Transcripts
I spent hundreds of dollars trying to
find the perfect polar shirt for under
$50 and I think I might have just found
it I tried Pol from uni Yuga boss Tommy
Hilfiger Kevin Klein Masti Zara and many
many more but there was always something
I didn't like either the fit was too
baggy the sleeves were too long the
color was flapping around the color
started to fade very quickly the fabric
fell cheap all the price just got a
little crazy because for me at the
moment The Sweet Spot for polo shs is
somewhere around $50 to $60 and I just
found one brand that taks all of those
boxes and the brand is Spear and M and
this is not a sponsored video I paid for
these polar shirts myself I just wanted
to share my experience because I really
really like them and I also feel a bit
like I've been living under a rock
because I only learned about spe and
McKay about 3 months ago and it's such a
great brand for all of your Essentials
especially for the quiet luxury or the
old money style look because they have
no logos they have great designs and
they also have pretty good Fabrics as
well for the price point so when I first
found out about them I decided to place
an order for a couple of polar shirts
and I got one polar shirt in navy blue
one in dark green and then also a long
sleev one in light green and I paid $38
for the regular po shirts and $48 for
the long sleeve one and here's what I
love about the
shirts one thing I love the most about
these po shirts is the color because
they're very similar to a shirt color so
you have some nice wi spread colors or
you can even get some button- down
colors as well they're pretty firm and
on top of that they also have color
stays soon into them and that basically
means that you can wear the portal
shirts even with a sports jacket and the
color won't flap around all the time and
because the colors are quite white and
they look more like a shirt color it
really sets them apart visually from any
other polar shirts at this price range
and in my opinion I think especially the
color makes these ones look a lot more
expensive than the actual price which is
just around
$38 next up we have the fit and I
personally really really laugh how they
fit many polar shirts are usually a
little bit baggy around the midsection
and often they're also too long or the
sleeves are too long as well and these
ones fit me just right the length is
exactly what I want it's not too long
not too short and the sleeves finish
right around the middle of the biceps
they also seem to be pretty true to the
Regular Size because normally for Polish
shirts I get a size L and in this case I
also get a size L and it fits me
perfectly so keep this in mind as well I
think for some polar shirts if they are
a little bit tighter than normal then
they also leave a note on the website as
well it's a little bit difficult to show
the quality of the Polar shirt on camera
but one thing I can say is that they do
feel a lot more high quality than most
of the Polish shirts I have and all of
the ones that I have are in the price
range of somewhere around $2 to $90
there's only one of them it's from a
Korean brand I think it's roughly around
$140 $150 and that one has an
exceptional quality it's super soft but
then again it's also three times more
expensive than this shirt and I think
for $38 the polar shirt has a very good
quality because the fabric feels quite
soft but also sturdy as well and when
you touch it you can feel that they
should last you quite some time and one
thing that I also really like is that
they use a 100% Egyptian cotton so they
don't mix it with polyester I can't
really say much about how the Pol shirts
look after a couple of washers because
so far I've only worn and washed them
for about three or four times so about
this I can only give an update in a
couple of months but for now I can say
the quality feels really good especially
for the price point I personally also
love the fact that they don't have a
logo because it makes them look a lot
more subtle and elegant and it's perfect
for the quiet luxury
look obviously the price is another
Advantage the short SLE turts are just
around $38 which is a very very fair
price for the quality that you get
because for me personally I couldn't
find any better polo shirts around this
price range if you go to the $100 to
$150 price range of course you're going
to find polar shirts in higher quality
but then again of course the price is
also much higher and I don't know about
you but for me personally around $50 is
kind of The Sweet Spot for polo shirts
at least at the
moment I also have to mention the
customer service because when I first
ordered the long sleeve polar shirt and
it arrived here it had a small hole in
the chest area so I took a photo I sent
him an email they replied pretty quickly
and then they also offered me to return
it for free and also to cover the
shipping cost and on top of that I also
didn't have to return the old shirt they
would just sent me a new one and this is
pretty good service I don't know if it's
also the fact that I'm in Asia right now
so all of the customs and the shipping
costs are going to be more expensive
than the shirt itself I don't know if
that's the case but either way it's a
great service from the company and I
really like how they handle this
situation because that's how you get to
repeat and happy customers as well so in
conclusion if you like wearing po shirts
like I do and you're looking for a good
option under $50 then I can highly
recommend you the PO shirts from spe
McKay I also got a turtleneck sweater
from them and a puffer vest and so far I
was very happy with everything that I
order from them I know that I can
possibly review and try every brand in
the world so if there's any brand that
you know that makes great portal shirts
for around $50 then let me know in the
comments below and if you're looking for
a great company for dress shirts then
