everyone I'm really happy to see you
here and my topic is power of decisions
overcoming the fear with it
um every time when I face A new
challenge there is a moment of doubt I
start asking myself and I start hearing
a voice in my head will I do it
perfectly will I feel it will I uh do it
without any mistakes like does that ever
happen to
you yeah thank you so yeah yeah yeah
exactly and I've been contemplating the
reasons why this always happens to me
and the first reason I found out that
the first reason is that in their wiing
it is our toughest
opponent this is the first hurdle that I
faced while making an important decision
and then I start procrastinating and
then I start U feeling stress experienc
stress then I say to myself no like
perfectionism is not a good thing it's
just self- sabotage perfectionism always
leads to paral paralysis as like let's
say decision
paralysis this there is no one who is
like perfectly let's say perfect so I'm
sorry for topology so the second reason
is fear of judgment when we are afraid
of what other what other people will
think what other people will uh think
about us and then we start just again
procrastinating and uh creating let's
say
obstacles like let's say walking all our
potential inside us inside us but the
truth is feedback is a great tool for
growth it's not a criticism it is a
great opportunity to refine and improve
and it's not a sign of inadequacy and
the third one is the fear of failure
itself so here again we started asking
questions what if I fail uh what if I
don't need the deadline what if I'm not
productive enough what if I let myself
down but we should understand that
making mistakes is okay so everyone
makes mistakes and I clearly remember
the time uh when I was vacating between
plan for phc program or not because I
thought that I wasn't skilled enough
that I hadn't read enough books let's
say on Stylistics on Linguistics and so
on so forth like these are the books
like on my and then I asked the I asked
the advice from my friend and I
remembered her words for good and she
said you're not going to feel ready like
you will never feel ready enough so it's
better just to start it and the next one
is uh the realization and then I
realized that all the obstacles fears
and
doubt are all about me inside
me um are inside me and then I said to
myself like if you can create all all
these obstacles you can also create the
way out from it so you can control it I
said that fear of judgment can be
external but it can also be internal
because we are the one who accept and
who reject all the feedback that we um
that we get from other people because it
is our own world and we are in charge of
it and then
taking control so here we should take
control of Our Lives we should just stop
frightening we should just stop being
afraid of failure of making mistakes we
should just realize that we are what we
are because of our mistakes because of
our mistakes there is no one who can
become a great person without making a
mistake uh so let's compare a person
with a house
um the construction can be called our
mistakes and the great building with the
great let's say view is a person could
be Pi up so mistakes are great mistakes
are
great
and I'm sorry and at the end of the day
I can say that yes the fear is inside
you but also the power to overcome is
inside as well so don't be make mistakes
and do your best and uh make great
decisions and make serious decisions
[Applause]
