some fixed sentences like
poem or rhyme like twinkle twinkle star
how I wonder what you are and you can
still score okay for example let me use
my ninja technique
okay
restart we'll still follow the
template the picture is mainly about
look at the image below and also about
in 25 seconds please speak into the
microphone and also about describe in
detail what the image is showing and
also about you will have 40 seconds to
give your response I think that's enough
thank you so
much now this might feel a bit fast
because uh I am speaking fast in this
case because I know this sentence by
heart okay so again practice makes
perfect you see here but same technique
you use in another website somewhere
else doesn't work in the real exam it
works this is not like like uh we are
doing it in our website
only uh we've done that in the real exam
and uh that's how we got to know that
this thing works okay but fluently you
cannot pause and you know hesitate and
think blah blah blah Mumble fumble
whatever if you say
confidently the way that I did just now
you will get the score okay as soon as
you slow down or pause then your marks
will get affected so again it's not
magic it's it's not just Milestone study
that gives you marks here it's a real
exam that gives you the marks okay
unless they change something I'm telling
you I'm warning you if they change
something in the system then this
doesn't work but today January 25th this
works okay yeah I think I have
emphasized a lot about this technique
okay guys so I hope you learned
something from this video if you have
more confusion more queries let me know
