hands tofuco claymation video now this

one is well overdue it is a video that

you guys have been asking for quite a

long time i did do a video on the

quicksand product about a year ago and i

showed you how to use it and i also

quickly reviewed it so i'm going to do

very much the same thing but for

claymation and guys if you have come

along to this video just to see how i

use the product to do something a bit

like this hairstyle then i have put a

little time code down there so you can

scrub along or you might even be able to

honest if i don't like something then

you'll know about it and if i do like

something then you certainly will know

about it should also say that i have

been using this product for a while so

it's not just something i've picked up

and given a quick go i have properly

road tested this bad boy and i know what

it can do and how i use it so claymation

is a hybrid product i mean it's got more

than just one thing in there and you can

see that in the ingredients so the ones

at the top are obviously the ones that

it has the most of so the top two are

beeswax and bentonite and bentonite is

an impure form of clay and you can see

that

in the color it's got that sort of gray

clay finish and also because it's clay

it gives it the matte finish in terms of

smell of product

it kind of doesn't smell of anything

there is a sort of hint

of that beeswax but generally it's

orderless now on the front here it says

super high hold and matte finish and you

can see that in the hairstyle that i've

just done here we've got a good hold

lots of volume in it and it's got

absolutely no shine or gloss and as with

all hands to vehicle products it says

it's certified organic and it's paraben

free and parabens are those sort of

nasty little preservatives that you get

in so many products so if you're asking

me would i recommend this product to you

then i would say

yes i would i don't take lightly to

recommending products because i know

that some things can be really expensive

we don't have that much money and you

want to just be chucking cash at things

but i do think this is a really good

purchase it's about 16 pounds within the

uk i'll put links in the description

about 17 to 20 dollars if they're in the

us and and as i say i have been using

this for about

about five to six months and i've still

got quite a bit left and when i have

finished it i will be buying it again

which if anything is a very positive

review for them um and also you know

people have been asking me what should i

use what should i try um for example

sarah who i sit next to at work said my

husband is looking for a product he

wants something quite neat to sort of

slick his hair back he's got shorter

hair than you you being me what she try

and i said straight away try the hands

difficult claymation also guys if you're

just getting into doing stuff with your

hair and you want to experiment a bit

with different hairstyles this could be

the bad boy for you because it is really

versatile you can see that i've gone for

this sort of slicked back that's got

this sort of pump at the front or if you

hear shorter than mine then you can sort

of

tug on it slightly give it a bit more

definition and sort of spike it

but that is the perfect link into

getting going and showing you how and

what you can do with the product when

you're ready

let's go for it now we're going to get a

matte finish from this product but if

you want to give it a bit of a shine

then style your hair when it's slightly

damp to wet and that will just give it a

really natural shine so let's start i'm

going to use

it's about

a 10 piece size piece warm it into my

hands

as with all products and you want any

lumps and i'm just going to brush it

back

into the hair just coating it

like that

and really if you wanted to

then that could be it already

because it actually looks pretty good

like that

and that's just a case of me pushing it

back with my hands just adding volume or

if you want to slick it back and you can

grab your comb

and just

comb and with your other hand

just kind of neaten it up slightly

i'm just going all around the hair and

it's so quick and so easy

and this could be a second look for you

you can kind of just play with it here

pull it up a bit

so it can be

sort of volumized

or you can flatten it

what i like to do is at the end just run

my hands through it just to give it

a bit more of a modern twist or

what you can do is

you can get your brush that's not a

brush that's a hair dryer

that's a brush

and go for about a medium heat and a

fast speed

and just work up and through

just using the brush curling around and

peeling up

round

and up directing the heat into here

which helps to set it and also build

volume

and you can see that obviously with a

brush and with a hair dryer it's just

really built this volume

into the front and it's given this kind

of

relaxed rockabilly look

with this big volume in the front

which we can kind of just play with and

i like to keep it

really relaxed

and then if you do want to sort of

neaten it up a bit

maybe the sides and the back

and just take a tiny bit of product like

that

into your hands

and just kind of

tease it back

again just keeping it quite rough really

quick

like so

quite like these bits just kind of like

sitting

like that

i'm just again pushing and guys this is

exactly why i like this product so much

and why i use it most days that i'm not

going for that massive quiff look

because all you need is one product and

maybe a comb or a brush and a hair dryer

uh just to build up a bit of volume and

give your hair

just that movement that you want in it
