It highlights analysts' concerns over inflation, with the Central Bank of America indicating no immediate interest rate cuts despite inflation remaining stubbornly above 3%. The nervousness in the market is attributed to aggressive policy expectations that may need to be revised. The speaker aims to guide the audience through macroeconomic data points to form a critical thought process based on objective and quantitative data analysis.
👓 Central Banks' Inflation Misjudgments and Market Adjustments
This section reflects on past misjudgments by central banks, such as the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank, regarding inflation rates in 2021 and 2022. It presents a chart illustrating the discrepancy between the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index and the Federal Funds rate. The paragraph questions the reliability of central bankers, suggesting that they might underestimate the impact of high-interest rates (5.5% in the US), leading to economic and employment issues. It also mentions Jerome Powell's recent statement about the lack of progress in reducing inflation, reinforcing the market's belief that interest rates will remain higher for longer.
🏠 Housing and Transportation Inflation Components
The paragraph delves into the components that have driven up inflation, particularly highlighting the housing sector, which remains high at 5.7% and is a significant part of the inflation basket.
l'inflazione continua a rimanere
appiccicosa e continua a rimanere al di
sopra del 3% e ai mercati questo
nervosismo Questa aggressività non piace
e allora devono di nuovo cambiare le
loro aspettative devono riformulare
quando effettivamente taglieranno i
voglio accompagnarvi accompagnarvi
nell'unire i puntini quali puntini
quelli dei dati macroeconomici in modo
tale che non dobbiate subire le
informazioni i titoloni dei giornali i
titoli clickbait di qualche youtuber ma
per permettervi invece di creare un
pensiero critico basato su un approccio
oggettivo che utilizza i dati in maniera
quantitativa per prendere delle
decisioni Cominciamo con il protagonista
poel presidente della Banca Centrale
Americana Perché i questi protagonisti
non ci dovremmo fidare troppo no vedete
l'inflazione E allora mi chiedo Ma noi
ci dobbiamo fidare di Questi personaggi
Questi personaggi potrebbero adesso fare
lo stesso errore che hanno fatto nel
2021 nel 2022 fino a luglio del 2023 ma
questa volta al contrario e cioè
sottostimare l'effetto
dei tassi di interesse che sono al
5,5% in America alti a livelli alti e
che a un certo punto creeranno una
frattura un problema Una fragilità in
termini di Economia e in termini di
disoccupazione e proprio ieri infatti
vedere l'economic Summer dell'ultimo
2024
no Guardate la l'istogramma verde è
i suoi parametri a gennaio 2024 e quella
Marrone è Invece l'ultima lettura di
marzo vedete come Effettivamente I
trasporti sono aumentati al 10,7 ma
soprattutto lo shelter vedete che lo
shelter ancora rimane alto era al 6% a
gennaio e rimane al 57 ragazzi lo
shelter ovvero gli alloggi e dentro ci
sono anche gli affitti è la componente
singola più grande nel calcolo del
paniere dell'inflazione Ecco perché è lì
è quello quel dato che deve
effettivamente diminuire e poi ci sono
anche altri dati come per esempio è
tornata ad aumentare il prezzo della
benzina non solo in America Eh la
benzina è aumentata anche in Italia è
arrivata in alcune città a 24 25 a litro
No in America siamo a 3,5 a Gallone e
nasce spontanea davvero ci dobbiamo
summary Scusate vedono Comunque nel
2024 tre tagli dei tassi 75 punti base e
e quindi qui ci ci domandiamo Ma a chi
praticamente distruggendo circa 90
miliardi di dollari al mese
e andando a vedere i verbali dell'ultima
riunione sembra proprio che i funzionari
siano favorevoli a ridurre questo ritmo
da qui la parola tapering ridurre questo
ritmo alla metà quindi da 0 passare a 65
miliardi e Considerate che Il tapering
come azione si attua quando siamo vicini
ad un taglio dei tassi Quindi se
veramente si comincia a diminuire il
quantit di vising in termini di
distruzione di denaro Allora non è vero
quello che dice Powell Allora siamo
vicini ad un taglio dei tassi vedete
quante
incongruenze se poi andiamo a vedere
tutti quanti i dati e i mercati
finanziari in tut tutto questo cosa
dicono ci sarà veramente questo Crash
veramente il mercato può fare un
ritracciamento del
10-15 Beh andiamo a vedere Intanto come
invece a dicembre sta stimando eh vedete
dove eravamo a marzo Eh ragazzi a metà
marzo eravamo qui al
4,4% bene I rendimenti sono aumentati di
del
12,54 per. cioè Siamo passati dal 4 e4
quasi al 5% Questi sono i 2 anni i 2
anni
essendo scadenze più brevi più vicine
alla curva controllata dalla Fed sono
anche più sensibili ma anche i 10 anni
sono aumentati notevolmente Quindi
l'obbligazionario ci sta dicendo
rendimenti Così bassi devo tornare a
a lungo Ve la ricordate higher for
8% l' 8%
non so che cosa veramente per arrivare
