how this works and I'll give you my

thoughts on it so basically they have

combined

the black and the red the ultimate

and the big red sponge into one sponge

here now these sponges

have a little bit different

softness to them and a lot of people

think the black is softer than the red

hey it's all it's all opinion to me

actually the red is softer than the

black in my opinion

they've got the nice shape on it so it

fits in your hand and it it's small it's

nice easy to move around now this this

black one

is known to be able to use it with soap

or rinseless wash the red one is a rinse

the swash sponge and I guess some people

try it with soap I I don't I don't

really use either with soap I've tried

the black

so you can use soap rinse this wash or

both rinse the swash doesn't really

matter we're going to try it out today

we're going to be using some DIY rinse

this wash

we're going to be using some ceramic

gloss for my finishing topping drying

Aid add some protection gloss and

slickness from DIY and we'll be using

the detail guards bucket and their wash

rinseless system I I use it they it's

their uh mitt system for shampooing but

I like to use it for rinseless washing

wash from DIY details here

and we're going to add

about two ounces into my four gallons

stuff smells good

all right we got our Legacy sponge now

this is the only sponge we're going to

be using not multiple mitts not multiple

sponges not multiple buckets just one

one bucket since I have all the dirt

blocks inside there I got the scrub

guards the wall scrubbers I got

everything in here

so we're gonna let this soften up it's

brand new I'm going to leave it in there

for about five ten minutes and I'll be

back

all right guys so just because it's

called rinseless wash doesn't mean you

don't have to rinse the car first now

this car is full of dust it's windy it's

been windy all week and it needs a good

wash

rinse this mosh means you don't have to

rinse after you wash the car you can go

right to drying or applying your

drainage and then dry so we are going to

rinse the car first normally I would use

my pre-spray or a bucket but it's windy

out here it's cold

and I'm in a hurry so I'm just doing a

quick once over with the hose to knock

all the loose dirt and dust off there

now I know you guys can't see the dust

but

it's there can you see that

it's all over it okay here's here's

another view lots of dust it's all over

the dust has washed off now we're gonna

do our rinse this wash that fast

all right we've let the sponge soak up

feels nice and soft

I would say that

I don't know they're both pretty soft

this this side just feels more firm the

black it could be a softer material but

it feels more firm this one

lets you squish it more

so here we go let's get some of this out

still wet

but rung out a little bit

okay we've still got a little bit of

product on there

let's go over to the car we'll start

with the red side

and you just kind of wipe

now since I've got this bucket system

sitting here to clean this sponge as

much as I want I'm going to flip it

halfway through

and move on to the other half

that way

we've got the dirt on both sides

stick it inside here

Pump It pump that bottom thing flip this

over pump it get the water flowing rub

it on the side walls

we're good to go again

move on with the car here

now I tell you this DIY rinse this wash

is really a great product

smells good

it's smooth

you got the nice lubrication so right

about here I'm going to flip

and move on over

to the next

half of the sponge

I'll get all these windows

and it's cold out here it's windy

so I can just keep going on and on I

don't have to worry about this drying up

and once I'm done with the top here

then I'll go get my drying Aid and my

basically on top it's dried it's washed

and gloss on it we did Glass and paint

the rest of the car I like this sponge

what happens when you rub it

and you clean it

it's all clean again

the wheels are dirty and actually I'm

trying to really dirty them up for

another video but I'm gonna do one for

you and what you can do is you can spray

them down

this is uh all cleaned by DIY details

so

what I would prefer is to pour some of

this rinse this wash into another bucket

but I don't have a bucket available

right now

actually I do let me get

I'll grab some of your

rinseless wash

now the reason I pour it into another

bucket is because I do cars with this

when I do the paint so I don't want

this dirty water

touching

the paint so I've got my towel here

and all you do is go ahead and clean

surface you can use a brush you can use

whatever you want I just have this towel

and I'm just kind of giving you a quick

demonstration

so you just keep cleaning them cleaning

them real good

and then you can wipe the tire down

get your other towel these are all wheel

dedicated towels

you wipe it and you're pretty much done

okay this bucket should be dedicated for

your wheels you don't want to do put the

dirty little dirt back in this bucket

here and these towels are wheel towels

one this is a nice size sponge now they

all have the cuts but this one actually

I like the size of this it fits in my

hand you can get underneath the door

handles with the tip although you could

stick this inside there too

there's the size difference

here's another size difference it's just

more ergonomic

here's this one it is a little bit

bigger than the black sponge

as far as surface goes

but essentially about the same size as

the width of it

so very very cool sponge here actually I

think this is my favorite so far now

before I liked the big yellow sponge a

lot with the with the big red sponge

right behind it but this one just feels

good as a combination and I think at

this

uh when they come out with the final

draft this will probably be my favorite

sponge of all as far as rinseless

washing sponges go now so you guys keep

an eye out for this DIY details very

very cool sponge we use their rinseless

wash

very nice product smells good one ounce

to two gallons roughly you can make it

into a pre-spray you know a waterless

wash clay Lube stuff like that this is a

foaming

one solid Scott

Suds inside it very cool you could shoot

it out your pressure washer or your

foamer

we dried the car and as we were drying

when it was still wet we would spray it

with ceramic gloss and then come back

over it with the towel so it's got a

super glossy finish got some protection

on it and it looks fantastic so you

spray this while it's wet and then you

come back and dry it dries easier safer

and you've added protection if you

wanted to do the wheels I showed you

guys that you get a little separate

bucket one that doesn't mix your towels

or your water with your normal rinse

washing that touches the paint because

we're working on Wheels you could spray

it I used all clean from DIY details

it's they're all-purpose cleaner come

back in with your Rag and wipe it down

and then dry it so that works well too
