I have judged the E6N on these parameters.

You will get to see a thin bezel design in the Hisense E6N.

You won't be able to see the bezels from the front

and it looks really good and premium in terms of looks.

It's a mix of metal and plastic which is also good.

To table mount it you will get a stand made of plastic

and if you wall mount it then from the side profile,

you will get this relatively slim which is a good thing.

And if you look at the remote control

then you will get a lot of hotkeys in it.

And this remote control also has a voice assistant button.

In Hisense E6N, you will get an 8bit FRC VA DLED panel

and this time, in 2024, it is a very great panel.

Why am I saying this?

Because its peak HDR brightness is 300 nits.

This 300 nits is sustained brightness.

It can peak up to 400 nits.

So this panel can peak up to 400 nits.

This is very good and this is good because last year's,

i.e. predecessor of this E6N, in the E7K model

didn't give you that much brightness and that is the reason

With good brightness, you need a good contrast ratio

because it is a VA panel.

So when we checked its contrast ratio,

it came out to be 4000:1 and I am really surprised and happy.

Happy because the contrast ratio is good

but surprised because with this panel,

getting a good contrast ratio means

you will get to see the variations of blacks, whites, and greys.

We got those but in the grey uniformity,

we got a very great result, that I can't say.

We can't expect that from the TV if this range.

But overall, and all in all, I'm really happy with the contrast.

You'll love the picture quality.

If we look at the color gamut of the E6N,

you get 100% sRGB, but 78% DCI-P3 ratio.

That means that the color graph has some oversaturation.

We can tell that by looking at the picture quality

and also by looking at the graph

that the blue is a little oversaturated.

Because of this, the TV of Hisense

will look a little brighter compared to last year.

And overall, in the picture quality,

you will have a little more illusion of brightness.

It is not bad, but the picture quality looks

very punchy and vivid.

This is the result of blue over-saturation.

It doesn't look bad, but you should know.

If we talk about the overall picture quality,

then I am really surprised and happy with Hisense E6N.

The reason for this is that it leaps and bounds forward

from its predecessor.

Because its predecessor didn't come

with a very good dynamic range

and in that, you got to see some banding also.

Which surprisingly I didn't get to see on this TV.

I am not saying that you won't get banding

in this range of budget.

In fact, you will get some banding in any other TV

but in this TV,

there is a lot of improvement compared to last year.

We saw a 90% improvement from the last year's model

which is a very good thing.

Motion blur is also very controlled

and you will enjoy watching fast action scenes or sports

and you will not face any problem with motion blur

because you get low-latency MEMC on this TV.

While watching sports, it automatically goes to sports mode

which is a very good thing

and you enjoy that low-latency MEMC.

Overall, if you look at the TV,

you will only see a small difference because it is a VA panel,

you won't get that much good viewing angles.

If you want to sit on the extreme side and watch this TV

then you can expect approximately

25-30% color and brightness loss.

If you are watching this from the front,

then you will be amazed with the picture quality

because the colors, the overall brightness,

and the contrast is very good in this TV.

In Hisense E6N you get to see Google OS out of the box

on the Prime video, which is very good

because it's a casual gaming TV

and you can't expect more from this TV.

Overall I can say that in the casual gaming department,

this TV is perfect.

In Hisense E6N, you get Dolby Audio

The audio quality is loud but not too punchy.

You won't have much experience with the bass in this.

And you can't even expect this

because it's a 30W audio without any subwoofer.

First of all, let's talk about the cons of Hisense E6N.

As I told you earlier and showed you,

the grey uniformity in this TV is not that great.

In fact, if you look at all the colors, they are not that uniform.

But will this ruin your viewing experience?

Not at all.

Because you are not going to check the uniformity

in the viewing experience.

By checking the grey screen,

a black screen, or a white screen,

you will not check the uniformity of the TV.

What I can do as a reviewer, I can tell you.

But as an audience or as a TV user, you will be watching this.

You will enjoy movies and different types of content,

and uniformity will not matter much there.

But as a reviewer, it is my duty to tell you

that there is not much uniformity.

And I don't expect that from this budget TV.

From this VA panel,

you should not expect a great viewing angle.

As I already told you,

you can expect a loss of 25-30% in brightness and colors

if you are watching this TV from the extreme side.

But if you are watching from the front,

then no problem at all

because you will have a great experience of colors.

Yes, the colors are oversaturated, particularly blue

but that oversaturation will not be stinging your eyes.

This is not an oversaturation of red and green

which will sting your eyes and you see very bright colors.

Blue over saturation creates an optical illusion of a brighter TV

and that is what you are going to feel.

Consider this as a pro of this TV that in this

you get a better brightness than last year

and in fact an overall better panel.

Because till last year you used to get a lot of banding

this year you get to see almost no banding.

I am not saying it is completely gone, it is not.

But now you will see only 10% banding compared to last year

and that too at some places, that too if you notice it very carefully.

And this is very good.

That means that the brightness is better

and overall the brightness of the 300 nits

is showing the colors very well.

The panel is showing it very well.

And this is what you can say for contrast.

4000:1 is a fantastic contrast ratio

and in that, you will be able to see the variations of blacks,

and this will be very satisfying in itself

because when you check the dynamic range of this TV

then it is very good.

You will see details in the shadows,

you will see depth in the colors

and when you see the variations in the blacks

then you will overall enjoy the picture quality.

Now it is possible

that these things are very technical for all of you.

So I will explain this in a simple language.

When we watch a movie or any content,

we don't know what we like about the content.

Why do we like the picture quality, we don't know that.

These are the technical things

that matter for good picture quality.

And all this is on this TV.