all' 8% vuol dire che l'inflazione è
dobbiamo sicuramente stare attenti E
come vi ho detto prima i tassi di
interesse non impattano solo su sui sul
mondo finanziario ma impattano anche
sulle nostre tasche nostre di cittadini
di consumatori Infatti guardate qua in
America Le banche Guardate come sono
aumentati gli interessi che le banche
applicano ai debiti su carta di
credito siamo arrivati al
21,59 avete capito bene
21,59 è quanto le banche
applicano come interesse a chi fa debito
vedevano dagli anni 90 ci rendiamo conto
e vedete che guardate come eravamo bassi
abbiamo toccato questo Pic
nel 2019 e poi sono aumentati non sono
aumentati solo quelli è aumentato anche
il delinquency rate cioè sempre più
persone non riescono a restituire il
debito sia accumulato sulle carte di
credito sia per esempio per quanto
riguarda il prestito preso per i mutui
quindi i problemi cominciano
effettivamente a a a presentarsi
34,66 trilon dollar Comincia a diventare
un problema grosso per gli Stati Uniti
che finalmente cominciano a sentire la
pressione che a cui noi italiani siamo
ben abituati quindi staremo a vedere
come reagiscono bene in tutto questo i
mercati finanziari che fanno per ora Beh
per ora scendono scendono un pochino
fanno meno 4,5%
nemmeno un - 5% e considerate vedete Io
mi tiro sempre fuori questo grafico lo
conoscete Se Seguite il canale lo
vediamo spesso quando i mercati scendono
e quando tutti cominciano a ad aver
paura a mettersi le mani nei capelli no
che Che succede Perché i mercati
scendono e ragazzi i mercati scendono
perché non salgono sempre Guardate
questo ci fa vedere negli anni dagli
anni
90 praticamente al
2020 Quante correzioni cioè
ritracciamenti del - 5%
ci sono all'anno sull s&p 500 la media
sono
3,3 quindi ci sono almeno 3 di media eh
3,3 correzioni del Men 5% ci sono anni
dove Guardate 2008 ce ne sono state 11
pensare all'apocalisse No è normale Sono
possono fare buyback Che vuol dire
buyback buyback vuol dire ricomprare le
proprie azioni vedete quanto Eh quanto
mettiamo l' s&p 500 andiam cela a vedere
del 10-15 per. quindi vorrebbe dire
arrivare
impulso ritracciamento secondo impulso
abbassando quindi andatelo a vedere e in
quel video andatelo a vedere e poi
economici
approvvigionamento
e quindi questo pesa sicuramente queste
ci sono guardate qui le tariffe che
l'America continua ad alzare su ehm
sulla Cina sui metalli della Cina
acciaio alluminio questi aggravano la
situazione della catena di
approvvigionamento ma non solo per
quanto riguarda il rame guardate qui il
rame ragazzi sta attraversando e
regime economico reflazione
tre dei settori che sono economicamente
più sensibili al mercato azionario che
avevano raggiunto i loro massimi Beh
sembra che stiano perdendo proprio il
loro slancio mi riferisco ai
semiconduttori costruzioni edili e
società di trasporti vedete come dopo
questo grande aumento che hanno avuto
tutti e tre i settori Beh adesso sembra
l'international monetary Fund e torniamo
qui a pagina 22 Se guardiamo le
previsioni di prodotto interno lordo Eh
beh vediamo che l'America ancora va bene
è stimato il 2,6% di crescita nel 2024
anche l'Europa tutto sommato non sta
andando male guardate le l'economic
Forecast della commissione europea 2024
+ 0,9% che comunque vuol dire un
incremento rispetto al 2023 e nel 2025
ancora un altro incremento più forte
all'
1,7% quindi ragazzi a che conclusioni
effettivamente possiamo arrivare se
siamo degli investitori Beh la prima
cosa è focalizzare il l'orizzonte
temporale perché cambiano molto i
ragionamenti se il vostro Orizzonte
temporale di lunghissimo termine quindi
siete investitori cassetti no e
viceversa se siete investitori di breve
termine
Price earnings no Rimaniamo sempre
saranno i tagli ci stanno semplicemente
dicendo che non sanno ancora Quando
faranno i tagli almeno negli Stati Uniti
perché Guardate che in Europa la
situazione è diversa L'economia in
Europa l'avete vista Poco fa non non è
così splendida come come lo è invece
negli Stati
Uniti quindi questo perché ve lo sto
dicendo per farvi rimanere sempre non
oscillare tra due
diciamo estremi come se fosse un pendolo
no troppo entusiasmo che poi diventa
troppa paura che poi ritorna a troppo
entusiasmo ragazzi Noi dobbiamo cercare
invece di rimanere equilibrati Come come
come investitori di breve e di lungo
termine E come si fa a rimanere
equilibrati Beh prendendo decisioni che
sono basate su dati prendendo decisioni
che sono processi decisionali che sono
basati su informazioni qu quantitative e
non su qualcosa che leggiamo sul
giornale o qualcosa che dicono al
telegiornale o qualcosa che dice uno
youtuber me compreso me compreso questi
puntini e farvi vedere cosa veramente
faccio niente nemmeno io ragazzi Grazie
mille per l'attenzione Direi che per
questa diretta è tutta tutto noi ci
vediamo prestissimo alla prossima
diretta
e domani 17:30 ve lo ricordo Quindi
Lasciatemi un commento iscrivetevi al
canale buoni investimenti a tutti Ciao
